Outstanding Villa with wonderful views

The villa is simply awesome, and is maintained to perfection. The views from the pool area are magnificent, and the pool is well designed and sparkling clean. The whole house is fully air conditioned, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bedrooms are roomy and quiet. I highly recommend this villa.

Family vacation!!

My husband and I, took our daughter, granddaughter and her friend for a week of fun in the sun. The villa was everything stated in the description. Beautiful view to wake up too! Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this villa was amazing!!

The view was ever better than expected. Also, the hosts for this Villa are incredibly kind. I will likely try and return to this Villa every year!!!

Paradise

The photos don’t even begin to do this place justice. The view is spectacular and the ocean and mountains are much closer than they appear in the photos. There is a very private and serene feel as this part of the island is less populated with fewer tourists… We could have literally stayed at the villa all day long floating in the pool (which is possibly the most beautifully designed pool ever) while admiring the jaw-dropping view. The hosts and housekeeper are lovely. The decor was perfect. The home was immaculate. There is also a stunning sidewalk path that runs along the ocean all the way to Toiny (easy 20 minute walk) where you can have lunch or drinks at the beach club or enjoy a more formal dinner at the hotel there. We were sad to leave this paradise and hope to return again soon.

Island gem

Beautiful villa on the quiet side of this tiny island. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. I will definitely be booking this house soon again! We all loved it! Thank you to the gracious owners.

Absolutely wonderful

We loved our stay at this amazing villa. Location was quiet and low key and an easy drive to all of the beaches and restaurants. The villa had everything we needed and more. Daily housekeeper. Homeowner was super responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfection!

Villa la Roche was everything we anticipated it would be, and more. Every review of this place is spot on so I don't want to get redundant here.This was our third trip to St. Barts, and our third villa. While the other villas were special in their own way, Villa La Roche just had the "it" factor. I won't say it all here so as not to ruin the element of surprise, but I will say, you will not regret your visit here. We brought my in laws and my youngest son, 13. We stayed a little over two weeks and loved every second. The pool, obviously amazing, but the Sonos sound system was every thing. Also, the owners are so warm and welcoming and the housekeeper is the best we've ever experienced anywhere. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Villa and Owners

The place is perfect, everything works, wonderful Sonos, TV, AC in every room. The property itself is beautiful! Very peaceful and well done, from the layout to the lighting everything was outstanding!! We will stay here again

Honeymoon Stay

My wife and I rented this villa for our honeymoon. We could not be happier with the outcome of our stay. We absolutely loved out villa. We loved it so much we stayed at the villa, swimming and lying out in the sun until we had to leave in the early evening for our flight. The villa was very private, which was perfect for our honeymoon. We loved the pool area. Leon did an excellent job constructing it (He built this villa himself)! Modern feel inside the villa, but not overly done. Every room is air conditioned, which is a must is St. Barths. Very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all of the tools/ingredients you will need for your stay (pots/pans, cooking utensils, seasonings). All 3 bedrooms are set apart from each other enough so if you are vacationing with your family or other couples, you will have you space. Leon also installed colored lamps under the beds to make things festive ;). Leon and Lawrence were so nice. Whatever we needed they were there to help. Could not ask for better people to rent from. As for location, it was only a 11 minute drive into Gustavia. Everything is so close, so if your are worried about being so far away, don't! I am sure we will be back someday for an our yearly trip, when we do, we will be contacting Leon and Laurence.

