Unique house, was great for kids. Enjoyed the scavenger hunt, we didn’t get to finish it. Rooms were all uniquely decorated.

This house is designed to provide hours of fun for everyone -- in addition to the Harry Potter theme and escape rooms the pool table was a lot of fun. It is well furnished and very comfortable for a large group.

Once you step into the house you feel transported to another time and place. Tons of things to see and places to explore. My whole family enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the two escape rooms. We all had a great weekend!

Harry Potter Adventure

They have put so much effort into making this feel like a Harry Potter experience. Loved the scavenger hunt and the escape room components of our stay.

A Wizards Paradise!

This house truly is magical - the attention to wizarding details is unlatched - with plenty to keep busy just enjoying the house. Would definitely recommend to both wizards & muggles alike!

Had a Wonderful Time

This property is very unique and spacious. The room both inside and outside of the building accommodates a wide range of activities. Escape Room was challenging and fun. I have recommended this property to a couple friends already.

Family getaway

Our family had such magical time at the property! Each room was full of surprises and little details for the Harry Potter lover! Our favorite room was the potion room! We had such fun participating in the scavenger hunt and of course the escape room! Nate and his team did a fantastic job! Thank you!!

Amazing Surprise Birthday Getaway

This property is amazing for Harry Potter fans and anyone who’s not. I booked the house with a group of friends for a surprise 30th birthday party. There were 15 in our group and the house was huge so there was plenty of room for everyone! We thoroughly enjoyed going through the different rooms of the house and exploring all the intricate details. Each room is decorated in a different Harry Potter theme and it was so fun to look at all the magical details. The owner Nate was really friendly and helpful with the themed escape room and scavenger hunt. The house was well appointed and everyone slept comfortably! I definitely recommend and would love to come back.

Stay away

- 1 star Giant trash dump in front of the house and the in outdoor entertainment area - 1 star massive amount of flies around the trash and ease they entered the house - 1 star Padlock and fence around pool and outside entertainment area on a $750 a night rental. - 1/2 star No conditioner, shampoo, mixing bowls, salt, pepper or any kitchen supplies outside of the bare basics - 1/2 star No fly swatter to kill all the bugs

Obviously a muggle who doesnt like witches and wizards. How bout you have your crew not pee in the yard and use the bathroom like normal people. There is no trash except your items. I have over 50 5* reviews on air and google. There have never been fly's in the house. The listing clearly states the pool is an add on fee and no where did we say we supply shampoo. Why then did you add a 2nd night because you liked it?

Surprises around every corner

This property was truly a unique experience with something for every age group. There was so much room for everyone and we were all able to hang out together or separate to our own space all with our own bathroom. We had all age groups from 10-48 and everyone enjoyed so much about their stay. We all loved the escape room and had so many good laughs while completing that. Just roaming the house and looking at all the details was fun. The teens loved the Alexa and not only that it played Harry Potter music throughout the house but also that they could play their music and dance through the halls. The scavenger hunt was so much fun and we found everything except one item and I will have to return next year just to find that final item as it will haunt me hahaha The host was great. He communicated things as the trip went so it was all a surprise and not all just dumped on you at once and overwhelmed you. The place was spotless and all furnishing are high end. The beds were so comfortable that everyone commented on it as usually when you travel the beds are the most dreaded part but not here. Even the blankets were soft and perfect. Each room was styled to the house perfectly as well. We will definitely return with more friends when the additions will be complete for an extension of our experience. The area was also Very nice with many restaurants to choose from. We also visited Harper’s Ferry while we were in the area which was a nice day trip.

Yarn Group Retreat - Unique Experience

This incredible Harry Potter house was quite the experience! My all-adult yarn group decided to stay here because we needed a large meeting space (the Great Hall) as well as rooms for us to sleep and lounge in. If you go, there's always a little corner to peek into with something new. Even the rooms that weren't "done" yet, are still in line with the HP themes. If you're an HP fan - give this place a go! Would totally recommend. (And I look forward to the additions when they're installed!) Hints for staying - the actual initial entrance is on the RIGHT side of the house (facing the front from the road). Enter the code and push the button on the TOP of the doorknob - this is not a regular door knob with a key or code. The owner has multiple phone numbers and was a little difficult to get ahold of but did finally come through when we were having issues getting into the building initially. The parking directions are clear but make sure you keep a mobile driver on the outside edges just in case. Not much room to shuffle cars around. If you use GPS - the driveway is misleading on the apps so watch out! If you're planning on cooking and need speciality tools - bring your own. Take-out menus would be a nice addition - but you will have to travel at least 20 minutes to the nearest pizza/chinese/grocery store. Not hard to get to - but not walking distance. I've been recommending this place to my wider group of friends and would stay again if the right opportunity came along.
