Second full size bed room also has two twins & private bath and lowest level has a Murphy bed and bunk room (4 twins) perfect for the younger ones. Chalet Lyon has amazing Views of HoliMont. Great open concept space perfect for entertaining with two lower levels of sleeping rooms. TV, Wi-Fi, book today!

We truly enjoyed staying at the Chalet with our adult kids and their friends - it was a wonderful place to reconnect. The views from each floor are stunning. The main living room / kitchen area was a great place to hang out and the bedrooms were very comfortable. When we were there is was in the teens outside and the heated floors were a nice surprise.

We had a magnificent day. It was perfect for our family. There was enough for him for everybody to enjoy themselves. We had a beautiful amount of snow snowfall, which was lovely to watch from the living room with the fireplace. The two TVs were also a bonus so that we could watch Christmas movies and sports at the same time.

Awesome location overlooking Holimont. Very unique property such as walking down the side of a hill to enter the house. Having two large balconies is very nice and makes hanging out outside pleasant. Don’t be afraid of the parking situation. I do recommend backing down into the driveway so pulling out is easier. Would recommend!

Spacious place with breathtaking views

This spacious chalet perfectly met the needs of our family. Communication with our hosts was efficient and friendly - so easy to work with. We had a tire blow out — they immediately responded with recommendations and we had the tire fixed in less than 12 hours! We spent our days on the slopes, hit a couple of restaurants in town and hung out in the living space playing games and watching movies. We were also thrilled to bring our doodle with us so the whole family could be together. Would love to come back and experience the place in the fall when we could enjoy the leaves and the outdoors around the property.

The home needs a lot of attention

We found the home to be dirty. Floors need to be washed, no garbage bags or toilet paper, major problem with ants in our food, cleaned up dog poop from the pervious renters, dirty dishes in the cupboards and drawers. I stayed in the ground level bedroom and am still covered in some type of bug bites that itch terribly. This floor also has a major problem with condensation, making the floors wet and slippery (I fell once) and the rug & bedding damp. The owner was made aware of these issues, and others not listed. Was supposed to have a reply in 24 hours, to "make things right", but nothing. No one was comfortable in the house, just not a good feeling. People who planned to stay all week ended up staying overnight. I hope things change, but until they do, I would not suggest staying here.

Great location and view. Can see three lifts at Holimont and the night-time view of the slope prep was cool. Perfect space to prep for a day of skiing.

Breathtaking views and comfort! Private street no traffic. I chose this neighborhood because Ellicottville is a true four-season destination that blends small-town charm with big adventure. The home sits just minutes from the village, where you’ll find great restaurants, shops, and a welcoming community atmosphere. In the winter, the slopes are close by for skiing and snowboarding, and in the summer and fall, the area comes alive with hiking, mountain biking, golf, and festivals.

What I enjoy most about this neighborhood is its balance of excitement and relaxation. You can spend the day outdoors or in town, then return to a peaceful home setting where you can unwind, enjoy the views, and reconnect with friends and family.

Unlike many rentals, this home is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and gathering. Guests often tell us that the property feels like a “home away from home” because of the attention to detail, from the cozy living spaces to the well-equipped kitchen. The location is another standout feature — close enough to enjoy everything Ellicottville offers, yet tucked away enough to provide peace and quiet after a full day of adventure.
