This comfortable log home has been in the same family for 25 years. Located in highly desirable, gated Comanche Crossing in the very heart of Concan. It is one of the nicest riverside spots in Concan!

Inside the home there are gorgeous river, mountain and cliff views! Over 2 acres of flat, riverside bottom land for rivertime. Ancient cypress trees tower over the beautiful waterway that allows you to float from the 3rd crossing to your very own vacation home on the Frio River. Comanche Crossing is a gated neighborhood that's close to the Concan golf course and live music venue at the House Pasture, both a few minutes away.

Let's say it again - the location on the river is superb! Trulove Lodge is a log home that is perched atop highly desirable Comanche Crossing on the Frio River. It's a quick one minute walk to the river's edge. Rock steps lead down from the deck of the house to the river's edge. There is a large, flat field at the river's edge for fun activities like volleyball. Ancient cypress trees line the riverbank to provide cool shade and it's easy to get in and out of the rivers edge.

Overlooking the views you'll find plenty of deck space with lots of lounge chairs, tables and chairs, with a covered section of the deck that has a bar, bar stools and additional shaded lounge seating. The entire back of Trulove Lodge is a wide, covered patio with comfy rocking chairs and various outdoor seating. Check out the fun stuff that includes horseshoes, basketball hoop and (2) mini ping pong tables, plus cornhole! There's a second refrigerator on the back patio. A sunken fire pit on the deck adds to the night time ambience.

Step inside this large, rambling 7 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home and the first thing you'll notice is the wall of windows that overlook stunning river, mountain & cliff views. This rustic log cabin boasts a number of special touches that makes it truly special. The rooms are filled with thoughtfully treasures chosen by the owners for their relaxed Hill Country appeal. The open concept floor plan starts with comfy leather sofas and large custom built live-edge dining room table. The spacious kitchen is the center of the home, with a large kitchen island, second live-edge pantry table and vaulted ceilings with awesome views of the cliffs and mountain range.

There are (3) bedrooms each with king size beds for couples to really enjoy their vacation time. Bedroom 4 is a cool "sleeping porch" with four twin beds set within cozy log walls and meaningful rustic decor with authentic mountain appeal. Bedroom 5 overlooks the river with (2) sets of twin bunk beds and a twin daybed. The quaint, charming bedroom 6 is tucked discreetly behind antique french doors and has a queen bed. There's a staircase that leads upstairs to a loft (bedroom 7) which has an additional (5) twin beds. Most bedrooms have mountain range and cliff views.
