Perfect location

San Juan proper can get a bit touristy, so with this property being just slightly further out we were able to get all the benefits of San Juan with more of a local vibe.

Excellent stay

Thank you for hosting me and my friend! We had a great time and you made the process very smooth. The only problem we had was getting the actual address as the address Vrbo provided brought us to the wrong place. But other than that no problems thank you!

Great spot for a Puerto Rico base camp

The property was super cute and clean and the host responded quickly and with clear instructions. We loved walking to the local bakery, the supermarket, and el Pollo Loco. Issues I read other people had... The pin spot the host sends you with the check in instructions takes you where you need to go, not the VRBO address so use that and you'll have no problems. The dryer worked well, you just need to turn the gas on (located directly next to the dryer). Thanks so much for letting us stay!

WEEKEND GET AWAY

The place was clean and up to date. The host was very accommodating. With saying that, it was very hard to find. Location not where is said it would be on the website. Thought it was closer to the water. There wasn't any hot water and the dryer wasn't working. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and get around the area we wanted to explore.

Worse vacation experience

Owner is rude, the stay accommodate 6 but he dont have availability for 6 people. He ask us to request a refund and we did it, he has been unresponsive to the app support and to us, stealing our money. The location is not accurate. Don't recommend this place at all. Also if you requested a refund you have to wait that the property manager complete it if not you loose your money

No windows in rooms - in the middle of a massive outage in PR -Host no longer responded to our texts

We were unable to stay, due to a massive power outage in PR and having to relocate in the middle of the power outage to another location in Carolina, PR because that other location did have windows and be being asthmatic, I was unable to stay in this house. Needless to say, the host never answered our texts or calls after stating our issue and we just wanted to know if we could get reimbursed due to me being asthmatic and unable to stay in the house since this house had no windows in the rooms to ventilate. Very unhappy with my experience and my family's experience those 3 hours we stayed in the house suffocating from the heat.

This comment and or review docent represents us. Guest Valerie never said anything about being asthmatic at any moment and the outage was for very small time. This asthmatic reason was given after leaving to Vrbo, just to justify the reimbursement. Nor less that this events are out of our hands, we did had communication and Valerie did not give it some time for the power to come back and rushed into moving to some place else. We are sorry that in PR we have had this power issues, but its something we can't control. We do let people know that the place docent have generator, but is a new gorgeous place, with AC on the complete apt for a great price per night, washer and dryer, complete kitchen, etc... and close to a Wonderfull beach area "Piñones" Many blessings.

Impossible address

The actual rental was nice & new. The address was impossible to enter on Uber. The first ride from the airport cost is $87 simply because we couldn’t find the address or reach anyone to get the proper address. Granted it was 3am when we landed. We continuously had the same issue when trying to return to the rental on the following nights. The next issue was that the property was connected to a nail salon & we were awaken at 7am sharp every morning with loud talking, laughter & chemical smells. It really seemed as if they were inside of the house with us.. We thought someone had walked in.. There were not linens for six as listed. My niece would have like to sleep on the fold out couch but didn’t have a blanket to do so. Overall I wouldn’t stay at this listing again simply because of the location. It’s too hard to find unless you’re familiar with area.

We are sorry for the transportation inconvenience. It's the first time that happens because all other guests have come to the property with no problem. Nor less in PR the Uber service is not that strong on hours from 12am to 5am, in all the island. On the arriving time, as you told us you guys arrived at 3 am we sent the address and google pin the day before in case we couldn't be reached at that hour. In other hand the property dose have linens for up to 6 guests, but you booked for 4 guests and there is a charge for every guest after 4. That's why we did not leave the linens for the couch. I know that if you guys didn't had the transportation problem you would it loved it better because is very good location to go either San Juan, El Yunque, or the East Cost to Vieques and Culebra. We hope next time you are in PR, renting a car is easier and more convenient. Thanks for staying with us. Take care.
