Really outstanding location and property. Spacious house, well equipped, very clean. Amazing view from porch. If you're into birdwatching and hiking, this is the place for you. You won't find a better launch pad for three trails starting at the nearby trailhead. So peaceful.

The host was great! She responded quickly and was very respectful and kind. The view from the deck of the house was amazing. I had breakfast at the patio table as the sun rose and that alone made the trip great. The game room was fun and the couches downstairs were comfy. The place is in great shape. I did the Catamount trail the following morning, it was really easy to get to from the property. I recommend staying here in you need a weekend mountain getaway.

This property was accurate in the photos and the description. The property was clean and the host (Amanda) did everything in her power to accommodate one of the requests we made. The home is truly in the mountains, we had a Jeep Wagoneer, so getting there was no problem. The roads are steep leading to the property so be prepared. If you arrive after dark, drive slow. Lots of wildlife. We saw a ton of birds, primarily blue jays and magpies. We did see 10-12 wild turkeys cross the road by the property early in the morning of our departure. Lots of other wildlife in the area. Keep your car locked, windows all the way up and food free to avoid any issues. This house easily accommodated 6 people and our 10lb aussie doodle. We appreciated the pet friendly nature of the property. The views from the deck were amazing! We enjoyed the full moon when we were there. The home is a stone's throw from one of the trailheads. Be ready for some great hiking! We had a great time and the property is in a beautiful setting up against the mountains. We enjoyed our stay and the host was easy to work with! Very attentive and responsive! If you are looking for a remote home w/ great views and easy access to trails this is the one for you! It is close to Woodland Park if you are looking for restaurants. The Pantry in Green Mountain Falls is about 2 minutes away by car. They serve breakfast & lunch only. No dinner. The food is good. This property delivered what it advertised! We will stay here again!

I love the location of this home. It sits high on the mountain, so the views are spectacular. There are some wonderful hikes in the area. And after the hike, you get to come back to this beautiful deck and relax and enjoy the view. Amanda is very responsive to any questions for concerns. Great place to stay for hiking and relaxing,

The house is in a beautiful location and directions were easy to follow to find the property. We knew from the description that there would be a lot of stairs to get to the property, but just know that the stairs are not for the elderly or anyone out of shape. The decor is on the "vintage" side. There were plenty of beds, but the kitchen was pretty small. The upstairs shower was super small and my husband did not have much room in it. The main level shower was average size. We loved the deck as it provided some gorgeous views, but just know that there are several neighbor houses nearby that are also in your view. You could sometimes hear the waterfall, but you could also hear the traffic on the main road. If you're looking for the mountain views, you can't beat this place. But if you want more modern amenities and decor, you might want to look at other places in the area.

The parking was a little tricky due to the mountain side. You had to walk down to the house from the parking space. The upstairs bedroom was cold. You only had fake sugar for the coffee. Other than that everything was great.

Perfect setting for old college friends reunion

this was the perfect setting for a college reunion of old friends from nearly 40 years ago. It was a beautiful setting to sit on the porch, surrounded by beautiful mountains and trees and creatures and converse and catch up. The building in accommodations were perfect, and we enjoyed cooking for ourselves With all the necessary amenities.

Hiking heaven!

Excellent property with everything one would need. Pictures were accurate and property owner was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The road up is a steep, dirt road that washes out a bit with rain; however we did not have any issues accessing with a minivan even with heavy rain. Nearby hiking trails are amazing! I would definitely stay again. Great location and great property if you are looking for a nature retreat.

Very Cute Place!

We loved our little cabin in Green Mountains. There was a lot of thought and work put into it for sure. We even played connect four! I hadn't played that since I was a kid. We enjoyed the views from the back deck too. Thank you for making our stay great!

Beautiful deck and view

At first approach I was a bit concerned about the drive up the steep hill to reach the property. But once there, was rewarded with a wonderful view. I spent many hours on the deck bird watching and relaxing. Amanda (host) quickly responded to any concerns/needs I had during my stay.

Reunion getaway

My wife and my adult children spent a week in this mountain getaway for a family reunion. There was plenty to do in the area for people of all ages including hiking, kayaking, dining (loved the Pantry), sightseeing (Garden of the Gods was spectacular) and shopping. This location was not a gathering spot for our group because of limited parking but was extremely scenic and fit our needs well as a family. The view from the back porch is to die for. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Amanda.

Beautiful Mountain Home

Everything was as expected. Great home. Lots of room. Everything you need for a wonderful trip. The online posting says smoking in designated areas. After booking we found out it was for marijuana only. No tobacco. Glad we aren’t tobacco smokers but the listing should be more clear. Other than that everything else is perfect and I would stay again.

Just about perfect

This home was just about perfect for my family. It had plenty of beds and space to relax. It was clean and tastefully decorated. It was stocked with bedroom, bath, and kitchen necessities, and more! The furniture was comfortable enough, and the TV in the game room was very large. Internet access was adequate. My husband and sons really enjoyed playing with the foosball table. I used the host's helpful suggestions and the provided Colorado information to help plan our activities. The stairs leading to the home gave us a good workout but are well-maintained. :) The deck is great! Really, one of the best things about this home, though, is the view of the mountains that it provides. It is gorgeous! The home is just a quarter mile from a waterfall and trails. It is close to a lot of attractions, restaurants, and stores. Amanda, the host, quickly and kindly answered my questions. The check-in and check-out procedures were simple and reasonable. We loved our stay!
