Location and Kindred Art

A relaxing fun location. Right on The doorstep of Life at The Beaches. As an artist great to work in an ex studio premises. Supplies nearby. Cafes, hair dresser acoiss the road, excellent. Pilates also and a chich around the corner. Close to the Lake and other tourist interests. Loved the street cars/tram going passed lots. The place was like having my own home.

Una ubicación privilegiada, a pasos de restaurantes y boutiques. El streetcar se toma apenas en la esquina , el anfitrión magnifica persona, muy amable, atento, y hasta una despensa tiene para recibirte. REALMENTE TE HACEN SENTIR QUE ESTÁS EN CASA FUERA DE TU CASA *LO RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE*

Excellent location with excellent access to public transportation

We felt the neighbourhood was extremely good, and close to the beach where we walked almost every day of our 70 day stay. Access to anything we wanted to buy was readily at hand. Dave & Val were extremely helpful when we had any request. The property is older, though, so expectations should be appropriate. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay there again, and I was glad that we chose this home.

Lovely Rental

Me and my 8year old just loved this rental. David and Valerie were wonderful hosts. Their flat was perfectly located to all amenities (library, restaurants, the beach, shopping…). The flat had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. All going well, we’ll be back next summer. Thank you David and Valerie for a wonderful stay!

Sanctuary at the beaches

What a wonderful apartment just two short blocks from the beach. Temperature was unseasonably high and above 25 each day. The apartment was clean and the air conditioning worked well. A narrow flight of stairs to go up but both Valarie and Dave offered to help with luggage. Both are very personable and authentically caring. I was shown through the apartment, had assistance with the overnight parking permit and bless their hearts, a few groceries for the morning. Parking is not hard, just make sure to read the signs. some sections are pay during the day and some are free during the day. The permit allows you overnight parking but make sure you don’t Park somewhere requiring day fees otherwise you will be up at 7 to move the car. I parked one block south and parallel to queen. Free day parking and I had the permit for overnight and There was always space. Lovely part of Toronto. Will stay again!

Perfect relaxing location!

If you need to relax (or work in peace) this apartment is the place for you! I want to stay here every time now! Here’s a few details: 1-best bed EVER! 2-full kitchen comes with fresh breakfast and beverage supplies! 3-best bed ever! 4-relaxing atmosphere 5-large dining table (I worked a 1000-piece puzzle on it and still had room) 6-best bed ever! I never wanted to get out if it 7-I always felt safe here 8-everything was modern and sparkling clean and comfortable 9-thank you!

The perfect home away from home

The owners have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as can be (with the exception of the beautiful antique settee in the living room). Great location for walks, exploring the neighbourhood and easy transportation to the rest of the city.

Excellent Toronto Property in a Great Neighborhood

Charming apartment in the "Beaches" neighborhood. Attentive host owners respond graciously to questions and needs. We arrived after a long travel and appreciated a warm welcome and food to meet our immediate needs. The apartment was decorated with copies of masterpieces by one of the owners, a renowned artist. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment. Its location on Queen Street could not have suited us better. Queen Street has all that one could ask for in restaurants and retail establishments. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Masterpiece Suite.

Such a pleasure to stay at the beach

This property is fantastic with every thing you could need while staying at the Beach. Parking is easy with a permit. The place is spotless and the king bed is divine! Loved exploring the area. So many spots to visit and places to get good food. Check in was easy and we really appreciated the breakfast food that was provided. Highly recommended and we hope to stay again in the future.

As advertised

Great neighbourhood. Convenient to the beach and a variety of restaurants. Also good access to the Queen Street trolly which takes you directly into the downtown. The suite was clean and we appreciated the fridge being stocked with breakfast food for the morning. Loved the King size bed.

Loved Toranto

Was just a nice cozy apt to stay while we explored the city. Walking distance to Lake Ontario, and trolley. We parked our car and took the trolley to explore the city. Would stay here again. Very clean and comfortable.

