San Juan Log Home - 4 queen beds in 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths – washer and dryer – internet with streaming entertainment - view of waterfall – river & mountains. Great log home located on the river in the San Juan Mountains. Is hand-crafted of natural Colorado spruce and fir logs in 19th century style. Comfortable and airy. Full kitchen, dining, living with couch. Front porch and upstairs balcony. Fire pit. BBQ. Designated spacious trailer parking area. Spectacular views and private fishing along both sides of river. Log cabin estates, 14 acres, playground, picnic pavilion, horseshoes, and hoops. ATV drive-in and drive-out to trailheads. Elevation 8670 ft. Lake Fork of the Gunnison at your doorstep. Lots of furry and feathered friends’ sightings and visitations. We do not use pesticide chemicals. We are subject from time-to-time to dusty mountain breezes. Please contact us for more frequent cleaning as necessary. Outside smoking only. Our log home is close to parks, art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, and the expansive National Forest of the San Juan Mountains. The quaint Victorian mining town of Lake City is 1 mile north - nice flat walk. We are available nearby at our main home on the premises 24-7 to help with any questions or issues that may arise.

Nice rustic cabin and great location. Be sure to reach out to the host for cabin number, but easy to find and all the necessary amenities. Friendly neighbors and if you require anything just walk down to the office.

Great location. Playground right outside front door for kids. No games provided so bring your own board games to entertain kids. Burn ban in effect so could not use outside grill or fire ring. Dishwasher leaked so had to wash dishes by hand before . No ac so had to sleep with windows open which at times was uncomfortable due to wildfires in area and smoke in air. Overall good vacation and family time which is most important. Would probably stay here again.

Great location

The cabin location was great next to the river. Towels and bathroom supplies were limited so we had to go purchase some for the trip. Cabin is not very soundproof so it’s pretty noisy with neighbors close to you with ATVs. If you’re looking for a cabinet location with lots of activity around you, this is a great place.

Friends trip

Pro’s - Location -easy access to trails, Lake City is a cute town! Communication with the host-Top notch, very responsive Cabin is very cute, resort area is mostly quiet, filled with trees. Cons- Honestly, the cons I am going to talk about were minimal and I would not have normally been overly concerned if the cost wasn’t as high as it was. Broken appliances- washer machine was out with a note that they were waiting for apart Unable to turn the ceiling fan off (ceilings were like 20ft tall) I did ask the host and they sent a maintenance person who came and said they need to replace the chain and then we didn’t see them again. No cleaning supplies- usually if a place has a dishwasher they will provide the soap or at least a wash worth, This location did not have them and it took us several days to be able to access the local grocery to be able to purchase some. Again, minor inconveniences if the rental rate wasn’t as high as it was. For the rate I paid, I would expect things in working order and “normal” supplies on hand. End of the day we had a great trip and the place comfortably fit 4 couples (two beds are in same loft but on opposite ends). Host was quickly responsive and friendly the whole time.

I'm sorry you seem to have trouble communicating with me. My email, telephone and text are all posted and readily available. Housekeeping is available 12 hours a day. I'm now hearing this after you left? Poor communication skills I guess on your part. We pride ourselves on taking care of any questions immediately. I heard nothing! Management

Pictures were deceiving as this place was very close to other cabins and the pictures did not portray that. Do plan on taking basic essentials for the kitchen such as paper towels and garbage bags. Host was helpful and answered our questions. Overall, a decent place to stay.

The place was clean and large, however it felt very bare bones with no little things: cooking oil, salt and pepper, extra blankets, ice cube trays, etc. The location and proximity to town was nice. We had also not gotten check in instructions and were not aware that this was a cabin at a whole complex.
