Loved it so much that we decided to go back for a second stay. It was just as great as our 1st stay and we hope to visit again soon.

We had a great stay at Cypher Cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The lake view was gorgeous! We spent hours outside on the deck, in the backyard, on the dock, on the lake. Such a great place to relax and recharge. The hosts were very friendly, communicating was easy. The nearby town of Lewiston is super friendly, relaxed, clean, several nice restaurants, and some shops. Beautiful area!

We were thankful to book this cabin for one night, as we toured across Northern Michigan. It provided everything we needed and we loved the “Up North” vibes. Peaceful, clean, and convenient.

Communication with the hosts prior to our arrival was excellent. We were able to check in a little early which is always nice when traveling. Cabin was clean and accomodating. We enjoyed the nice large deck and the views of the lake. I brought my kayak and enjoyed the peaceful and calm throughout our stay. Also did some fishing and enjoyed all the wildlife. The evenings were the absolute best and we were able to enjoy the bonfires we had each night. The only downside of our trip was that the lot next door was being excavated and construction was taking place basically all day and in some cases well into the evening. We realize that is nobody’s fault however it would have been much more relaxing and peaceful vacation if that was not going on while we were there.

The renovations add a modern touch to the feel of a rustic cabin and the bass fishing was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

Got in very late, the address when you open it in Apple Maps takes you to the neighbors but we figured it out! Very clean, very cute, and cozy. We plan to rent this cabin again when we make another trip up!

Lewiston trip

Peaceful and quaint is just one of many wonderful qualities about this property. The cabin is adorable, clean and fully stocked with everything you need. We had such a great time, we utilized the lake in the provided boat, relaxed on the deck, had a fire, and made so many great memories. Owners were informative and kind, check in was effortless. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Comfy Cabin in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean and neat, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Nice amenities in both the kitchen and bathroom. The location is convenient to town and numerous lakes. We loved sitting outside, enjoying the peace and quiet, and gazing at the lake. Easy check-in, and quick, helpful communication with the hosts. Highly recommended!

Lovely cottage

Loved the peaceful feeling, the wildlife, and the charming cottage. It was the best stocked Vrbo home we have been in, which was very nice. Jeri was easy to personally communicate with, as well. Would like to come back!

Best of Both Worlds

Adorable little cabin w/the charm and coziness of a "Cabin Up North"....then you walk into the BEAUTIFUL addition which gives you the modern comforts and feel of 5 a resort.Unfortunately Mother Nature prevented us from utilizing the amazing newly constructed deck overlooking Big Wolf Lake. VERY NICE!!!Will definitely visit again if visiting the Lewiston area

Would not recommend staying here in the summer. I knew there was no air conditioning in the listing but thought being on the lake, at night, with the windows open, it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is, the bedroom windows were sealed shut, and it was 78-80 degrees in the house even with the patio doors open. I politely asked the owners if they could turn the air on (there are units) and the reply was a sarcastic response about how I didn't read the listing. Speaking of the listing, the photos are deceptive. The lake looks more like a swamp right now, and the photos conveniently left out all the deer and antlers on the walls. Also, 4 towels for three people for four nights was inconvenient. The listing says one of the bedrooms had two queens, which isn't the case.Over all, good price but didn't know we'd be sweltering all night without the windows opening.