We felt like locals

The bed was amazingly comfortable, as was the bedding! It was like sleeping in a luxury hotel. The apartment had all the amenities, including breakfast food for a couple days! There is a wonderful cafe next door and the beach is just a couple short blocks away. The street car stop is right on the corner. We absolutely loved staying in The Beaches neighborhood for 5 days and would definitely come back. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed.

very nice but could be better

The apartment was quite comfortable, but renters should be aware that there is a fairly steep flight of stairs to navigate' There is no air conditioning but several nice fans. There were no drawers or bedroom shelves dedicated for clothing but good closet hanging space. We appreciated the breakfast foodstuffs that were provided(bread,butter, eggs,yoghurt,orange juice,milk and cereal). Because we did not have internet or phones that worked on our trip, we had a small communication problem while on route but this was no fault of our hosts. We accidentally bumped into the owner of the art store below the apartment who was prepared to let us in and settled. Chen(?) was delightful to deal with. The area is delightful with many good shops and restaurants. The 501 streetcar stops right in front. We ate everyday in neighborhood restaurants and were satisfied and often delighted at every turn. Definitely recommend and hope to revisit this vibrant part of the city.

This is a home away from home!

If you want a very nice suite in a beautiful neighbourhood and close to the beach, this is it. I arrived very late at night, after a very stressful day and long flight, and I was so grateful to see a fridge with some breakfast food in it, including cream for my coffee for the next morning. This suite is perfect for a few people and the owners respond immediately to any questions or concerns. There’s even detailed instructions for the tv remotes and the suite manager makes sure you know where everything is. I loved the back, private, secure, patio areas to relax in the sun or shade. I highly recommend this suite and I look forward to booking it every year!

Perfect for our needs.

This was a great property for our needs as we were visiting family who lived just 3 blocks away. This property is well maintained and very clean. The king size bed was nice and comfortable. The provision of basic breakfast food was a nice and welcome touch. Thank you.

It was perfect place to relax.

We were between train trips around Canada and wanted something just outside of the city. The Beaches neighbor is a wonderful place to do this. The suite is much larger than the photos depict, so we space to ourselves. Valerie and David were attentive to any inquiries we had. Even though our train was late getting in, it was easy to let David know. Then, he let his employee know we were on our way. They left us everything for breakfast and good recommendation for dinner in the neighborhood. It was a lovely escape!

Great accomodation for our needs

Great location and very clean property. The air conditioner is a bit of a struggle to get to the front of the property so living area was very warm and it was noisy for sleeping. Overall it was a 4 for this time of the year.

Wonderful Experience!!

My wife and I had an amazing anniversary trip in Toronto, and our stay here was wonderful!! The owners were so gracious and helped with any questions. They helped with purchasing a parking permit and I was able to park just around the corner. They also had stocked the fridge with lots of goodies. The apartment was beautifully decorated with his artwork (Native American theme). It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and we caught the Toronto transit just down the street to explore the downtown area. You do need to go up a flight of steps, so keep that in mind if you have difficulty walking. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Toronto!! Thank you for making our 20th anniversary trip wonderful!!

long weekend break in Toronto

The apartment is very well fitted out, with quality appliances, bedding and towels. The property owners are very kind and thoughtful, they provided a good array of breakfast supplies and willingly organised a car parking permit for us. The apartment has it's own entrance for easy access and there are a good range of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Getting into downtown Toronto is easy and cheap using the tram service that passes by. Well worth a visit!

This apartment had everything we need for our long weekend in Toronto. Lots of restaurants and shops and streetcar right there. Very close to the beach. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful hosts.

Beautiful Space

When I told me wife I had booked a flat above a gallery on Queen East she wondered if both the Ritz and the Four Seasons were sold out. Was I ever relieved when she loved the flat. A minor issue or two were taken care of immediately by David and Valerie. We'll be back.

Perfect location

Apartment was clean and welcoming. With the bedroom in the back it made for a quiet nights sleep. Kitchen had everything we needed and came stocked for our first breakfast. Perfect location at the beaches and you can catch the trolley downtown just outside the front door. Cafe right next door. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
