Oceanfront home with sweeping views of the coast and the islands, walk to the beach and coffee shops. See whales and dolphins from almost every room and the hot tub. A private peninsula (a former WWII cannon site) provides privacy and whitewater views up and down the coast. Hear the waves at night. Other features include bikes, fire pit, EV charging, and game room. The backyard is entirely fenced - dogs welcome (sorry, no cats.)

Beach Access: The house in located on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Access to the beach is via a set of stairs just down the street. The house comes with stand-up paddle boards, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc.

Events: If you intend on hosting a small group or gathering, before booking or making a reservation, please send an inquiry with a description of your event.

Everything about the property was lovely. The house is well designed for a group gathering. The furnishings and finishes on the house feel very welcoming. The kitchen is so well equipped. The beds comfy. Alex was great to work with, even being flexible when we needed to change dates due to a medical emergency. Highly recommend, beautiful stay.

Amazing & relaxing stay!

Came down to SB for a family spring break trip this home did not disappoint it was amazing! The owner/host was super responsive & very welcoming! The house was first class problem is we never wanted to leave it was so peaceful watching the ocean from the backyard. Very kid friendly we will be back for sure!

Fantastic weekend with the family in Santa Barbara...Alex was great, accommodating an early check-in as possible. House is unbelievable, would absolutely come back and recommend to any friends and family.

Absolutely Wonderful

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. We celebrated a family birthday here with grandparents and a kiddo. Everybody loved it. Plenty of space to spread out, plenty of quiet spaces to work, the yard is fantastic and secure for kids and dogs. Very well equipped and clean. The setting and views are phenomenal .We used Alex’s recommendations for restaurants and activities; all were excellent. We hope to stay here again for another fantastic vacation.

Awesome spot for a family get together.

Great views, great kitchen, well appointed bathrooms and kitchen utensils. The outdoor areas are really nice. Big lawn, garden, hot tub fire pit. Our family had a wonderful time together at this house. Santa Barbara is a great town, in particular, the Funk Zone and the zoo.

Alex and his property manager Shannon made our trip to Santa Barbara one of the best vacations we've had. Not only is the home amazing, but they set everything up to make us feel at home.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this home!! First of all the location and views were incredible! Also the home is extremely clean and cozy. This was great for our family since we brought our newborn on the trip. It was very easy to communicate with the property manager during our stay. I will definitely return with my family.

Wonderful stay

The home quickly became more than just a place to stay for us. It turned into a sanctuary where my siblings, my mom, and I could gather to remember my dad who recently passed awy. The serene surroundings and calming ambiance were just what we needed. The nature outside, the comforts within—every aspect of the home contributed to making a difficult week more bearable.

Beautiful Home with Amazing sunsets and sunrises

Great location with a beautiful backyard and spectacular views. We canceled a few dinner reservations so we could enjoy the home even more. Property manager was very responsive and kind. The home was perfect for taking morning walks, relaxing with friends and soaking in the fabulous weather! Would highly recommend this home.

One of the best views from the house

The house is so well done and has breathtaking views from every room. The entire backyard is so well used to take advantage of the views and also to relax. The game room came in useful for the younger ones to entertain themselves. Very well located , it is a very pleasant walk to the beach . We will consider renting it back some other time.

Absolutely Fantastic!

We booked this amazing home for my husbands 70th birthday, 6 adults and 2 two year olds. Communications with the owners started before our stay and continued when needed during our stay. Questions we had were answered immediately and concerns addressed with great thoughtfulness. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, very comfortable beds, wonderful gathering areas both inside and out but the view was the memory we will all hold with us! We hope to return in the near future.

An Oasis

I can completely understand the other reviews that said they didn't want to leave this place to go anywhere. This house is an oasis, and we didn't want to go anywhere else. My wife and I stayed 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about the stay was perfect. Amazing house, stunning location and views. Close to shopping, restaurants, the marina, and State street, but when you are back at this house you feel completely removed from the world. So peaceful and quiet. It was everything we were hoping for. I can't imagine coming to Santa Barbara and not staying here.

Extraordinary property!

Came from Los Angeles to celebrate my 70th birthday and it was a treat to stay here! The house is large and lovely. The back of the house faces the ocean, with a grassy fenced backyard. Everything inside looks new, very clean, and luxurious. There are terraced areas outside, each with seating and purpose. Then there is the truly unique feature of a promontory. The decor is beautiful, not fussy, but tranquil and comfortable. The photos don’t really do it justice. The Mesa location was wonderful. Taking the sidewalk from the house in either direction lead to parks, which allowed wonderful dog walks without having to drive at all. Please know, there is a sleeper sofa but no beds on the first floor. It is not a house for anyone troubled by stairs (one flight). Truly a special, beautiful property!

Incredible Home

We loved our stay at this home in Mesa! We were traveling with six adults and two young kids. The home was perfect for our family, with ample space to hang together. It is a large home that feels cozy and intimate. Beautiful outdoor space with a fire pit, hot tub, large grass yard and unbelievable views. The location is ideal for access to downtown, Funk Zone and the Wharf without being in touristy-ville. Our only two critiques of the home were that there are lots of small ants that got into the main level (kitchen and powder bathroom). However, I think this is a product of the INCREDIBLE indoor/outdoor living situation. The homeowner left ant traps that we put out which helped. Also, the water pressure was low in the guest bedroom ensuite. But otherwise, fantastic home. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional home

This home is far and away the best rental I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location is perfect. The views are absolutely gorgeous. We saw dolphins and even whales in the distance. The house was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The handbook that the owners left us was full of great information-placed to eat, sites to see and all the things their home has to offer. We didn’t take advantage of it but they have paddle boards, bikes and much more. The hosts even left us snacks, coffee and a bottle of wine. We all enjoyed the game room which had a ping pong table, foosball and a card table. The library had the best books to choose from and there were blankets scattered around the house to stay cozy. The outdoor space was fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. All seating and eating areas were cleaned up for us, including the grill. Overall, the only downfall was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

Incredible home with breathtaking ocean views

My family stayed in this most warm and welcoming home with stunning unobstructed views of the ocean. The home provided so many fun activities for my grandkids ) ages 6 and 9) from a large backyard, to an incredible craft table, along with ping pong, a library with kids books, and a cozy place to watch TV together. We adults couldn't resist just taking in the serenity that the home provided, with a very well stocked kitchen, and again views overlooking the ocean. The host, Alex, was so prompt in answering any questions, thoughtful and kind, and provided a book with such complete suggestions of what to see and do, we realized a return visit is forthcoming. We will definitely return!

In fact, from the house, one can walk or bike along the coast to the wharf, marina, Funk Zone, the Douglas Preserve, Shoreline Park, and downtown's State Street - all without crossing a single street.
