Excellent home and location!

The house and property are great! Right on the beach and a short 500m walk to the town Centro. The locals are amazing and so was their food and hospitality. Our house staff were also great! Cooked for us when requested, grounds kept in great condition and rooms cleaned daily.

Troncones getaway

There were 11 of us, friends and families. Our fifth year in Troncones. We loved the shaded palapa, rooms were great, especially the two on the ground floor tha were used by our less mobile couples. The hot showers were hit or miss, but the outdoor temp was in the 80’s and lukewarm was good. We loved Marbella and had her as chef for us 6 of 10 nights. So easy!! And great food. We will be back again. Thank you Alex for being responsive to our questions.

Please keep up this beautiful house

The pictures on the listing definitely need to be updated, for the most part the property is the same but it’s hasn’t been maintained properly, there’s a lot of lights that don’t work or the switches don’t work, microwave doesn’t work, cooking stoves are in very poor condition we planned to cook big Family meals and purchase pricey seafood and we lost most of it including milk the fridge is old and doesn’t cool properly or it closes all the way , landscape needs work , after being outside all day we planned to have games in the living room but air conditioners don’t work we inquired about it and we were told that they haven’t worked for a long time! So we couldn’t hang out inside as a family and visit , pool lights are also broken , linens could be replaced with newer ones , it’s a beautiful house but whoever manages it needs to get it together so people are not disappointed when they rent it, a little disappointed but we still had a wonderful time, the contact number we had was disconnected also he did answered our emails.

Perfect for a family reunion!

This place was perfect for our group of 15 for a week. The rooms were very spacious, the ACs worked well, and showers were very powerful. The location is perfect, right on the beach and very close to town where there are restaurants and a few stores. Marbella was a fabulous cook and we highly recommend, especially if you have a large group. We would love to visit again!

Troncones 2020

Casa Luna Del Mar was everything we hoped for and more! The property is beautiful and well maintained. Alex was always quick to respond to all my questions. The rooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend it to friends and family.

Troncones wedding

We booked casa Lina Del Mar for guests for our wedding. Alex was so flexible and accommodating to changes in dates and people as we got organized. He was easy to communicate with and the location and house were beautiful! Our guests loved their stay!! We’d go back for sure!

Beautiful property, great location

Casa Luna property is perfect for three to four families to function and still have privacy and quiet time. The location is great, close to town but a few blocks away from core. The beachfront grounds are wonderful complete with your own private beach area and outdoor kitchen area/giant palapa is where we all spent allot of time.

Quiet town, beautiful beach, great food!

This property is wonderful! Close to everything, walk to restaurants, stores, the beach is right out your door. This little town is perfect for a very relaxing vacation! I honestly don’t want to give it such a good review for fear of too much tourism, it is still so small and relaxed. Definitely going back!

Wonderful for a large group

This was the perfect house and area for our family of 21. The house is better than the pictures show. The outdoor kitchens, especially the large one, were perfect for games, eating, drinking, etc. The pool was used often but the waves in the ocean were LOVED by my family. They played in them for hours. The turtle rescue spot next door was a highlight as was riding on the beach. The proximity to the town was a plus. And hiring a cook was a stroke of genius for true relaxation. Perfect!

Just amazing

Casa Luna del Mar in Troncones was a fantastic experience. We rent high rise condos in Ixtapa which we love very much, but this was a particularly memorable stay on a different, but equally wonderful beach. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Troncones and the surrounding area again, and we just loved Casa Luna del Mar. The architecture was beautiful, as was the beach in front of the condo. Walking fifty paces on the beach gives you access to some lovely waves that are perfect for boogie boarding and just playing in the water. Marbella who takes care of the home was always fantastic and helped us with anything we needed. I just can't say enough about our stay. A big thanks to Alex for trusting us with part of his home! :)

Great for Large Families

Our group of 10 had an amazing time at this home. Plenty of room and spaces for everyone: private and group. The beach right in front is a bit rocky so you will need to wear beach shoes to explore the area. Sandy beaches are about 10 yards away. Marbella is very helpful and willing to cook all meals upon request. The kitchen is outside which sometimes gets annoying if the wind kicks up. There is no indoor kitchen available. Barbecue is also available. Overall, great property, great location, easy to book. Mr. Luna quickly replied with needed information. About 25 minutes out of Ixtapa. THANK YOU!

Highly recommended!!

This place is amazing!!! When I started planning my vacations with my sister and a friend, we were looking for a place where we could have a nice time, relax and enjoy of a few days away from work. Being in Troncones Mexico, but specially in this place, was the best decision we made. We had a great time, and certainly, exceeded our expectations. Casa Luna del Mar has a lot of details that made of our days and nights one of the best vacations we've ever had. This place is perfect to relax and to have a good time with your family and friends. The beach is amazing and watching the turtles trying to get to the ocean, it was a very nice experience. I am really thankful with the staff of Casa Luna del Mar and for sure, we will come back soon!! The rooms, the pool, and the palapa just next to the beach are perfect!! And I really enjoyed cooking with my sister and at the same time having an amazing view to the beach! I am really happy because we found in this place everything we were looking for our vacations!! I am sure you won't regret to choose Casa Luna del Mar as the place to stay in your next vacations.

Beautiful, tranquil beachfront casa.

My wife and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary. This is a well appointed, beautifully designed and maintained multi-suite beachfront home. There are 6 suites other than the owners unit. My wife and I had one of the upstairs suites, which had a wide open view of the ocean. All suites have a mini-fridge, air conditioning if needed, and sizable bathrooms. The suites are well appointed, beds quite comfortable etc. There are two outdoor kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs, with full sets of cookware and place settings. There is also a nice outdoor grill. There is a groundskeeper/host and a cleaning person that watch the property every day and will attend to your needs if you would like a meal cooked for you. We had them prepare an excellent anniversary comida for us. However, be prepared to speak mainly Spanish with them. They don't speak much English. The ocean is a bit rough for swimming in Troncones, but there is a nice sized (unheated) pool. All in all, my wife and I felt quite well cared for staying in this beautiful property.

JUST AMAZING
