Bearfootin' Cabin is located on a serene pond within walking distance of the Cohutta Wilderness and a waterfall. You can paddle around on a paddleboat or canoe on the pond. You are also welcome to fish. Blue Ridge and Ellijay are only a 15-20 minute drive. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and also have outdoor dining. Relax by the fire pit or stargaze from the hot tub on the large deck. Bring your EV--charging outlet on site! Nearly two acres--all yours!

Super cute cabin! The front porch and fire pit area are excellent. Close to several attractions. The only suggestion I would have for future guests would be to make sure you screen shot the code before you get there as we had no cell service and had to drive back out to get the code.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful property, cabin and area. Communication with host was great. So many things to do and also quiet enough to read, nap or do nothing. The deer watching was excellent each night at our campfire. Best vacation in years!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The kids enjoyed the pond and the small creek. It’s a beautiful thing to see kids outside playing. Such a great home.

The overall property is beautiful. We stayed a week and enjoyed the quietand all The deer in the morning. There 4 of us and that was perfect. Previous posts talk about the drive there. What we found was the road coming to/from Blue Ridge were much better than roads coming from Ellijay. That being said the last half mile has gravel, is narrow and rutted. We have a Hyundai Santa Fe and we were fine. We enjoyed near by BBQ, waterfalls, zip lines, pizza and small town charms.

We had a great stay! The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The cabin was cozy yet spacious enough to comfortably accommodate five people and two dogs. Its location was convenient to nearby activities, which made it easy to explore the area. We loved fishing in the pond and were excited to catch a few bluegills and bass.

Our host was very accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The house was very well maintained and well stocked. The pond on property was charming and the hot tub was perfect. Day trips from the house were easy to find and it made for a great weekend of exploring!

The cabin was clean and well equipped. The issues were with cable, internet and electricity. Cable and internet were out 50% of the time, sometimes 2 or 3 hours. The electricity was out about 40% of the time. Unfortunately, at inopportune times. It would go out several times a day for 1-3 hours and unfortunately making dinner at 6:15 and did not come back on until 9 pm. A lantern or flashlight were available but not in functioning condition. Did not use hot tub as the deck was filled with twigs, nuts berries etc. If all Wi-Fi, electricity and cable were somewhat consistent the cabin would have been a great stay.G

Peaceful and relaxing!

The cabin was everything it portrayed in the photos. The yard was great for the kids to run around in and they loved fishing off the dock. We had some snow flurries as well a few mornings which was icing on the cake. The cabin is in the perfect spot, there are hiking trails nearby without having to travel an hour. The home was cozy. As a family of 5 with 3 kids in all different stages of life -it was nice to enjoy spending time together without the distractions of life. Thank you again for making this a memorable week for our family.

Relaxing winter get away

Very cozy cabin on the lake. The gas fire place provided the perfect ambiance for those chilly nights. The firepit by the lake was also nice for gathering and making stores. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Great little cabin for families

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving! Our kids enjoyed fishing in the pond, although we didn't catch any fish in it, Mercier Orchards apple farm was a short drive away and we caught bluegill there. We paddled around the pond on the canoe and the kids likely would have jumped in the water if it wasn't so cold! It's close to Cowgirl Up Stables where we all got on horses and rode through trails and streams and had a blast! Blue Ridge is about a 20 minute drive away. Overall, I'd say we didn't have any problems were happy we chose this cabin.

We just returned from the most enchanting stay at this beauticabin on Oliver’s Pond, and I’m already counting the days until we can go back. From the moment you pull up, the setting is absolutely breathtaking. The cabin sits right on the pond, surrounded by lush forest that feels like it’s hugging you from every side. The views are postcard-perfect—still water reflecting the trees and sky, with the most incredible light throughout the day.The peacefulness is next-level. There’s no road noise, no neighbors noise —just pure, restorative quiet broken only by birdsong, the occasional splash of a fish, and the gentle rustle of leaves. It’s the kind of place where you instantly exhale and feel the stress of everyday life melt away. The cabin itself is cozy, comfortable, and perfectly situated to take full advantage of the natural beauty all around it. Mornings with coffee on the deck, evenings watching the sun dip behind the trees… it’s pure magic.One night after sunset, we witnessed something I’ll never forget. The forest came alive as hundreds of lightning bugs began lighting up the woods like nature’s own fairy lights. The entire treeline was twinkling and sparkling in the darkness—it was absolutely mesmerizing and made the whole experience feel truly enchanted. We sat there for hours, just soaking it in.If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful escape that feels worlds away from everything, book this cabin!

Awesome Bearfootin adventure

Where do I start. The property was beautiful, the seasonal change and the leaf colors were amazing. The cabin was so modern and very cozy. There were deer in the backyard in the morning and the fireplace and cool days made the visit perfect since we are from Florida. The vibe of the Blue Ridge area was very relaxed and the fishing in the local streams was fantastic. We loved the get away to this beautiful area. I highly recommend this property to anyone who loves the mountains and the outdoors.

Wonderful family getaway!

The cabin was everything we wanted and more! Tucked away but not 100000ft up a mountain lol. We loved having the extra property so the kids could run around freely! My husband loved the pond and fire pit out back! My favorite was the gas fireplace that lit up with no effort and was SO cozy! The cabin had everything to cook and eat at home. The shower was comfortable and clean and had great pressure and hot water, all very important! Oh! The washer and dryer was a HUGE plus! I was able to have everything washed, dried and clean before going home! Made getting home and unpacking a breeze definitely recommend!! Cherry Log has a very small population however very close to 2 great city’s with everything you need ! We all really enjoyed our family vacation and expect to be back!

Upstairs, you'll find a sleeping loft with two comfortable twin beds, and a table that can double as a work staton or game table.
