Cherry Street Guesthouse with private wooded yard & firepit, 3 blocks to town!

Our guesthouse is always spotless when a guest checks in. I suppose that makes it sufficient. As to the outside ground conditions, we lost a tree in a recent storm & was in the process of being removed. This does not affect access & the grounds are always well maintained. The full bathroom which includes a toilet, sink & walk in shower as well as great lighting, vanity & full length mirrors & built in shelving for towels & supplies is attractive & efficient. The a/c remote needed new batteries. We would have addressed this if you had contacted us. Even tho you acknowledged the lack of tv was not an issue, you clearly knew that when you read the amenity list & subsequently reserved the property. Apparently, your early exit had nothing to do with the guesthouse. Your ambiguous and innaccurate review as well as any communication whatsoever causes us to question your desirability as a guest.

As is disclosed in the listing, TV is not an amenity. The shower does not drip at all if turned off properly. An a/c remote is available to control the a/c. We have never had a lighting complaint. Several well placed ceiling lites & 2 table lamps & a floor lamp plus bright lites in the kitchen & bath provide excellent lighting. The bed is not old nor saggy. We could not address the internet as we were not informed of any problem. It has an excellent speed & signal with the latest modem. Tenants are sent a QR code and network name & password prior to their arrival. The guesthouse is furnished with high quality comfortable & contemporary furniture which was purchased 3 years ago when we opened the guesthouse. Trash container is perfectly visible next to the deck. The listing informs potential guests of the kitchenette, not a full kitchen. It contains microwave, toaster oven, fridge, multi burner hot plate with pans, electric coffee maker, hot water teapot, & sufficient kitchen utensils, knife set, cooking pots, glassware & dishes. It has an 8 ft. counter and a Weber grill is available. The complaints contained in this review totally & factually inaccurate and inconsistent with our Premier Host status. Accordingly, we are suspect of the motive that could be the basis for this frivolous & inaccurate review. Therefore, we must request that this guest be identified as a highly questionable renter. Since we did not have any communications from this guest notwithstanding our attempts to check in with him, we are requesting that our previous rating on him on overall experience & communication be amended to a non-acceptable classification. It is significant to note that there is a printed notice on the living room wall stating both our cell numbers informing them to contact us at any time with concerns or questions. We would not recommend this guest.
