🐎Saratoga Track & Streamside Retreat 🌲 - Relax, Hike, Shop & Dine!

Take a moment to relax and escape the hustle just 5 miles North of downtown Saratoga Springs, NY, in our serene mountain four-season rustic cabin nestled into a wooded 50-acre private forest along Snook Creek in the foothills of the Adirondacks. A fire pit and Adirondack chairs await you for evenings filled with s’mores and stories, firewood provided. What better way to spend those dark days at the track, or any day, venturing outdoors to enjoy nature right at your doorstep on acres of hiking trails and along Snook Creek which meanders through our property.

Our two-room rustic cabin has a full kitchen with soapstone countertops, Keurig coffee maker, full refrigerator, range oven and microwave. There is one full bath (with bathtub and shower), television, internet, and a Weber outdoor grill. The spacious bedroom holds two queen-size beds, linens are provided. There is also a twin sofa bed for your convenience. Ideal for couples and families who love to feel secluded with nature but not be too far away from civilization! Your well-behaved dogs are always welcome here too for an additional $75 per pet fee. Sorry, no cats.

A full list of nearby attractions will be found at the cabin when you arrive including...three highly rated local restaurants just a mile down the mountain from the cabin. Downtown Saratoga and Broadway eateries are 5 miles South. Historic Saratoga Racecourse is 5 miles South. Saratoga Performing Arts Center is 6.5 miles away. Saratoga Lake, Brown’s beach and 550 Waterfront by Druthers Brewery is 10 miles away. Lake George Boat Launch and the Million Dollar Beach are 20 miles North. Hike, enjoy and explore the wildlife and beauty of an untouched forest on private property. Barbecue on the deck overlooking the lush green of the ferns and forest by the creek. Several wine and brewery attractions nearby and many attractions for family and children.

There is a minimum stay of 2 nights at this property. Guests will receive a 100% refund if their reservation is cancelled at least 30 days before the arrival date, and a 50% refund if it is canceled at least 14 days before the arrival date. Guests may check-in any time after 2 pm and must check-out by 11 am. This is a non-smoking cabin rental.

Spectacular cabin in the wood

This cabin is a jem with great hosts. Its just far enough away from Saratoga to not be in the city hustle vyt close enough to go have some fun in the city. We will be returning for sure!

Great place

Very relaxing place! All ammenities you could want are there (or within 15 minute drive), while still feeling like you're isolated out in the woods. Wonderful hiking opportunities in the area, with lots of state parks. Property was great, wonderful kitchen and bathroom.

The Place to Stay in Saratoga Springs

This cabin in the woods is the perfect quiet peaceful getaway. The hosts couldn't have been more communicative and gracious. The setting is private and the hosts have strived to accommodate their guests with a very clean, comfortable cabin, meticulous attention to detail and numerous guest comforts. This is the getaway cabin to choose when visiting Saratoga.

beautiful property and amazing hosts

Enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin! Was the perfect size for our family, and just the right distance to Saratoga and SPAC. Hosts were gracious and welcoming, stayed in touch when we asked for recommendations. Truly made us feel like special guests!! This is a wonderful spot for a weekend get-a-way!

If you’re planning a trip to the Saratoga Springs area, this cabin is perfect. Set back from the road and nestled in the woods, it’s private and peaceful yet still convenient to everything. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need, the owners are thoughtful and responsive, and we were welcomed with a basket stocked with yummy snacks upon arriving! We will definitely be back.

Great Weekend Getaway

Great location, we were in town to see a concert at SPAC. Cozy cabin with a magical outdoor space and fire pit perfect for unplugging from our phones and connecting with nature. Lots of personalized touches from our hosts that made the stay truly relaxing. Look forward to going back!

Quiet Retreat

We had a wonderful time at this relaxing cabin. I couldn't believe how quiet it was at night. It felt very secluded and yet we were close to all of the attractions we wanted to see. The local restaurants were excellent and the hosts were friendly and responsive. It was a wonderful place to get away for a few days.

Cozy Cabin

Our family had an amazing stay here. The location was perfect and it had everything we were looking for in a spot. Peter was amazing and in contact with us throughout the stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He even set up crayfish traps and fishing poles for the kids to use! We highly recommend this gem and we will be back.

Great little Cabin

Cabin was everything as advertised, private and out of the way but still close to Saratoga and Lake George. Denise was in contact and available at any time for questions or help. Highly recommended property and owner!

We had a great relaxing time at this rustic cabin in the wooded forest. The location was great and close to activities. We enjoyed the basket of goodies and all the special extras left throughout the cabinet. We didn't need a thing! Denise and Peter were great hosts and always available to answer a question. This was an outstanding property with as hospitable and helpful hosts as you could ask for. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped both inside and out. Some nice snacks and water were provided, and anything we didn't have but needed was only a text away -- Peter always responded promptly. We appreciated all the outdoor seating and equipment, including the patio heater, and the great firepit set-up, and the property was lovely to tromp through. It felt like we were really out in the woods, but restaurants and other activities were nearby and easy to get to. Our thanks! A great stay.

Perfect little cabin with exceptional hosts!

We absolutely loved this little cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). We were in Saratoga for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place to relax in between games and overnight. The hosts were amazing, left us the nicest welcome basket and equipped the cabin with everything we would need (flashlights, wood for the fire, coffee K-cups). We will definitely use this property again if in the area!

Highly recommend

While the weather was far from perfect the house was everything we were looking for. If you're looking for character and cleanliness in a secluded area then this is your choice...but still close enough to everything Saratoga has to offer to make it convenient.

This cozy cabin was perfect for myself, my husband and our 2 dogs. The check-in process was easy, we went right in, and we were pleasantly surprised with a gift basket with everything needed to make s’mores and some other snacks. The cabin was very clean and had brand new toothbrushes, a small bag of new shower essentials and plenty of spring water and keurig coffee cups. The location is private and feels like you are in the middle of the woods, but downtown Saratoga Springs is only 10 minutes away where we enjoyed lovely dinners each night. We already booked for next year! It was perfect and exactly what we needed to unwind. Thank you!

A little piece of heat

Lovely cabin in the woods. Quiet yet close to Saratoga Springs, Adirondack Mts, Lake Placid and more! Cabin is quaint and cozy. Host are thoughtful and friendly. Just a call away! Great place to unwind from the fast pace life and recharge!

Perfect Getaway Cabin

This was a perfect cozy escape for our weekend in Saratoga. Just off the beaten path, but close enough to downtown. Charming, rustic but definitely nicely appointed and clean accommodations. Secluded wooded surroundings. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. The host made us feel very welcome by leaving treats for our dog as well as for us too. This is a host that goes the extra mile.

In for nieces graduation

We can not say enough about the accommodations nor our host. We absolutely loved the cozy cabin and numerous times found ourselves saying OMG-look at this! They thought of everything. We also were able to have a great bon fire(s) and a beautiful graduation family get together for our niece. Pete could not have been a better host! Saratoga Springs

We came up for the weekend to see a show at SPAC, do a little hiking & see a race… the cabin was perfect in every way … it was right outside of Saratoga Springs , tucked in on a private road engulfed by pines & maples. It was quiet & clean & comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive & had every detail in the house covered. Down to plush towels & a s’mores kit! Great spot
