Monos is our jungle-immersion cabin at Feeling Trees Jungle Lodge: a private home tucked deep into the trees in Cabuya, on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula, where the wildlife comes to you.
It sleeps three, with 71 Mbps fiber wifi, a dedicated workspace, air conditioning, a full kitchen and a balcony that looks straight into the forest.
It offers what few places in Cabuya can: a jungle pool, one of the very few in the area, and a calm Pacific beach a short walk away. Even the stroll there, past monkeys and birds, is part of the trip, and at low tide you can walk out to Isla Cabuya.
You're at the edge of Cabo Blanco, the country's first nature reserve, in one of the last quiet corners of the peninsula. Think dense jungle, empty beaches and a sky thick with stars, with Montezuma 7 minutes away and Santa Teresa about 20.
Our team can set up a guided wildlife hike in Cabo Blanco, a horseback ride to hidden waterfalls or a snorkeling trip.

Hi, I'm Adara. I'm the daughter of the owners of Feeling Trees, an architect, and someone who's happiest surrounded by nature and quiet.
I'm originally from Córdoba, Argentina, and six years ago I made Costa Rica my home. I fell in love with it for exactly what you'll find here: the green, the calm, and the pura vida way of taking life a little more gently. As an architect, I've always been drawn to spaces that invite you to slow down and breathe.
I put that same care into every corner of our cabins, so that from the moment you arrive you feel at home and truly connected to the nature around you.

Cabuya is a tiny, peaceful village at the very tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, right beside Cabo Blanco, Costa Rica's first nature reserve.
We chose it because it's one of the last stretches of coast that still feels untouched. No crowds, no noise. Just jungle, wildlife, and a quiet Pacific beach a short walk away. Howler monkeys wake you in the morning, and the night sky here is unforgettable.
It's also perfectly placed. Montezuma and its waterfalls are about 7 minutes away, and the surf and cafés of Santa Teresa around 20, close enough for a day trip but far enough to keep the calm.
This is the Costa Rica we fell in love with, and the reason we decided to build here.
