Walk to Beach + Bethany Boardwalk

Spacious beach house just two and a half blocks from the beach and two blocks to Bethany’s downtown area. In 2024, the entire house was freshly painted inside and out. Open concept living area includes a family room with a 55” Smart TV. The original kitchen comes equipped with all you need to prepare a meal, and includes a new dishwasher and microwave. A small island provides some seating, and a connecting dining space includes a large table and chairs for family dining. Just off the open living space, a spacious screened-in porch with table and chairs and additional seating is a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach, share a family meal, or get lost in a great book with ocean breezes in the background. Two (2) well-appointed bedrooms (one king and one queen) and two full baths are also on the main living level.

The second floor includes two additional bedrooms: one with two (2) twin/single beds and the second bedroom features a queen and twin/single bed. A full bath with a tub/shower is also on this level and a loft-area with a couch and television provides additional living space to relax.

Included in the rental is the use of a Town of Bethany parking permit. The beach and downtown area are just a short walk away – approximately 2 ½ blocks. Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, plates and glasses, coffee mugs and a traditional coffee maker plus Keurig. A washer and dryer are also available.

Guests are required to bring or rent bed, bath, and beach linens. Bethany Beach has several reputable linen rental options including Gale Force, Sheets at the Beach, and Coastal Rentals.

Our home rents Saturday to Saturday during the summer season. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. and check-out is 10:00 a.m. sharp. We cannot accommodate late check-out for any reason.

Great beach house!

This house was perfect for our family of five adults and two children. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of beach toys and games for the kids. We walked to the beach and were close to the heart of Bethany Beach.

Lovely house in good location

This property was perfect for our two families of four. The kids had the two upstairs rooms, their own bathroom, and a loft for games, and each adult couple had their own room/bath downstairs. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Kitchen is well stocked, living room is comfortable, and we really loved the screened-in porch. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach or to town. Great house!

Quiet House Close to Beach

The house fit our needs for 7 adults perfectly. Less than a 10 min walk to the beach and the boardwalk. Great screened in front deck. The loft with a TV was a great second space to hang out.

Great house and great location

Highly recommend this house and location. The porch and deck were wonderful and there is lots of space for a group of 8. The location to the beach and town is convenient. Would stay here again.

Amazing family vacation

Location of this house was perfect for our very active family. The screened-in porch was used daily for games and puzzles. We really enjoyed riding the bikes (provided by the owners) in addition to our own electric scooters and mopeds down to the beach and main drag/ boardwalk area. Initially we all were a little concerned about having to cross Coastal Highway to get to the beach, but the crosswalk system is the best any of us have ever seen! You simply press the button and the cars stop nearly instantaneously and let you cross. We were all amazed at the very courteous and kind drivers in this town as well as the neighbors across the street. What a gem of a neighborhood! We also road our scooters to Bonkey’s ice cream (almost every night) and Shipwrecked mini-golf. If you look on a map, you can stay off Garfield Parkway for most of the trip by riding through various neighborhoods and utilizing a bike path tucked away in one of the neighborhoods. The kitchen had almost everything we needed for a fabulous week. We didn’t realize this house does NOT have a grill and unfortunately most of our meal plans centered around a grill. That was our fault for not realizing that, but it is honestly the only rental house we’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have one (and we’ve rented many over the last 17 years). RENTER BEWARE! We went out to Walmart one morning and bought a cheap $15 grill and a bag of charcoal to get us through. In spite of this, it was still a great value for us.

This beach house is in the perfect location… On a shady street only two blocks from the beach. What a wonderful place to spend a week with friends and family! It was clean, comfortable, had an amazing screened in porch! Thank you!!!

Great off season stay

We were visiting family in Bethany Beach and needed a comfortable place to stay. This was just the spot, we had a home base for walking around town and visiting the area. Rooms and nice and comfortable, supplied entertainment (board games, TV options) was good, and the kitchen had all we needed for our stay.

Lovely beach house

We had a wonderful time staying at this home for a week in August. The house was clean, spacious and just a few short blocks from the beach. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant, and we made great use of the beach chairs and beach toys stocked by the host. There were even bikes and boogie boards. Renters need to provide some basics -- dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags, for instance, and there are no hand towels in the kitchen. But overall a great stay. Would rent again.

exceptional beach vacation property

My wife and I were accompanied by my daughter her husband and two children aged 9 and 11. We all had a wonderful time especially the kids. We've been to bethany beach many times during the past 30 years. I would rate this property as the best of the more than a dozen that we've stayed at. Hope to come back next year if everyone is well. Perfect!

Great location, clean house, comfortable and cozy! Quiet street and even though we had to cross Coastal Highway it was an easy walk to the beach! Check in was easy and owners were accessible and kind!

The blocks from beach

The house was clean and well arranged so that people could do different things (great screen porch, upstairs area, large main living area) without getting in each other’s way. Even though hall the days of the week were rainy, the layout made it easy to keep kids occupied, and the library is half a block away. Kitchen well supplied.

The Perfect Bethany Beach Stay!

We had a wonderful week at this very clean and organized property which is exactly as the photos show-equipped with all the necessities and amenities you need! We enjoyed the screened in porch for coffee and and evenings in the family room watching movies. The space is perfect with giving everyone room for privacy and plenty of open spaces to gather. Loved this property and will definitely be back! Thank you so much for sharing her home with us! Beautifully done!

Perfect Location, Clean and Spacious

The house was perfect for our family-just a short walk to the beach and town, very clean and spacious. The layout provided plenty of space for us to spread out plus a great front porch. We will be back!
