Waterfront House on a Quiet Cove! Only 35 minutes to downtown Auburn!

Great place to stay for Auburn University events: graduation, football, basketball, etc. Bring the whole family to this relaxing lake house with lots of room for fun. Nestled on a quiet cove it's perfect for swimming, fishing or just relaxing with a good book!
This newly built lake house offers open concept living areas with a well stocked kitchen, huge deck overlooking the lake, a large dock, TVs in every bedroom, a large TV in the family area, a large dining table and extra seating at the kitchen bar.
The water is seasonal and will be down between October and March but it is still beautiful during late fall and winter. There is a fire pit to enjoy on those cool nights. Enjoy the hot chocolate bar provided by the host during the cooler months!

It was exactly as photographed and described—the perfect lake house/vacation home. We used their wonderful gear to kayak, paddle board, have our 3-year old play in the gigantic sandbox. So well-supplied. Can’t say enough good things. Met our expectations and more!!!

We had a great few days in the lake relaxing and fishing with the family. House was clean and well stocked. The paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat were a huge hit with all the kids and adults. The cove was quiet and had very little boat traffic. We had good communication with the owner at Checkin and through out the stay. We had a great trip. Thank you.

The perfect relaxing getaway

My family and I (including two young kids) stayed here for a week and had the BEST time. Communication with Lucinda was so easy and helpful, the property was gorgeous, and the lake was peaceful. Core memories were certainly made on our trip and we will be forever grateful!

Wonderful host

We are a family with 3 couples and 5 teenagers. This house was perfect for us. The great room gave us a roomy place to hang out when not on the water. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes. The hostess is wonderful and very quick to answer any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this house.

Sweet Home Alabama

Spectacular property and outstanding communication with owner. New at just 4 months and located in a scenic area and serene environment - we were more tgan satisfied. Exceptional amenities - especially bedding; towels; and full service kitchen were some of the many highlights. What stood out most was the tastefully decorated interior with #feelslikehome comforts. Great connectivity. Wonderful terrace with outdoor furniture and Weber Grill. Lakeside beach, fire pit, dock and swim platform. Understandable why our hosts selected this area as it fulfilled all expectations of a discerning traveler. Wealso enjoyed Talkadega! Hope we will be allowed to stay here again soon. Cheers! Beautiful vacation home

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in a quiet area on the lake. The home was very accommodating, with an open floor plan, three king beds, a twin bunk room and three bathrooms. We enjoyed our conversations around the outdoor fire pit in the evenings and the outdoor porch area was perfect for grilling and sitting around visiting! The owner was very eager to make our stay enjoyable, so much that she went out of her to bring us a full size corn hole board! I would highly recommend this home.

Beautiful Cove Home

This property was incredibly comfortable for our group of 10. It is beautifully decorated and full of extra special little “touches” (outdoor fire pit with S’mores set-up, outdoor games, board games, etc.). Communication with the host was very easy. She gave us recommendations for dining and things to do in the area. She even checked in to make sure we arrived safely and wished us well as we headed in to Auburn for the Iron Bowl. I highly recommend this home to any vacationing in this area. We definitely hope to come back some day!

Loved the new house and all it's amenities!

The 4-bedroom house was perfect for us 8 golfers. The newness of the house was fantastic, including all aspects of the house. This house has everything needed to be very comfortable and to have fun, including a smokeless fire pit, level yard with yard games, comfortable furniture inside and out, and a boat dock with kayak and paddle board. Well stocked with firewood, gas grill, bug spray, and all kitchen, bath items and much more. The host also stocked a smore bar with chocolate, Marshmellows, and gram crackers. We had zero issues with this house and all it's great amenities. We will definitely return next year.

Beautiful spot on the lake!

Perfect spot for our family to stay for the UGA v Auburn game. Our family loved the house and how it was laid out. The neighborhood is tucked back off the road and on a beautiful spot on lake Martin. We felt lucky to find this place and the manager took time each day to communicate with us to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful 4th of July!

We loved our VRBO! Everything was perfect and our host made our stay great! The home was clean, and exactly as pictured. The location was great for us with a dock for our boat. Our host communicated quickly and was very helpful with any questions we had. This home is beautiful and we are so grateful she shared her home with our family. This was the best experience we have had staying at a host home! Thank you Lucy’s Lake House for a wonderful trip!

Lakehouse Family Fun!

Amazing time at Lake Martin! All of us ranging in age from 6-80 had a wonderful time! This new property is beautiful and on the perfect quiet lot on lake. Spacious bedrooms and baths with huge living area and kitchen. Fully equipped house with all the extras! Plenty of room for all inside as well as outside. Large patio/deck with rocking chairs (grandma enjoyed those), BBQ pit and plenty of seating for outdoor dining and conversation. The beach area that waded into lake was perfect for kids to board the kayak and paddle board that were included w/house. We could not have been more pleased with our LakeHouse choice. Cindy was such a gracious hostess… from answering all our questions to coming to the rescue when we accidentally jammed the front door handle. We will definitely be back for more Lake Martin Family VACA memories! TY Cindy!

Wonderful Property and Owners!

This property was perfect for our family lake trip! The house is right on the water in a quiet cove. There was plenty of room for both our boats as well as space for fishing off the dock. The house amenities are great and the owners are fantastic. The neighbors are wonderful too. We had such a great time and will definitely be staying here again!
