Very nice place. Beds were comfortable and the place was really roomy and clean. Would have like some instructions for the tv and hot tub, which never really heated up. The basement had a bad smell so we didn't go down there. We found wet cushions in a room down there, so they may have a leak somewhere. But the smell didn't get upstairs.Overall, it was a fun weekend, and we would definitely return.

Beautiful, very clean house. Hot tub was great! The kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of cinnamon and nutmeg in the cabinet for baking!

Beautiful setting tucked in the woods. Stunning great room that was well used by our group. Convenient location close to Bromley, Stratton, and Manchester.Sleeping arrangements are really for 6 comfortably, two more using a pull out sofa. Game room has an air mattress but only one way to egress so we didn't feel comfortable to use.Property is generally clean and we'll appointed but could use a touch of TLC (some burned out lamps, scary wobbly bookshelf, games missing pieces, ping pong table is well used etc)Host was responsive to a few issues we raised, though would've preferred not to have to raise them!

Luxury in the Forest

We loved this property nestled in the Green Mountain forests - the dramatic great room is absolutely stunning and all the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and luxurious. The decks are really amazing and hot tub is great surrounded in forest!

Tranquil Haven

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Surrounded by a lush green forest, the house was well-appointed and had everything we could have wanted. The beds were very comfortable and we thought the bathrooms were as high-end as any 5-star hotel. It had a rustic charm as well as a nice kitchen, and good internet too. Wonderful stay!

Family visit

This place was very enjoyable, it was just 3 of us so there was more than enough room. It is a very comfortable home and we enjoyed the easy trip into Manchester for some meals and a wonderful day of hiking some great nearby trails.

What an amazingly beautiful place! The house was perfect! It had everything we needed and plenty of room. It’s close to amenities as well as Bromley andStratton Ski areas. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice place but …

The house has a great ski/mountain look and feel. However, we were a group of nine and the house does not have sleeping space for nine. The site claims there are 2 twin beds which were not there. Also, the ad draws attention to the hot tub on the property. It was obvious that the owner did not want anyone to use it because there were no directions left and upon opening it we found it dirty and smelled chemically off balance.

Family ski getaway

This place was absolutely perfect and wonderful. It offered a cozy family getaway to enjoy the southern Vermont scene that we have grown to love so very much. The house and owner are absolutely amazing and we hope to stay here again for our trips back to this area. Highly recommend!

Great house, great location

My family enjoyed our stay at this house. It had plenty of room for all of us and the 5 bathrooms were great to have. Extremely clean. We didnt use the hot tub because it was too cold but that is definitely a plus to have. It is only a few minutes from Manchester Center and close to a lot of other restaurants and shops. The ownwr reached out days in advance and was available if needed, which we didnt. We will definitely be looking to book this house in the future! A++++

Multi generation family time

Sierras space was well laid out and comfortable There was enough room to spread out or be together. My granddaughters had fun playing and the adults could enjoy the hot tub and fireplace. A big plus was each family could have their own bathroom each one beautifully appointed. Location was central to Manchester and Stratton We did apple festivals and local craft fairs as well as hiking at Grout Pond. I would recommend this house for families and couples alike , a great vacation for us all

Even better than described

The photos are accurate, but the place seemed even better than I anticipated. It was perfect for our family of 4 (two teen boys) and dog. The weather was rainy and cold for a couple of days, but the house was cozy. The hot tub was great. And also the access the Manchester was a complete surprise to us. We didn't really know where we were going and we were pleasantly surprised to find a quaint town with shops and restaurants. The book store in town was amazing. We did lots of hiking and fishing. It was a 10/10 and I don't think we could have asked for more.

Fantastic summer vacation home

We almost looked past this property simply because the cover photo was taken at winter time, and we stayed here in the summer. So glad we looked into it! The beds were all quite cozy, the baths recently renovated, the house smells like a wood cabin in the mountains- it was great! The basement where the ping pong table was located smelled quite musty, but to be expected in a basement. Also, the grill outside definitely needs to be replaced- so use with extreme caution as the entire bottom of it was burned through and non existent. We would love to stay here again in the winter time! The host was fantastic and quick to respond to all of our questions.
