The Barn also offers guests a range of facilities to help them relax and unwind. There is a cozy living room with a fireplace, perfect for curling up with a good book or enjoying a glass of wine after a long day of exploring. The guesthouse also has a generouss garden where guests can relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Incredible views, peace and quiet in a rural out of the way location. Very romantic and private. It does not have the A/C, if it’s important to you, but the temperature in the mountains is cooler than the rest of the country and you may even find yourself reaching for a sweater in the evening when outside. Great hiking, biking and horse riding available in the village. Breakfast is plentiful (and included) made of a daily local meat and cheese platter, country bread, vegetables, and fresh eggs. Jogurt, milk and fruit on request. The food lasted us the whole day! But the hosts also offer homemade lunch and dinner on request and you can’t eat it all. Over 4 days we only ate out once and refused breakfast one day we were so stuffed! Bran castle, Brasov and Peles Castle in Sinaia are a quick drive away and the Saxon fortified churches in Prejmar and Harman are right outside Brasov too. The best part are the hosts - always available to communicate, give recommendation, and even check on opening status of attractions. They will also get you whatever you need to make your stay enjoyable. We recommend it highly after our 4 day stay in June 2024.
