Skinny dippin in St George Island

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Home is immaculate and well appointed and just a few steps from the beach and restaurants. High end finishes made our family stay comfortable and enjoyable. The heated pool on the second level was amazing and a huge hit with our kids. The property manager was always accessible, accommodating and check in was seamless and easy. We hope to stay here again soon.

Great Spring Break for the Family

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is beautiful and in an amazing location. We rented the golf cart and paid to have the pool heated. The golf cart pictured is not what was at the home when we arrived which was a bummer. Luckily, we were able to secure a rental from a local spot. Also, our pool heater only worked on the first day. And the propane heaters below the house did not work. Overall the management company was very responsive to text messages and very friendly. However, a month later, and we are still waiting on refunds for both the golf cart and pool heater. The house had a great view, great furniture, great kitchen amenities. If we did not need the other features, it would have been a perfect stay.

The location of this rental is excellent, and the home's floor plan is great. It was clean upon arrival, and we genuinely enjoyed the layout and the area's convenience. However, several maintenance issues definitely affected our stay. The washer and dishwasher were both not working, the kitchen faucet handle kept falling off, and the kitchen water pressure was very low due to the faucet head needing to be cleaned by a plumber. The main entry door and the balcony door did not latch properly, the hinge on the upstairs hall closet door was coming off the wall, and the pool light flickered throughout our stay. The light/fan in the master commode wouldn’t stay on, and two bulbs in the primary bathroom were out.Additionally, the amenity section doesn't state anywhere that there is an extra charge to heat the pool, which would’ve been helpful to know in advance.Overall, the home has potential and many positives, but the number of unresolved maintenance issues made our stay less comfortable than expected. Once these items are addressed, this could easily be a 5-star rental.

Use a different rental company!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It started out good and ended terribly. Upon arriving at Skinny Dippin we noticed some things that showed the property hadn’t been taken care of but weren’t essential issues for us (ie broken cables, large paint scratches, exterior door handle falling off, table with a coaster under it to keep it level, etc). The top A/C unit went out on Friday morning HVAC came out said they could not fix it. Saturday the bottom A/C went out and we had to continually call the management company only for them to finally tell us at 7:10PM no one could come out (we wasted our entire day waiting). Was supposed to get a call from the company on Monday (did not). Received an email stating they were refunding $728 never received a call from GCVP. Always had to continue to call them regarding the issue.
