Spectacular vacation home and separate cabin on popular Fence Lake! Come enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds this Lake front property. This Northwoods home features 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room with a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace, and a walkout basement. The basement, offers a queen bed, a day bed and a futon, which often hosts a second family or adult children/grandchildren. Relax in the spacious sunroom and enjoy your morning coffee while gazing at the peaceful views. The lake is only 75 feet away from the home, which makes getting to the lake and the dock very convenient. The boathouse has electricity for your use.

In addition to the main house, there is a cabin on the property for your use as well (available MAY through OCTOBER only). It offers 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen with an eat-in sitting area overlooking the lake. The cabin sleeps an additional 7 people. Bring your boat and lifejackets for your recreational use or rent one from any of the great local boat rental companies. Hide-a-Way Bay is close to shopping, restaurants, golfing, biking and hiking trails. What are you waiting for? Book now to make family memories that will last a lifetime!!

Family retreat

Well equipped, clean, great location, easy to work with owner. The extra cabin space was perfect for the younger family. Loved all the water equipment and family games available.

Amazing Family Vacation

Our family has been going to Fence Lake since we were kids and it's so amazing to take the next generation up with all of us at one property! This place is amazing with a great location on the lake and wonderful houses with everything you would need. Our family enjoyed themselves immensely!

Annual Family Vacation

We had a great time the Northwoods. The cabins were spotless and Kevin thought of everything from linens and towels to blankets for the campfire. The only drawback was Swimmer's Itch!

We have stayed at many lake homes in Lac Du Flambeau. This was the cleanest and most well equipped property we have seen. Everything was provided and so thoughtfully made available. It was extremely comfortable in all ways. The property was exactly as described and pictured. Actually, it was even better! The home and grounds were all meticulously maintained.The location on the secluded bay was perfect on a big lake like Fence. We were able to paddleboard and kayak off the beach easily. The lake itself is great for boating, skiing and tubing. This is a perfect place for familes who love the lake!

The bay is peaceful, the equipment (boats, rafts, etc.) provided were enjoyed, the living accommodations were exceptional, the children's place area was a real plus, the views spectacular. A great experience for all of us!

Peaceful week away!

This was our second time at Hide-away-bay. Just like the first year, it didn’t disappoint. Kevin is a great host, and the property is wonderful. Perfect for a big family vacation. The beach area and water ‘toys’ were the favorite of the kids. Close enough to town, restaurants, shopping, yet secluded and peaceful. Will be back!

Lake vacation

We ho up North every year, and this is definitely the best property we stayed in. Location was amazing. House had everything we needed for a large group of adult and kids. It was very convenient to have a separate cottage for more privacy for another family. Kevin was a great host and very easy to get a hold of. We would love to come back!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time with our family at this property. The owner was very easy to work with. The property and lake access was fantastic, especially for our little ones. We had more than enough space to spread out and enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking easy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch while we played games, ate meals, read and just spent time together. We hope to be back in the future.

Wonderful relaxing family vacation

Beautiful home. Has everything you could want in the kitchen.Well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing. The cute little cabin worked perfect for our 5 family vacation, plenty of room for us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The swimming area was great, although we did have to rake all the leaves on the shoreline. The weather could of been better but plenty to do. Had a bad storm and lost power for almost a day and could not get a hold of the owner, but found a generator which was set up for back up, so no problem. No air conditioner but luckily the weather was on the cooler side. Overall a great stay and would definitely rent again!

Excellent stay

Dear Kevin, On behalf of my family I would like to give you our heartfelt thanks for providing us with your very well equipped property on Fence Lake. We enjoyed biking, paddle boating, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, corn hole, nightly fires in the fire pit and awesome food that your fully equipped kitchen let us prepare. The weather was wonderful with the exception of one night of rain. The town of Minocqua was close by and a joy to explore and replenish our food supplies. The house left us wanting for nothing. From kitchen utensils, pots and pans to bathrooms outfitted with towels and consumables and very comfortable furniture and bedding, my entire family was very impressed and wanted for nothing besides a couple more days at the lake. We also loved the Culligan water! Oh yes, the pontoon boat was a special treat! My brother Russ has his captain’s license and has been an avid boater his entire life. We got the chance to explore Fence lake and the surrounding lakes with great excitement and the wonder of adventure. We will keep you in our thoughts for our next family reunion. This property was great! Large living room/porch area and very clean inside. The dock and walk out beach area is great for families. The kitchen was equipped beautifully. Lots of salad/mixing bowls, cookware, dishes, glasses. Also included all needed soaps, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. plus spices, cooking oil and foil, saran wrap and plastic containers for leftovers. You don't need to bring a thing except your food! Only con is there is no dishwasher but it was no big deal.

Hide-a-Way bay is a true gem in the Northwoods! It boasts a huge lot that can accomodate big and/or multiple families. The property is nestled in a calm, small bay on the largest lake in the Northwoods which is connected to the desirable Flambeau Chain of Lakes to allow you to explore endless possibilities on the water. The sandy beach area is flat which is rare on this lake and is great for swimming. In addition to great swimming, great fishing awaits you right off the dock!
