We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is truly something special — 500 acres of peaceful beauty, incredible trails, and the kind of seclusion that lets you completely unplug and reconnect with the people you’re with. You can tell so much love and care was poured into this place. From quiet mornings to exploring the trails and soaking in nature, it was exactly what we needed. We made so many wonderful memories here and will absolutely be coming back again!

The cabin was nice and quiet. We just wish the trails were more accessible. It was very peaceful. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the mornings.

Quiet & relaxing

This was a beautiful property if your looking for piece & quiet. It was the best 4 days I’ve had in a long time. Enjoying evenings around the bonfire listening to the creek run along with other nature sounds.

Perfect Place to Land

Traveling as a family of 5 is tough to plan and our teens are too big to share hotel spaces these days. Our stay was perfect for our family. The property is magic and our teens spent a lot of time exploring the trails and creek. We would love to come back when we can stay longer. So peaceful and just right for us!

Good time

The cabin was very larger the pictures don’t do justice. It was pretty beautiful out there day and night but at night was the most stars I’ve ever seen in a clear night sky.

The owner was exceptionally easy to communicate with and very prompt with her responses. The only negative was that it took 2 days for the A/C to catch up to a comfortable level. It was a comfortable cabin in the woods. Very peaceful.

Communication was excellent. Darcy had contacted me a few hours before check-in letting me know that the refrigerator wasn’t keeping cold and they were having a new one delivered and just wanted to make sure that it was delivered basically before I had arrived. By the time we got there, it had been delivered and was hooked up and cold. Absolutely beautiful property. That nighttime sky and the stars are unforgettable.

Wonderful accommodations! Charming area, as well. If you arrive after dark, turn right just before the red Third Hollow Farm sign. If you plan on cooking, there are only pots and pans. Bakeware, bowls and ice were missing. There's no dishwasher and no instructions on the dishwashing. We washed them and left them to dry in the sink. There were ants, but it was raining a lot and that might have pushed them to higher ground. There are two bedrooms, two full baths and plenty of open space. The furniture is comfortable. We enjoyed going into Garrison for groceries and eating at the Short Stop (you've got to check it out - it's open 24 hours for short-order food). We plan on returning!!