Quite Simply....the Perfect Villa in St. Barth

Villa La Roche Dans L’Eau is the perfect vacation villa on St. Barts. Seriously, when drawing up a checklist of every amenity and feature our family was looking for in a warm tropical getaway, every box was checked (and exceeded). We have now stayed there two years in a row (and will next year too) and the villa is as beautiful as the pictures on the site are. Highlights for us. 1) Natural Beauty – the Villa offers spectacular ocean views of Grand Fond, unmatched views of the stars at night, and great privacy (unlike some other parts of the island where villas are on top of one another). 2) Family Friendly Pool – with its beach entry design, the heated pool was perfect for our young children . Many of the other villas we looked at in St. Barts had plunge pools that got very deep very quickly. Trust me, the pool is amazing, just like the VRBO description says 3) Modern Kitchen & Outdoor Gas Grill – it was really nice to have a modern kitchen and gas grill available for cooking on days when we wanted to stay in or cook ourselves a casual meal (or even grilled lobster). 4) Wifi Internet & Satellite TV– completely wired with WiFi and a Sonos sound system that allowed us to play music throughout the house. The house also has Satellite DishTV and DVR that allowed us to watch NFL football on Sunday (may not matter to those esacping civilization) 5) Décor – sleek, modern design with great attention to detail. The bedrooms had ample closet space, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, etc. 6) Service – A cleaning woman came every day to keep the place in order and the owners Leon and Laurence were always available if anything came up. They helped with anything we could possibly need including a crib for our youngest as well as a baby sitter recommendation for those not traveling with a nanny. They were also able to recommend of a personal chef to come by and cook a catered meal for our group that was exquisite and which we would highly recommend (be sure to ask if you book here). That meal was better than any meal we went out for on the Island. 7) Location/Privacy-I think the privacy and location of Grand Fond was a real draw for us. St. Barts is not huge, so everything is generally close by, but we loved the undisturbed feel of this part of the island, while still being 5-10 minutes from our favorite beaches. We would recommend this place unequivocally to anyone visiting St. Barts.

Excellent in al levels

This is our fourth time in the island and first time in a villa. We had always stayed in a hotel. have to say I dont think I will ever be staying in a hotel again. The villa is perfect, the VIEW is amazing and the owner Leon is a great guy. I cant find anything wrong about this place I truly think this place is a gem in St Barth and will definitely be coming back. Best of luck

Best vacation of our lives

My wife and I just returned (sadly) from this piece of paradise. We were setting out to find a private spot for our trip. This is exactly what we found here. The island of St. Bart's is fabulous, the food exquisite, and this villa "the best of it all". For us the view was spectacular, the weather fantastic, the set up perfect; but our favorite part was the privacy, allowing us to be ourselves inside and out of the villa. Leon, Henri, and Nadine were as welcoming and helpful as can be imagined--such nice people. We honestly have no issues or regrets what so ever. If you want the perfect vacation spot--this place is for you.

An Amazing villa

This was my wife and my 15th visit to St. Barths and La Roche dans l'eau was by far the best villa we've ever stayed at. The pool was amazing. The view was gorgeous. It was quiet and had no bugs! We definitely will return to this villa (a first for us--we neve repeat a villa until this one!)

Incredible House

The house is better than the description. The place and views are amazing. There is a person coming daily to clean the house. Léon, the owner was helpful and very freindly. You will have a perfect vacation in a paradise. The three rooms at the villa are very similar and nice. We were three couples and nobody complained about the rooms. It was all new. Fantastic.

Perfect vacation

We had a wonderful stay at La Roche dans l'Eau. The location was very peaceful and quiet, yet close to some of the best restaurants on the island. The view overlooking the fabulous pool to the ocean was magnificent, as were the gardens, even lovelier than the photos. Very well equipped kitchen. The owners were welcoming and helpful. All in all, a perfect vacation and we highly recommend this villa.

La Roche Dans L'eau

It has been a fantastic experience for my wife and I, as well as, my son and his wife to spend a week at your villa at Grand-Fond. You have been an excellent host and a great person to get to know. We had a magnificent time at St Barts thanks to you and your hospitality. The villa was most beautiful, the views were magnificent. We miss it already, it sure felt like we were at home. You have been wonderfull and like a long time friend. We could not have picked a better place.We will be listening to your CD and remembering the great time we had. The residents of St Barts were very friendly and always in good humour. No surprise they live on a paradise.
