Family vacation at the Lake

We loved the place!!! There was plenty of room for all of us and the view was breathtaking!!! Plan on staying again in the future!

Good property

We had a wonderful stay at lake, Walloon and White Anchor. While it is an older property, what’s not to love about the location. Thanks for a great stay.

A good place for the week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, White Anchor Lodge was a great place for our family to stay for the week at Walloon. There was plenty of room for our group of 14 people and we loved the dock and access to the lake. The porch/balcony was a wonderful place to watch sunrises and sunsets. We had a lot of fun playing yard games, as well. My only criticisms are that it was not ready at 4pm as we were told it would be. The cleaners were still there and my mother-in-law was asked to finish up some laundry that was still being done. We were also unable to find washcloths, but that was an easy fix at the store. Overall, I would recommend it as a place to spend time at Walloon Lake.

It was clear view from the cabin to the lake.Limited seating area on the deck. Would have liked a table out there.An older cabin with plenty of room.

The house was in a wonderful location on the lake and nearby both Petoskey and Walloon Village and the porch/waterfront was perfect. The layout of the house was a bit odd just with where the rooms/bathrooms were located, but overall it was fantastic1 We would definitely come back!

Great Location Needs Repairs & Updates

We stay on Walloon every year, and we loved the idea of this cabin. Although it was spacious, we were disappointed with the condition of the house and furnishings for the premium price. The dock was very nice. The management company was great about responding when the fuses blew and sent a company to clean the porch so we could use it. We would rent again possibly if it had a thorough cleaning and broken furniture replaced.

White Anchor Lodge--July 2023

White Anchor Lodge is a nice old lodge well maintained and comfortable. It has a large lake front property with a large dock. There is not much of a sandy beach but the water around the dock is very shallow with a sandy bottom. The kitchen has all necessary cooking utensils and plenty of room as indicated in the overall description. The towels and linens are very nice and there are plenty of beach towels as well. Vacations properties was very responsive and answered all questions and solved issues as they arose. Our point of contact, Danielle, was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Overall, my family had an outstanding week at White Anchor Lodge on Waloon Lake.
