Our love for Istria blossomed in unique ways. While Vela adored the coast from his childhood summers basking in the sun and waves, I only got to experience Istria in 2021. However, when I finally did, I instantly fell in love with the place. Living our dream, we relocated here and are delighted to share the Adriatic's charm with our guests.

Little Owl Estate began as a traditional Istrian stone house and barn that had been in ruins before 2007. In 2008, a couple took on the extensive project of completely renovating and modernizing the villa while preserving the charm and structure of the original building.
When we discovered the property, we recognized its full potential and dedicated ourselves to preserving the original Istrian wood and stone elements, incorporating modern touches to establish a welcoming, warm, and cozy ambiance.
