Relaxing Getaway

This is a beautiful property for relaxation and to just enjoy the views. We really enjoyed our atay and the house was beautiful.

Challenging driveway, very steep and very narrow. If you have a smaller car, I highly recommend it, but amazing view once on property. The spa was so clean and very much enjoyed with complete privacy and the views can’t be beat! The beds are extremely comfortable with lush bedding, but would have been nice to have two nightstands in both bedrooms. There aren’t any dressers to put any items on or clothing in, so plan for that. There is one closet in one of the rooms to hang items only. We enjoyed opening some of the windows and sliders, but needed to be closed before dusk because there are no screens at all. Screens would have been nice. The main thing that bothered me was the condition of the blinds in the entire house. Half of them are missing and sticking out. To have a home with such an amazing view, it’s a shame to see, and a huge eye sore. Both showers are great with wonderful pressure, but no towel racks in one of the bathrooms and for the 4 of us staying, there wasn’t the equal amount of washcloths or towels. We had a wonderful time, and I’m not one to be picky and complain, be feel like I had to mention everything. If one can get past the narrow steep driveway and what I’ve mentioned, this home is for you. You will love the view, spa and beds!!

We really enjoyed this space. The deck was fantastic with views as amazing as the photos. The two separated bedrooms and baths was great for us as well.

The Hilltop Villa was wonderful! It checked all the boxes, was fully equipped and it truly has a million dollar view. Would stay there again if I ever make it back to the Carmel Valley!

Perfect for family get-together. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable bedrooms each with its own full bath worked well for our group. The beautiful deck with a view taking in all of CV made for lots of memories.

The first impression once you reach the top is stunning views. The road leading there is a bit daunting especially after dark. The accommodations were great. Beds comfortable. We did not cook while there. The two king size beds and separate bedrooms/bathrooms definitely a plus for our party of four. The hot tub a plus for those who enjoy it. A few instructions would be helpful as far as the hot tub, thermostat and check out rules. Needed to look up the thermostat manual to figure it out after arriving back one afternoon to find the temperature had risen to 87 degrees even though it was set much lower. I did message Daniel and he was responsive regarding unlocking the hot tub and check out rules.

The views were definitely as described -- gorgeous, beautiful sunsets. However, be warned that the road and driveway up to these stunning views is quite windy and steep. Upon arrival, we changed our plans for going out at night and cooked all of the nights. That slight alteration did not affect our stay--actually enhanced our use of the property. Definitely enjoyed the Carmel Valley area and will be returning again soon. Thanks for sharing your space with our family!

Very nice stay. It was everything that we hoped for. The driveway can be a little intimidating to some drives. It's really tight but once you are up there, it's great. I have saved this in my list of stays while in the Carmel area.

Exceptional experience!

Property is exactly as shown in pictures, updated and decorated with great taste. Absolutely loved the jacuzzi and views of the valley during sunset! Driveway is steep but so worth getting to the top!

Valley View

Very private and secluded but easy to head downhill for wine tasting. Gorgeous view in all directions. Mamma and baby deer live in the area and visited morning and evening. Accommodations are perfect. Comfortable bedding. Hot tub was so nice.

Awesome Property!

We would have liked to stay forever! This home is the best location and nicest property we’ve stayed at in many years. It is exactly as advertised. The pics don’t do it justice since the views in person are fabulous. Owners communication is prompt and informative and check in is a breeze. We have stayed in Carmel Valley before but this location is tops! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfection

Our stay here was simply perfect. The location of the home couldn’t possibly be better: high atop the mountainside with stunning views in all directions and a short drive to Carmel Valley Village. It also made getting to Big Sur and Monterey a breeze. The house itself was impeccably clean, with everything you could possibly need for your stay supplied. The beds were also super comfortable. Daniel was responsive and helpful and we are already planning to return!

Amazing views.

The house and deck are the best with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and very clean. Everything works well including air and heat, hot tub, nice showers, and all kitchen appliances. The views overlooking the Valley all the way to the ocean are extraordinary. I would suggest guests arrive before dark as the street going to the residence has lots of turns and the driveway is very steep with a hairpin turn. Our host was responsive and a pleasure to work with.
