The perfect beach house! Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 4 children (11-13). The view of the lake is breathtaking and there’s easy access to the beach. We took a day trip to Mackinac Island and dinner at Pond Hill Farm. Star gazing in the evenings and if you are unfortunate to have to do some remote work the wi-fi is great

This beautiful home right on the shores of Lake Michigan is a fabulous getaway. We loved the private beach where we could walk out in the water because the lake bottom there was sand instead of rocks! The views are spectacular, the home is very clean with everything you need. Shopping and restaurants are nearby in Harbor Springs. Fresh vegetables at Cross Village farmers market. Thank you so much for allowing our siblings to spend a wonderful week together.Hope to come back next year!

We loved our stay and plan to rent this house again in the future. The views were spectacular! We enjoyed playing catch phrase with family at night. Loved the beautiful sunsets and walking along the beach. Pearsons restaurant in Harbor Springs has fantastic food. Can’t wait to come back.

Great Lake House stay

Wonderful stay along Lake Michigan. Views from the house were great. Quiet street with relaxing “get away from it all” vibe. Just about 25 min dive to charming beach town of harbor springs. Great stay!

Beautiful view

What a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Breath taking to look out at the sandy beach. That you can walk along and the water was very shallow and private. Great place for family and friend's getaway.

Spectacular location, views, and general atmosphere!Lots to do and see in the area, but also just as good to hang and enjoy the beach and water.We had a few minor concerns early on, but Elizabeth was always quick to respond, and all went smoothly.I would recommend this site, and come back again in the future.

Beach House and Sand Dune Getaway

This is an amazing hidden gem. Beautiful location right on Lake Michigan. House is perfect and Elizabeth the host was the best I had ever booked with. This is near the “tip of the mitt” so quick access to forts, Mackinaw Island and the bridge. Overall wonderful experience.

My extended family and I stayed at this beautiful home last week for four days and it was an out of this world experience! First of all, part of our family had a major change of plans and couldn't make the trip when I initially scheduled it for mid June and could only come if it was switched to July. I immediately contacted the host, Elizabeth, to see if there was anything we could do. She was super helpful and worked with us, contacting Vrbo because there was an issue on Vrbo's end which was up charging us for switching dates. Elizabeth handled it promptly and was very communicative. This saved the day since now all of us we were able to attend this once in a lifetime family trip together. The house and views are amazing with huge windows that make you feel like you are outside on the beach when you are sitting in the living room. We would keep the screen door open and listen to the waves lapping and in that beautiful setting it was just out of this world. Like a slice of heaven really! I could feel my tension and stress melting away being in this space. The patio had ample chairs to sit on and catch some sun without leaving the house. The home was clean and well stocked with shampoo/soaps and cleaning items for us to use and good quality toilet tissue, also. I have been to several Vrbo homes in the past...this was my absolute favorite and Elizabeth was the easiest and most pleasant host to work with. Highly recommend this special spot...you won't regret it!

Grocery stores are 45 minutes away. If you have a large vehicle parking is challenging Owner is not available so if you have any issues you have to get in contact with VRBO who are also hard to contact

Beautiful sunsets

The location is great with sweeping views of the lake, a beautiful walking beach in both directions and easy access to hiking trails. The house is very attractively furnished and extremely comfortable, with a great layout that maximizes the truly spectacular views and beautiful sunsets over the water. All in all, a delightful place to stay. A few concerns: The kitchen which, while well-appointed otherwise, had only minimal cookware of aluminum and scratched teflon. Not ideal if you plan on doing alot of cooking. The house was clean overall but cleaners missed a few areas such as grimy oven and oven pan, and outdoor grill and food remnants on the back porch. Night-time lighting was a little scanty in the main living-room area. Despite these minor draw-backs, the house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. We were late in checking out and expected a small sur-charge, but were, in fact, charged a wildly exorbitant amount for the time. That was an unpleasant surprise.

Beautiful Home

The house is terrific, property is beautiful, views are magnificent. Just wanted to leave some honest feedback regarding our experience with this property. The property was booked and paid in full on 12/31/23 for a stay in August, 2024. We then received a message on 5/20/24 (5 months later) stating renovations had been done on the home, that there was now an extra room, and that there would be an additional payment of another 40% on top of the initially listed and paid in full price. Also of note, the message stated that if we did not agree to the new terms, that we, the customer, should cancel the reservation. In my research and discussions with hosts whom I know personally, this is not a typical request, and may in fact go against guidelines. In the spirit of not ruining the much anticipated vacation, we paid the new balance and proceeded with the trip. The home is lovely. The area and property are beautiful, but the experience left us feeling a little vulnerable and was a reminder of the lack of protections for customer/renters on the platform. So, while we had a lovely weekend, we were somewhat dissatisfied with the transaction as whole.

This property is exceptional. It is a beautiful home nestled in beach dunes with a wide sandy beach. A natural setting, it has beach grass and wildflowers to enjoy. It has a sandy bottom for swimming with an excellent sandbar for children. You can walk for miles on the beach or along the private road. You can easily walk to the Wilderness State Park.It has three floors, with a bunk room on the ground floor, three bedrooms on the first floor, and living spaces on the second floor. The first and the second floors have fantastic western facing views of the beach, the dunes, and Lake Michigan. Each floor has a very nice bathroom with showers.The host is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. She is also very accommodating. She presents an extremely clean property. She provides everything that you will need for cooking. Her bed linens are cotton blend. She provides heaps and piles of towels and beach towels. The Property has a sofa and chairs plus a table for six on the deck. There are also two lounge chairs on the second deck, and four very nice folding chairs to take to the beach. A storage chest on the third deck houses beach toys for the kids.We would certainly return to this beautiful property for our next Michigan vacation. Do not miss this great opportunity!
