Enjoy this 3rd floor tastefully decorated queen bed, balcony suite overlooking Honolulu Zoo, & Queen Kapiolani Park. Offers a well equipped kitchenette with apartment size fridge freezer and brand new A/C unit.

We are located just above Hulas Bar & Lei stand at The Waikiki Grand Hotel - Being a bar this unit will hear bar noise etc. and has been priced accordingly.

● Waikiki Grand Hotel Plumbing Construction Notice:
To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.

Convenient location within walking distance to restraunts,shopping and the beach. Easy check in process and people at check in desk were all very friendly and helpful. However, having the bar directly below us playing loud music until 2 am every night was not enjoyable. The host did provide ear plugs because of that, which I did use.

Great location in relation to the beach! Loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops along Waikiki Beach. As stated in the posting, located above a bar, so loud music and rowdy crowd outside until late into the night (we didn’t have an issue but lighter sleepers may be kept up). Well-stocked kitchenette with full-sized fridge, two-plate cooktop, pot, skillets, and utensils. Overall pretty clean other than a bit of hair around the apartment. Shower rarely got warm, water pressure wasn’t great, and drained very slowly such that you were often standing in a couple inches of water. Apartment had beach towels and bath towels, outdoor chairs (what I would consider camping chairs, not beach chairs), one boogie board, a beach mat, a beach umbrella, and a small clip on umbrella for a chair. Also, not about the condo, but the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!Tl/dr: the location relative to the beach and having a guaranteed place to park (paid) was very worth the price we paid for this location!

The hosts were very welcoming and answered all my questions. The let down is the cost of parking per night but this is standard across Honolulu. It's a perfect location.

There were many good things about this stay! Friendly hosts, beach chairs, a good shower. When I told the front desk that our sheets were old and ‘Bally’, they brought us newer ones! So nice! The one thing that can’t be helped is the traffic noise on the busy street outside our 3rd floor balcony. Sirens, loud music, trucks, were so loud. There are ear plugs provided. The AC noise helps drown it out.

I enjoyed staying at this place, a little small for the price but loved the location, a couple things to fix at the condo, shower water knob loose, needs adjusting, dirty ceiling fan, everything else was great!

Great location!

The studio/property is close to the beach, the zoo, and all the shops and restaurants in Waikiki. And it was a great price, clean and had all the amenities that we needed for our stay.

Great stay! It had a beautiful view (its facing the zoo), easy check in/check out, less than a block from the beach, tons of shopping and restaurants close by, comfy bed, had everything we needed! We knew from reading reviews that it was over a bar, but with the ac running, it wasnt a big deal. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great location. East Waikiki. From balcony could see Dimondhead behind zoo and to right beach / beautiful water. Enjoyed Hulus gay bay in hotel. All kinds of restaurants in area.

Heavenly getaway

This little slice of heaven was just what mu husband and i needed. The check in process was easy, the apartment was clean and cute. It has a gorgeous view of the ocean and the zoo right off the balcony. We stayed for a week and were able to see so much due to its convenient location to everything! Wonderful stay, would do it again!

The room was very nice. Just a warning that this is directly above a bar with quite the nightlife. The balcony is right above the bars open wall. Fun but can be loud at night. I used my sound machine and was fine. Perfect location. So close to the beach and everything Waikiki has to offer.

Loved it - best location!

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was perfect for the two of us, and the location just couldn’t be beat. We were able to walk to diamond head, the beach, and anywhere in Waikiki without problem. The noise other reviews have stated was never too bad or an issue, but that could also be us just being young haha! The property manager was so kind and helpful as well. Totally recommend!

Great property, close to the beach and stores and restaurants. It is above Hula's bar which can be loud some nights and really nice music or open mikes some nights. Our room was a VRBO and had everything we needed for 8 days except the microwave didn't work but we managed with pots and pans. Also, we only got a towel exchange once which was fine for the bathroom towels but beach towels every other day would have been better. View of the zoo and the ocean. Busy road out front but always entertaining to people watch and it quites down by 10:30pm.would stay in this building again.

Great property with exceptions

Really nice place. Clean, great location, and nice staff. The room was smaller then anticipated and the noise from the nightclub was overwhelming most nights for a few hours. We will stay here again, but not above the club. Even with good earplugs, the noise kept us awake.

We were in 309 right over night club which was extremely loud with thumping bass until 2am every morning. The place was quite dirty, the air conditioner blew right on head in bed. AC Filter needed changing. Balcony was very small with old table and chairs etc. It was also loud with traffic noise from quite early every morning. The last morning bathtub backed up and couldn’t take shower. Worst place we have ever stayed! The location was good close to beach and restaurants etc. but not a place we would book again.

Accurate

The listing was very accurate. The bar downstairs is a little noisy but I just turned the TV on until I fell asleep. The bar is only open til 11 on week days so not that bad. The bed was comfortable and the location was great. If you have a vehicle be sure to reserve the parking garage spot or you'll be searching for a parking spot. The zoo is a great place to park after 8 pm. I'd definitely book this spot again.
