The cottage was easy to find and the host was prompt at answering a question I had about access and parking. Great place to stay with great food and shopping options. The cottage had everything we needed :)

Instructions at property for 2 units not clear. In our 7 night stay we had 2 different parties try to get into our unit in after dark!! No Peep Hole in door and no security door!!No windows that open to let in fresh air. No exhaust vent over stove. No pot to cook with, only 3 frying pans!! Bathroom sink has a drain problem. Bath shower has BLACK mold on walls in BOTH corners. The Toilet is turned into the wall. Lighting in bath is very poor and 2 lights in this unit were not working. Stick down tiles are coming up in places. Large Patio outside was not usable - nothing to sit now! The lock at the gate was being held together with duck tape. This place needs a lot of maintenance & repairs!!!!!!!!!! Please See My pictures.

This is a great little studio for one or two people! My daughter and I were in town for a soccer tournament and appreciated the location -- easy to access surrounding towns -- and the close proximity to the mall. The inside of the cottage is exactly as the pictures show, cute and comfy. The only part that was not totally clear is that this little studio is right in the backyard of the main house with very little separation. You must walk around the house into the backyard to enter. This didn't bother us, but if it would make you uncomfortable or you're looking for a private entry/parking, this probably isn't the place for you.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Kitchen supplies are a little spartan but still handy. There is a full-size stove, microwave, Coffee machine, toaster, 3-4 small to medium skillets, a saucepan, strainer, cutting boards, one mixing and one serving bowl, basic cooking utensils, and dishes/cutlery for two. (My list of supplies might not be comprehensive). There is also a Brita water pitcher but I think it has not been used in a while because there was mildew growing on the bottom of the inserted filter; easily fixed with a new filter. I did wish there was a potholder and a washcloth in the kitchen. There was only one dishtowel and a sponge. Cleanliness: It is basically clean in all the big spaces and I could tell they had just finished mopping when I arrived, but there was dust and cobwebs in corners/light fixtures, and on slats/vents of the windows and wall units. Inside cupboards wasn't very tidy. The fridge was very nice and clean.Towels: There were two bath towels and two hand towels, but no washcloths. There is a little shelf/clothes-hanging device that was really handy and the little sitting area was comfortable.We really enjoyed our stay and the corners wouldn't keep us from returning. But if the owners are paying a cleaning service, there are a few things not getting done.

Bucket list Trip! ✨

My stay was incredible! The home was exactly what was expected, the location was perfect for commuting and Seattle was amazing! Communication and check in/out with the host was seamless. The only thing I'd change about the trip would've been to stay longer!! I definitely recommend this VRBO and will be returning myself.

Beautiful little cottage

This little place is perfect for a solo traveler or couple. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of privacy. It’s easy to communicate with the hosts, and they return messages promptly. I highly recommend this cozy little place.

Pleasant stay without bugs

Cute place with A/C and kitchen, about 45 minutes outside Seattle, some holes in the walls, Raid under the sink, and a pest control guy spraying pesticide all around the cottage while we were still in it. Rusty shower. Otherwise, nice suburban neighborhood and good responsive hosts even brought a new Brita filter for the pitcher.

Nice place

Nice cottage. Comfy bed. Nice amenities. Great perk to have bottle water and coffee supplied. Attentive host. Would be nice to have a place to lock up valuables like passports.

Better than expected

This was a stay for my birthday and when the listing says ‘near to shopping and groceries’ it’s true! We spent the day shopping at Alderwood then had a nice night staying in, and getting ready for the RenFair in Snohomish the next day. I must say, the host has done a nice job of remodeling. AND the place is actually larger than it looks in pics. The only weird thing is the location of the light switches…but oh well!

Cute Rental

Rental was just what I needed for my stay. Since it was located in a neighborhood, it was quiet at night. Highly recommend for a solo or a couple to stay here.

Great cottage

Other than the TV volume not working, I would stay here again but not without a rental car or e-bike as it is difficult to walk directly to restaurants or grocery stores due to cul de sacs and fenced in properties. Very nice cottage for up to 2 persons and very responsive hosts. Go Tartans!

Small but functional

Small, but functional place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Every thing had a place and purpose and for the most part it had everything we needed (could have used some wash clothes and kitchen towels). It was a good area for the activities we had planned. Check in/out was easy. Would recommend for a short stay.

Inexpensive, Cozy, and Easy to find - But could use deeper cleaning

The cottage is well designed to make the best use of the relatively small space. Everything we could have needed for our trip was provided, even though we didn't need it (Washer/Dryer, Oven). There are tons of outlets in the unit so you don't need to go searching for a place to plug in your devices. The only shortcoming was the cleanliness when it came to less common surfaces (Shelves, ledges, floors, etc ) which were not as clean as I'd come to expect in rental units, and the towels provided had a damp odor unfortunately which was a little unpleasant. All in all for the price of the stay and the accommodations provided I would suggest the cottage to others.

Comfortable and quiet

The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Needs improvement on cleanliness. We were not ok with rat/mouse poison granules sitting out in view, especially having a child with us.
