Sheets were dirty, tubs were dirty, hot tub had debris floating in it

We take cleanliness concerns seriously and review them carefully whenever they are brought to our attention. In this case, our records from the turnover prior to your arrival do not reflect the conditions described. All bed linens are professionally laundered off-site and fresh sheets are brought to the cabin for each new guest; linens are not washed or reused in the property. Our housekeeper also provided time-, date-, and location-stamped photographs from the cleaning completed the day before your arrival, and those photos show the tubs cleaned and ready for guests. We also had time, date and location stamped photos showing the hot tub was also drained, cleaned, sanitized, and refilled as part of the turnover process. Because hot tubs are outdoors, small amounts of natural debris can occasionally enter the water after servicing, but it had been fully cleaned and refreshed prior to check-in. We always want guests to contact us during their stay if something does not appear right so that we have the opportunity to inspect and address the concern immediately. Unfortunatley no calls were made and we were not given this opportunity.

Lovely location/view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ease of access and the property was beautiful. Our only complaint was the overall cleanliness of the house. There was dust/dirt caked on to the tops of items and lightswitch covers were dirty. Nothing a deep clean can't fix. we would still stay here again because everything else about the house was beautiful and everything we wanted for our vacation.

The Forest was with us ... and so was a Bear!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable, clean accomodations. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone (ages ranged from 69 to 7). Hosts were responsive and friendly. Power in the area went out a few days into our stay late in the evening but was restored a few hours later, thank goodness.Mattress on the main floor master bedroom needs to be replaced ... it’s pretty lumpy uncomfortable (springs broken?).Wonderful location and views from the inside and the balconys.

May the Forest Be With You

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great time at this cabin. Close enough to drive to the experiences we wanted, but far enough away to get the secluded cabin feel. We had a problem getting the TVs to work the first night, but was able to get in contact with the owners who were very quick to respond and help get them working and we had no other problems the rest of our stay. My family enjoyed the game loft, especially the air hockey table. Great place to stay with amazing views!

We enjoyed our stay at Forest be with you. The house was clean with nice views and nice seating outside. We enjoyed the game room. However, could not give a higher rating for these reasons: There was a water leak in the master bath in the middle of the ceiling which dripped to the floor and was not addressed, Be aware a starter set of supplies includes half rolls of toilet paper in each bath, less than half a roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods. To me, if you would like for me to keep your place clean, give me tools to do that, and dishwasher pods is a low price help. Poorly stocked flatware, poor storage for our goods Cob webs around. And although lovely, the house is beginning to show its age.

We are glad everything was found clean and exactly as advertised. While the dishwasher pods are likely accurate I went back and reviewed the HK photos prior to this stay and there were full rolls of TP And paper towels provided in addition to the partial rolls described. Starter packs are highly common for our area given the logistics associated with highly variable lengths of stays. Tough to get your rating dinged over something clearly listed as well as communicated clearly prior to arrival. We highly recommend reading the listing and the communications from your host in the future to ensure you can have that 5 star experience.

Great Cabin!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay here. Cabin is just as pictured and the views are fantastic - near to hiking and attractions, but far enough away to feel like you are out in the woods. It's at the top of a very steep mile-long paved road in a nice little neighborhood full of similar cabins, however you don't really notice the other houses when out on the decks. We had one rainy day, but we enjoyed the game tables, the hot tub and movie room - and even on a bad day, the views were still pretty good! The free tickets were easy to book and the third party ticket company was very accommodating when our booked park was closed due to high winds. Owners were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them about a few small maintenance issues.

Smokey Mountain Serenity: A Cozy Cabin Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay at May the Forest be with You was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views that greeted us—rolling mountains stretching as far as the eye could see. The cabin itself was a dream: spotlessly clean, warm, and inviting with a gorgeous fireplace that made our evenings so cozy and relaxing. The three spacious bedrooms were beautifully appointed, giving everyone in our group their own comfortable retreat. The hot tub was the cherry on top—soaking in it while surrounded by nature was pure bliss. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, making our stay feel luxurious yet homey. This cabin is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable getaway. Five stars all the way!
