Lovely and very close to (literally in) downtown Harper’s Ferry. The inn sits directly across the street from the train station and tracks, so you hear loud trains all night (host provided earplugs but trains are pretty loud).

Perfect location and the accommodations were inviting, roomy and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and were very pleased with the suite.

Incredible location and property

Our trip to Harpers Ferry was one of the best we've had in recent memory, and this property is a big reason why. Its cozy feel and perfect location make this an easy recommend for anyone interested in taking a trip to the area.

It was great being right in the heart of Harpers Ferry, with easy access to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed hiking and taking in the scenery around the area. The train station location was convenient for our arrival, but a little loud - there's nothing like getting woken up by a train in the middle of the night (which we were warned of before arrival, so no surprises). The room was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. Thank you for making our trip a memorable experience!

My husband and I had a nice day in Harpers Ferry. Enjoyed watching the trains come into the station, great location with restaurants nearby.

Everything is within walking distance. Cozy and warm. A place where you are in the house in a train garden.

It was clean and very convenient location. It was great to have a parking space. The noise from the trains in the night prevented us from sleeping. A train went by every two hours.

Guest reserved a room ACROSS FROM THE TRAIN STATION and the complained about the trains? Please READ the details BEFORE you reserve a room. Had you contacted us, we could have explained that the bedroom door provides a buffer if closed and the ear plugs are in the bedside table drawers.

Very pleased

Had a great weekend stay about as close as you can get to the historic Harpers Ferry location. Pretty cool to stay in such an historic building in an area of such rich history. Suite was clean & had everything we needed. Check in was smooth and simple. The multiple freight trains going past were long & loud, but that added to the uniqueness of the location/experience. Would definitely recommend.

Location was great, room was very nice.What wasn't mentioned:- If you stay in the Ohio Suite, the parking location is VERY VERY TIGHT due to the fact that there is a street pole directly behind you. If you have a large car or truck, good luck.- Also, the Train comes through pretty much every hour and blows the horn VERY LOUD starting at 7:00 and ending around 10:00 pm.

Perfect Location

Park your car in the provided spot and walk everywhere. This apartment was exactly as advertised. Great communication from host. If you love trains, this is the place for you - the front porch overlooks the train station. As mentioned in listing, the trains are loud but a unique touch in this historic town inn.

Truly the best location for a stay!

Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. Within two blocks, you have several options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a great cup of coffee, or a treat for the kids. Fishing along the Shenandoah is also within walking distance. The Potomac across the street is actually within Maryland's border so be careful if you have a WV license. The building is secure, and I truly have no complaints.

Excellent communication with property manager.Excellent location. Close to everything you need in Harpers Ferry. Free parking. The trains didn’t bother us at all, and in fact reinforced the historical nature of this quaint community.Mattress 6/10.Older properties, unfortunately, require a lot of maintenance and upkeep.However, keeping it clean and clear of dust dirt insect droppings and cobwebs-would be expected. I would recommend deep cleaning at intervals.Caulking, spackling, updating bathroom and kitchen plumbing features is recommended and those are relatively inexpensive fixes.Perhaps choosing cleaning products that are more natural and friendly to the nose would also help eliminate some of the musty smells associated with older buildings.Thank you.
