Lakeview Ontario Cottage

Lakeview Ontario cottage on quiet and friendly neighborhood with beautiful lake view from the porch. Steps away from public boat ramp, Wilson Tuscarora State Park, Olcott beach and more. Tuscarora state park offers kayaks and bikes for rent and water acces. Cottage offers 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the bedrooms is in second floor and is loft, has two twin beds. The other room is in first floor and has double bed. Living room has double sofa bed and sofa. Rooms have fans and night stand touch lights. Guests can enjoy seating on the deck and watch sunset on Ontario lake. OUR COTTAGE IS LAKE VIEW and ofers steps away from park behind the cottage for kids to play or walk the dog. Close to all restaurants and breweries in area. Short drive from Niagara Fall, 25 minutes, Fort Niagara historic places and many other interesting points in Niagara County.

Positives: Pet Friendlyquite and safe neighborhoodfire pitclean and well stockedThe owner was attentive and accommodating.Negatives: If you have a balance issue this house is not for you. The floors lean and dip, its an old cottage but the owner has done their best to upgrade, but the workmanship has its moments; however, it didn't bother us.

This house fit us perfectly. We needed room to pull in with truck and boat, plenty of room. Very quiet location. Nice kitchen ware, clean house when we got there. Bathroom was nice condition which is important in a rental. Wifi access was easy. Would love to come back!

We had a good time. Lakeview Ontario Cottage is close to all sorts of attractions. Very quiet neighborhood.

Great location

The house was acceptable. The outside porch area needed to be cleaned. Did not use. There is a raccoon that is getting into the trash. There is probably beautiful foliage around the house but was not cleaned from the winter. Outside could use some TLC.

We booked this property for a few reasons, it was pet friendly, appeared to have a fenced in yard, and was close to family and the Falls, we enjoy lake views, and being able to sit outside. 1. There is no fence, this is a public park, in which the fence does not go to the ground, so if you see it planning on being able to contain your pet, you are incorrect.2. You have an obstructed lake view, but you can see it.3. There is lovely outdoor furniture, completely covered top and bottom with spider webs. As is the outside of the home. (When we were there anyhow). 4. The host responded very promptly when we notified him that the floors were likely not cleaned by the cleaning service. He came right over and met us as we were leaving to see family. He told us that the floors were NOT dirty, that he, himself cleaned them. At which we immediately understood that ours and his definitions of clean were different. He told us that he was going to the house to re-clean the floors and that we likely tracked in the dirt bringing our items in the house. I told him that was fine, and that we put our stuff down quickly so that we could get to family, and to ignore it. When we returned several hours later, it was clear that nothing had been done so, I cleaned the main walking areas myself, as well as the base of the toilet and the bathroom floor. The mattresses are very firm, which are fine for us. It was VERY well stocked.Very picturesque little town.NO washer and dryer.

Nice place

The property was just as we expected and if anything nicer than it appeared online. The two simple questions I had were answered immediately. The utensils and dishes, pots, oans etc. all matched and were in like new condirion.

Fishing vacation

House was nice clean and comfortable about 20 minutes from the boat launch on the Niagara river where we were fishing would stay there again very satisfied

Great Stay

Me and my husband stayed here it was so comfortable and inviting. The house was overall clean. Only complaint was the house side where we wanted to set was full of spiderwebs and setting area could have been alittle more cleaner. Not the leaves just the webs. Overall qe loved it. Will stay there again

Quiet spot to stay while visiting Niagara

This house is very cute and has a pretty view of Lake Ontario — you can even see Toronto from across the water. The house is nice, and it’s a more secluded spot to stay within about a half hour of Niagara Falls. However, the bed was not very comfy, and (as advertised), the biggest bed is only a double. Otherwise, it’s a great launch pad for your trip to the falls.

When I booked the house for Tuesday and Wednesday dates were available I took a picture when I paid it gave me wrong dates and said no refund ..The property owner personally help out with a place to stay and a refund …Not to many people would go out of there way like he did …Highly recommend this place and with him being the owner it’s only a bonus …Enjoy this place it’s cheap and close to everything

Peaceful getaway

This cute little house is tucked back in a quiet neighborhood. We came up to salmon fish and made a perfect location for Wilson Boatyard and a short drive to Newfane Marina. The only thing that was confusing/misleading were some of the pictures made it seem like it was on the water. Would definitely stay again!

Family getaway

The house was perfect for our weekend to visit Niagara Falls. The location was quiet and peaceful, the house was clean and spacious. We were able to cook multiple meals and the kids enjoyed the big yard to play in.

Cute and spotless Home

We loved our stay. Home was spotless. Mu daughters loved the Loft. Porch was peaceful. Host left light on for us we didn't arrive until late. Neighborhood was quiet.Will definitely be back if in area.
