Great space for enjoying our visit together inside villa and outside pool/dock/palapa even better. Proximity to town, secret beach and Marine Reserve was just right.

Thanksgiving belize

House is beautiful and very clean, the view is amazing, only problem the house is a bit out from San Pedro and Roads are very bumpy on the golf carts, Everything else was perfect, amazing trip, communication with propert manger-very good…

Amazing Property!

We had an amazing stay at Bella Mar. It was everything we expected and more! We stayed with our 4 adult children and 2 significant others and there was tons of room. The separate casitas were so nice for privacy for our kids with boy/girlfriends. We spent a lot of time in the pool and enjoyed looking out at the turquoise sea! We highly recommend this home and would stay again!

Family vacation

Bella Mar villa was as seen in the pictures and description. We loved the villa, spacious and room for our group of 10 to not only be together but have some space to call our own. It was clean and had all the amenities. Concierge service very timely and accommodating! Definitely need golf cart to explore San Pedro. Would stay again without a doubt!

Family Vacation in Paradise!

We had an amazing time at Bella Mar. We stayed from June 22-29, 2024. From booking to numerous questions I had before the trip, someone from the management team responded quickly to answer my questions. The house was very nice. Kitchen and dining area is huge, and kitchen is very well equipped. We did have a few issues the first couple of days. I did not deduct from my rating because a problem with hot water, a door not locking and an air conditioner that went out were all repaired the next day. The house is on the south end of the island and is very peaceful. The views were amazing. My group consisted of my wife and I, our children and spouses, and 3 grandchildren ages 9, 13 and 15. Everyone had a great time!

Our family of ten stayed at Floreo’s Bella Mar Villa in Belize over Christmas. We arrived on Christmas Eve and stayed through the 30th. First, the good points. The house was very large and extremely well equipped with plenty of spaces for our group of four young adults and six adults. The pool was very nice and the views were spectacular. The dock was handy and enabled pick up by the dive boat. There were several really good restaurants nearby on our end of the island, especially The Black Orchid and Some Place South. Next, the bad points. We arrived right after a thunderstorm so the pool was strewn with leaves and fronds and the pool area had storm debris. As no pool cleaning service came until mid week, we had to clean up the pool and the surrounding area. The exterior of the house is in poor shape with rusting stair railings and no slip strips coming off the stairs. It looks neglected. The beach area is not as nice as indicated in the photo. It is small and the sand sparse. The worst aspect of this house is that it is south of downtown. To get to the house you must travel over a horribly potholed road in a golf cart for about 1.5 miles. It took about 20 minutes to get to downtown which only 3.5 miles away. The first two miles are decent. The rest is awful. Not good if you have back issues.The concierge was responsive to a problem we had with flooding in the lower bedroom, probably from a faulty air conditioner. We’re glad to hear the home worked well for your large group, that you enjoyed the spacious layout, pool, spectacular views, and the convenience of the dock for dive pickups. It’s also great to know our concierge team was responsive and helpful during your stay. We do want to share a bit of additional context for future readers. Bella Mar is intentionally located in a more secluded area of the island, and we clearly note in our listing that it is a distance from downtown. The road leading south is a typical Belize road, and after heavy rains—such as the thunderstorm just before your arrival—it can become more bumpy than usual. That said, we appreciate this feedback and will make sure we continue to be very clear in our listing so guests can set the right expectations, especially if road conditions are a concern. Regarding the pool and exterior areas, your arrival immediately following a storm and on Christmas Eve did create some challenges. Pool service is handled by a contracted company, and we were limited by holiday hours; however, we understand how this impacted your first impressions and appreciate your patience. We will also be reviewing the exterior maintenance items you mentioned to ensure they are addressed. We truly value your input, as it helps us improve both the guest experience and how we communicate what to expect. T
