**Please note that the lot next door is currently under construction. Construction can begin at 7 am and ends by 5 pm. As of 6/9/2025, the home is framed and the majority of the loud noise is done.**

You will fall in love with this beach home-away-from-home! This 2 bedroom beach cottage has all you need to enjoy a relaxing and elevated vacation experience in the quieter neighborhood of the North Pacific Beach community. Whether you're traveling near or far, you will feel right at home and right at ease in this comfortable space. Grassy yards are hard to come by around the beach, and this home has two! Sip your morning coffee on the front porch entertained by people-watching, then head to the backyard in the afternoon to grill up some lunch and sip cocktails out back. Maybe a round or two of connect four with family and friends. Make the quick 5 minute walk to the beach in the late afternoon to catch the spectacular San Diego sunsets. This will be your new favorite beach home coastal escape.

We are pet friendly! We welcome 1 dog to accompany your stay (non-shedding, less than 25lbs).
A $200 non-refundable pet fee will be added on to your reservation.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
Neighborhood Notes:
Pacific Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Pacific Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Attention:
This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

Perfect location!

Stayed here for my wedding weekend and it was better than I could have imagined! All the girls got ready at the house and it was big enough for all of us to get ready comfortably (6 girls). The place was very comfortable and in such a convenient location. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to in PB. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Great Stay

We absolutely loved our stay here! You can't beat the location from Pacific Beach, just a block and a half away. We love drinking our coffee in the backyard in the mornings and being able to walk over to the beach to see if the sunset was any good or not. We were here over the 4th of July so everything was super crowded, but it didn't feel that way here at the house. Loved that there was a long enough driveway to fit both of our vehicles. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the property, loved the location. Steps from the beach, quiet at night . Only negative (and this is out of control of the property manager) is that we couldn't use the beautiful outdoor space during the day because of construction noise from the home behind the property.

Always a Special Place

This was our ninth extended stay and, as always, we loved it! 821 is such a warm, inviting and comfortable home with all the amenities you need … clean, well-appointed, comfortable seating and beds, well-equipped kitchen, excellent internet service, lovely fenced backyard, off-street parking, only a block to the beach, and an easy walk to all that PB has to offer. It would be hard to find a better place.

Efficient little house in Pacific Beach. Close to the beach. Centrally located. Easy to get to La Jolla, Downtown SD, Coronado, etc. All the essentials in the kitchen. Nice fenced back yard for our pup. Perfect for a week away from home and to explore the city.

Perfect Beach House

We have stayed at this property several times over the years and keep coming back. The location is great being just one block from the beach and a few blocks from all the shops and restaurants. They recently updated the interior which turned out nice. Kitchen is well stocked and having private parking and the garage for storage is extremely convenient. We would highly recommend this property.

Great vacation, awesome location!

I take my family to San Diego just about every year. I have to say that this rental was the best one we have stayed in. The place was clean and fully stocked w/ anything we might need. We cooked at home a few nights and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We also loved the fact that we could use the grassy backyard for barbequing and hanging out. The location is right in the mix of some of the best restaurants and activities. Drift was exceptional to work with and made our trip extremely enjoyable. We will be back!

Great Vacation House

Perfect location. Cute house that looks recently remodeled. Has AC, fans in every room, windows open with screens. Walk in shower has 2 heads and loads of pressure to tidy up from the beach. Outdoor shower to rinse off as well is a nice feature. Kitchen is well supplied. The TVs do have Rokus attached so you can stream content. Garage is stocked with beach toys, beach chairs, an umbrella or two, and one boogie board. Was hoping for more, but there are several rental shops right around the corner. All in all, very satisfied with the property. Would stay again. You cant get much closer to the beach and all the shops and restaurants are entirely walkable.

Beautiful, quaint, well appointed and CLOSE to beach!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Only snafu was the shower drain clogged first use, causing entire bathroom to flood. The steam caused the smoke alarm to trigger and wouldn't stop even after 10 minutes. Reported via text to management and the maintenance man was on site within 10-15 minutes to repair. Otherwise, we had an excellent stay. The backyard was nice for the kids to play when we weren't at the beach. Loved the outdoor string lights. Half of them weren't working, or we could never figure out how to turn them on. We forgot an iPad when we checked out and were informed later that day by management by text. Crisis averted! Very convenient method of communication...

Loved this home

We had a few issues from the beginning. However this being our 2nd time staying at this home BUT the first time with the new Vacasa management. The good is this home is adorable, great location, perfect backyard, close to beach, and restaurants. Those are the reasons we rented this home for a 2nd time. The bad and the horrible of our stay. On our first day the ceiling fan did not work and did not work for our week stay then later the shower got clogged and flooded the bathroom then later that night while doing a load of laundry the washer started flooding into the kitchen and then the sewage backed up into the kitchen sink and the washer ruining all our clothes. The house smelled like well sewage. Thank god we were leaving the next day. Please make sure all appliances are working because our last day was horrible. Also beware of bugs and rodents running around the backyard. The banana trees really need to be cut back so that you don’t get rats or oppussums … pretty creepy. Vacasa did not take care of the issue that was immediately reported and we have yet to hear back from them. So good luck if you rent a home from them and something goes wrong. I am leaving this comment public since we are waiting for some sort of acknowledgment maybe this will trigger it. The house is great location perfect but there are issues that need to be addressed and taken care of. Thank you

I'd Do It Again

A nice home in a great location. Clean and comfortable. The back yard is lovely and was a perfect space to entertain our elderly pup. We were able to use the outdoor grill for a meal.... all the conveniences of a home away from home. We'd definitely look to stay in this home again.

Great location

The house has an amazing location and was very well stocked with a super cute backyard. There were a couple small things that we contacted Vacasa about, like the bathroom sink not really draining, but unfortunately didn’t get any help from them.
