This was our second year visiting, and we really appreciate and love the new pier. The house offers everything needed to relax and vacation without going anywhere.

Awesome home in a relaxing environment. We enjoyed our last mini getaway of the summer as a family of four. We spent plenty of time in St Michael's- just a short 12 minute drive away- and enjoyed the quietness of Nesbit. The dock and canoe were wonderful for fishing and exploring while the pool was a fun afternoon for the kids. Highly recommend!

The house is in a very nice quiet neighborhood and was perfect for a long quiet weekend in St. Michaels. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfectly prepared home! Beautiful quiet community to relax and unwind. Our family enjoyed crabbing at the private dock, spending time on the water, and visiting nearby towns. The pool was nice, porch sitting was relaxing, and we even enjoyed evening campfires. The house was well accommodating with all we needed and more. Topher was an excellent host and tended to questions promptly and made sure we had everything we needed! Would definitely consider revisiting!

Charming quiet getaway in a tiny town outside St. Michael’s. Lovely home, well appointed and comfortable. Wish we could have used more of the outdoor amenities (weather was terrible). Would definitely come back when it was warmer. Loved sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning.

The property was well apportioned, spacious, clean and well maintained. The pool was a nice added touch, and we enjoyed it daily. The family had a wonderful time on our annual trip, and we cannot wait to stay again next year!

A great cottage!

A well-appointed home for a small group. Very clean, and the pool area is very well designed. Great location - quiet but close to everything in StM. I loved that crab pots were provided for the dock access.

Great Family Getaway

The house and location was perfect. We loved splashing in the pool, fishing, crabbing, and floating around Balls Creek. House had everything we needed and would definitely rent again

Great Stay!

Spacious rental was perfect for our stay. Our annual trip to the shore was upgraded this year at this home with a pool! AC works well, WIFI is strong, kitchen well appointed- even the knives were sharp!

Great spot for family weekend!

We loved the house - it was a perfect base for my brother and I to visit my sister (who lives in the area). We had lots of space indoors and outside, and the pool, kayak and paddleboard were all excellent ways to beat the late July heat. Hope we can visit again!

The pictures do not do the property justice. We traveled with plans for daily outings, so we were unable to enjoy the house as much as I would have liked. This house is perfect for a family vacation, a reading/writing retreat and weekend of scrapbooking. I slept in the bunk bed room. I haven't slept that well in years. It is so peaceful.St. Michaels's is lovely. There is a market on your way in, so you really could just grab groceries and spend the whole time hanging out in/near the house. I recommend exploring the area around the house on foot. The same can be said for St Michael's. I recommend checking out Jo Jo's Ice Cream, Olivin's Tasting Room and Book Hounds. Just in case you need more to do there are plenty of towns to explore, hiking and water activities. A few tips:-If you do take advantage of the kayak.... bring your own life jackets-I as well as my family are on ATT/CRICKET towers and we really struggled with signals. My family did okay on the house wifi. I have an old phone and could not get a signal even on the wifi. Signal strength was an issue throughout Md and into Del. I, fortunately, was able to use my phone hotspot and kept my laptop with me. -I recommend having back up directions if you plan to explore areas away from the house and St.Ms. We lost the GPS signal several times and utilized my hotspot/laptop. -When in doubt refer to the notes on the fridgeI hope to return with the plan to just hang out, read, eat and sleep. Eastern Shore Gem

Great property, extremely clean and exactly as pictured on listing. Host was responsive and check in and check out was a breeze. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet weekend away at the Eastern shore!

Despite how the listing appears (pictures and “Waterside” in headline), this is NOT waterside! Pleasant enough stay, but we had to do a bunch of cleaning upon arrival (owner’s hired cleaning service did a poor job - to owner’s credit, he tried to make it right by giving us access to his private cache of yard and water toys). Felt a bit bamboozled as the listing says it is on the water and makes it appear that it is on the water, but it is not, which left a bad taste in my mouth. House is across the street and set back from the road where they have a very small dock. Based on this, I would not have paid what I did for this place and would have chosen somewhere else. Having gotten past this, it was a pleasant enough stay, but house is just ok and cheaply constructed (master bath has no counter space, military-style shower, etc.). Nothing awful, just not as advertised and low frills - overpriced for what you get.

We’re sorry to hear—after the fact—that your stay was such a disappointment. We do respectfully disagree that our listing is misleading. We believe the photos and description accurately reflect the home’s layout, amenities, and overall character, and we’re not sure how we could describe it more clearly. As you can see in our photos, our property extends all the way to the water, where we recently installed a brand-new private dock. The dock is six feet wide and comfortably accommodates the folding rocking chairs we provide for guests to enjoy. Over the years, we’ve invested significantly in renovating and updating both the home and the grounds. The 1st floor bathroom is the final area remaining on our renovation list, and we look forward to completing that update as well. This bathroom is shown in our photos. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals ourselves, and we believe our home offers much more than basic accommodations. We take pride in sharing our property the same way we use and enjoy it with our own family, and we strive to provide a comfortable, well-equipped, and welcoming experience for every guest.

Girls weekend

Very nice property and neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the pool and water access. However we had ants in the kitchen and Wi-Fi didn’t work.

Thanks for your stay and feedback. Sorry we were not able to get the wifi working during the storm related outage in the area during your stay. The wifi is currently back on and strong as ever. We also found cereal under the refrigerator that was there for weeks causing the ant issue. The area is now clean and ant free! Super cute Neavitt stay!

Wonderful stay! Enjoyed everything about it. House had everything needed to prep meals , use the grill and the enjoy water sports! Having a pool was such a bonus and helped us relax and cool down.
