Updated Boho condo, dock your boat or enjoy the Conroe Lake views from your deck

Just steps to the beautiful Lake Conroe waters, this newly renovated condo is waiting for you to enjoy. Close to The Woodlands and just 50 minutes to George Bush Intercontinental airport come and enjoy yourselves in a comfortable and fully equipped home away from home. Rent or bring your boat, jet ski, and fishing gear, or simply just yourselves to unwind and enjoy watching the sunset while sipping your favorite drink, swimming in one of the many pools, barbecuing in the back, or whatever floats your boat. Enjoy the lake and country club lifestyle with golf, tennis, and pickleball all within a short walk.

The space
This condo has been lovingly renovated into a modern and cozy boho oasis with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We allow guests up to 6 people and can comfortably sleep 6.

The living room has its own new Roku smart TV and Bluetooth sound system with access to apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, & Disney+. Internet access throughout the home is also included.

The living room has an assortment of board games, cards, and Scrabble for more relaxed evenings.
Work from home with an updated office area that includes an area to hook your laptop to the provided monitor or use it as another viewing area for kids or gamers to play.

The Primary bedroom has a new plush queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds and is tucked upstairs with a modern spiral staircase leading the way.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, appliances, silverware, dinnerware, pots/pans and basic cooking spices, a new fridge, and a coffee/tea station.

Bathrooms have cruelty-free, vegan shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided including a hair dryer and straightener.

NOTE: The condo sits 100 feet from Lake Conroe and the community boat ramp is only 5 minutes down the road.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the house and property except for a closet for the owner's/house cleaner's use. There is plenty of parking around the unit for guests to use.

To maintain security the house has an exterior ring doorbell, none inside.

Overall a wonderful experience. Great communication with our host. Easy getting in and out of the community. Did not get to try the pool but maybe next time. The condo was clean and very relaxing.

The hosts were nothing short of amazing. They were very responsive, I never had to wait any longer than a few minutes for an answer to a question in regards to the stay. They weee extremely kind and I would definitely book with them again.

Fun gated community off Lake Conroe. First time in the area, just off the highway with easy access to restaurants, shops, anywhere you want to go. Had a great time lounging on the L shaped couch, cooking in the clean kitchen, doing laundry in the unit, staying cool with AC for downstairs & upstairs, and sitting on the balcony when the humidity was low. Didn’t end up accessing the two pools but one very close to the unit, you do not hear the activity in other units nor kids playing at the pool. You can see parts of the lake from the backside of the unit. Highly recommend as a gathering place especially for families where the parents have their own room downstairs & the kids can have the loft of 3 beds. Attentive host if you need anything, we did not need a thing. For cooks: the kitchen is bare bones with some spices but you’ll need to get your own flour, sugar, butter, sauces, etc.

Great stay

Place was perfect for us… you do have to check in with a guard to get in the neighborhood, but it was pretty simple. Kitchen and living room are great for a small group

Amazing Host, family fun all around. So much to do, and just relax and enjoy each other. open and airy, lots of room, I have 5, the bonus, and futures all together and didn't feel like any of us were crowded or on top of each other any where. 1 bathroom, but it works. Right next to the pool, and a few steps to the boardwalk to fish. A short drive to the club and aquatic driving range lots of fun. Deanne is amazing and def understands big family vibes, and genuinely cares about family bonding time. We def will be back but for a week next time. New fave lake vacay spot.

Weeklong stay while visiting the Texas Baseball Ranch

The place was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent. It was just perfect for us with the location and amenities. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Excellent Place

This VRBO is a great place to stay. It is clean and is equipped with everything that you need. It has a high-end washer and dryer, as well as anything you need in the kitchen, including the Keruig!

Wonderful stay

Deanne and Russell were wonderful hosts and easy to reach quickly for any questions. The place was simply and tastefully designed and we had everything we needed. Very comfortable and fun. Great spot and kind neighbors. We’d love to come back one day!

We just stayed in this condo the past weekend and had a great time. It is in a very quiet neighborhood with security/gated access and is next to a golf course. There is a boardwalk next to the lake where we watched several large herons that were fishing in the lake. There are several restaurants near the condo; we went to one on Lake Conroe that had delicious food and live music. The condo has a main bedroom and a large loft area with multiple beds and a desk. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and was stocked with all the cooking equipment and spices that we needed. The living room area has access to a deck where you read and also can see the lake and the pool area. We had a very nice time and would rent here again!

Relaxing Getaway

The condo itself was beautiful and clean when we arrived. The surrounding area was calm and easy to traverse. We had no issues settling in and finding our way around the place, despite it being a gated community. The owners were super friendly and quickly responded to any of our questions. I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Lovely, Well Decorated Place

We frequent Lake Conroe, generally several times per year. We usually stay in Walden, but sometimes in April Sound. This condo was well equipped, comfortable, and nicely updated and decorated. I love the cathedral ceilings. The back balcony was a plus. The only down side for older or handicapped guests is the stairs. Besides that, I would highly recommend to anyone.

We started coming to Lake Conroe a few years ago and just fell in love with the gated community of April Sound! Once we saw the condo of our dreams, we remodeled it with a swanky modern boho vibe. The condo is clean and tranquil. Be one of the first to enjoy all the new furniture and amenities!

Whether you are a golfer, boater, or fishing enthusiast, April Sound has it all. Just a short walk to the beautiful country club overlooking the lake. With amenities such as a dock for tieing up your boat while you relax inside or the tennis and pickleball courts to the many pools, there is just too much to choose from.
