We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The RV was the perfect space for our family of 3, and the key largo kampground is so peaceful and had all the amenities you could ask for. Clean bath house, two beaches, nice pool area, laundry facilities, and more. We can’t wait to come back!

Manatees!

This was a very nice place for staying in Key Largo. It is in a well maintained campground mostly for RVs and permanent homes. It was on the marina water and had a great deck and spent mornings and evenings sitting under the tiki hut looking at the water and those on it passing by. The best was the manatees visiting!

Excellent place!

Really nice place, no surprises. Location was excellent and pictures and description very accurate. Unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor but can't control that! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Everything was exactly as posted online and shown in the photos! We own a camper very similar to this so it was easy to know how to operate everything. The camper was super clean, parking was a breeze and we absolutely loved the dock and chilling out in the evenings.

What a great little getaway spot! The site couldn’t be better and the camper was a great fit for our family of 4. We saw manatees at the dock and were able to boat out most days to enjoy the snorkeling and waters around Key Largo. Thanks so much for a great spot - hoping to return again soon!!

Perfect Location for Boaters

This was the perfect location for boating. We were able to see all the reefs and back bays to go fishing. We were there four nights and enjoyed having the boat right at the dock behind our campsite. The camper was perfect size for our group and the grill outside was a plus to cook the fish we caught. Great times!!!

Dock was great! Camper needs work, flat tire on one side makes the whole thing lean. Dishes were dirty on arrival. Bathroom door does not shut. Power went out, couldn’t get ahold of owner. Had to figure it out ourselves. Would stay at the camp again, but with a different host.

Beautiful clean location

Beautiful convienent location. Perfect location for diving fishing and restaurants. Plus on the canal if you have your own boat. New clean trailer. Simple accomodations in a beautiful setting. Was just my son and I so plenty of space. Would be a lil crowded if more than 4 in your party.

Great boating getaway!

First time at KLK and this place was cute with the outdoor tiki & shower being a favorite! The unit stays cool (bunks can be a little warm but make sure you have the overhead unit on). The community staff were all great and the property owner was very helpful with questions. Please note that if you’re not experienced with a trailer, I don’t recommend attempting to park one at the site. We had a 26x9 trailer we squeezed in with many years of experience (obstacles: tiles, neighbor, rocks). Our boat was a Hewes Redfisher 21 and fit perfect at the dock. KLK is perfect location for getting to the reefs and bayside, just need to watch tides as we draft 14” dry and wouldn’t think of attempting low tide. Very nice ramp, again check tides. Will definitely stay again!

Key Largo stay

It was pretty much as I anticipated. Rain and cool weather was somewhat disappointing but can't control Mother Nature! Directions I received to find the property were not correct but fortunately we turned onto Samson RD. to look at directions again and then saw your sign at the end of the road. We really enjoyed the Everglades an spent two days there.

We loved it!

The camper was neat, clean, and in great condition. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. Outside was absolutely beautiful. We loved hanging out on the deck under the tiki hut. Fans under the hut keep you completely comfortable even in July! The campground was also great. The employees and other campers were friendly and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful. Our last day a manatee swam right by our site. The campground is very close the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park which was nice. Walking distance from a grocery store and restaurants. The host was also super friendly and helpful. He responded to any messages very quickly.

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay. It did storm the majority of the time, however that's no fault of anyone. I really liked the location! Just down the road from Publix and a TJ maxx. Also, Hobo's and Sharky's are less than 5 min away. 2 best restaurants in the area! The only complaint we have on this listing is the 2 private beaches. They are not swimmable. Water is dark and yuck looking. Sketchy lol and you can't see what's in the water with you. They're basically just for launching kayaks. But, if you have a boat, you can find good water! Oh, and the boat... Very limited space to park a trailer next to the camper. The tiles take up a ton of space. It's pretty, but not practical for folks hauling a boat trailer. Our boat is 18' and the trailer barely fit in the space. We still recommend this place. It's a good stay for families. Huge pool and a place to wash clothes. Just wish a little more info was given in regards to the "2 private beaches". Kids were bummed they couldn't swim. Other than that, it was a good visit.

Ants, Leaking Toilet, Broken items

Our stay at this property was disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival on Friday afternoon, the place initially seemed promising but was fraught with issues. Entry was difficult due to a damaged door latch, requiring force to open.Inside,despite looking tidy, he trailer was uncomfortably warm, with the A/C taking a long time to cool the space. A fan was provided, but it took up valuable floor space in the master bedroom.Maintenance was problematic,with the couch bolster, which also supported the dining table, poorly repaired with silicone caulk. Sugar ants around the counter, bathroom, and bedroom, escalating to larger carpenter ants. My son had to move from the top bunk to the couch bed due to ants, which were also present there.Saturday morning,ants had overrun the kitchen, getting into our food and the microwave.In the bathroom,ants were on towels,and a toilet leak was “fixed” with silicone caulk instead of a proper repair.A broken exhaust fan and floor heating vent added to our discomfort.Discovering carpenter ants under the bunk mattress explained my sons discomfort.Attempts to contact the host were in vain.I reached out via voicemail and text, receiving only a delayed response with an unhelpful suggestion to cancel our reservation,which was impossible.No direct contact details were provided for photo evidence. Despite following check-out instructions, we received a one-star review instead of assistance or a refund.RegretableUnresolved issues,poor communication,.
