Steps across the street to beach access. Quicker to carry stuff to beach then put in car and drive over. Place was clean, spacious and comfortable. Pool was an added bonus, lots of space and great area to hang out. I would definitely come back to this place again. Perfect for a large group because the unit is a duplex. Owners responded to all my questions immediately, you can tell they care about the place and your experience.

This stay was pretty nice! The main advantages are the pool (shared with downstairs tenant) and how close you are to the beach! Besides that, the house is a decent stay and works! Very bright colors inside. The property is a little dated in the sense that it’s an older home that has been gutted and renovated, but functionally that is not a problem! Only thing to be wary of is there are only 3 parking spaces available and the pull in to the spot is a decent grade, so make sure to use your parking brake lol! Host was very responsive and great with communicating. The listing is accurate to what you get.

Overall, it was a decent place to stay and the location was hard to beat — being that close to the beach access was definitely the highlight!The house is very spacious, which was great and gave us plenty of room to spread out. We didn’t use the pool because it was usually occupied by the downstairs guests (it’s a duplex), so I can’t really give an honest review of that unless you’re looking for a spectator sport. The half bathroom was probably my favorite quirk. There’s no actual light in there — just a leaning floor lamp. Nothing says “bathroom” quite like having to turn on a lamp that looks like it wandered in from the living room. Parking is on an incline leading up to the main road, so if your car has trust issues with hills, just be prepared.All in all, it wasn’t fancy, but it was spacious, close to the beach, and perfectly suitable for laying our heads down after a day in the sun. And honestly, when the beach is that close, you don’t spend much time worrying about the lamp anyway!

The Sunshine house and host were great! It had all the listed amenities, clean, an awesome pool with lights, and had nice cold A/C. Had no issues and would stay again.

Selfie friendly-ish

We booked this rental for our daughter's 14th birthday. One of the things she was excited about the most was all of the neon signs to take pictures. When we got there, none of them worked. Maintenance did come to fix some other issues and was able to fix one sign. Later we noticed that the wires for the sign at the pool were complete corroded so it didn't work either. The sign itself is about melted from the sun any way. My daughter still had a good birthday, but hardly any selfies were taken in this Selfie-friendly rental. It's a decently renovated building amd will give you a nice, close place right off the beach with great access.

Maintenance was able to fix one of the signs, but I wasn’t aware of the corrosion on the pool sign or that the signs had been damaged by the sun. Thank you again for your review. The GOOD parts: Check in was fine, but don't hold your breath to get in early at all. Cleaners were there right up until 4pm (which is fine. Check in is listed at 4pm). The location is great! Literally across the street from the beach & can be there in minutes. The unit was nice & large with lots of natural lighting & space.The BAD parts: Parking is rough. You get 3 spots only which, for a until that sleeps 10 is challenging. We had 4 cars between us and finding parking was really tough. Street parking is 4.00/hr and you can't park overnight (no parking between 12am-5am). We drove around looking for other options but couldn't find any. Messaged the host asking for help only to be told "You would have to check for public parking that allows overnight parking". Not helpful. We were disappointed that several things specifically listed in the kitchen description were not there, most notable wine glasses and salt & pepper. Our options for our wine were coffee mugs or water glasses. Listing said to bring spices because "S&P is the only thing provided", except it wasn't. I didn't feel that it was adequately stocked for linens. The towels were super cheap and thin and small (think cheap hotel type) and there were NO extras! No towels in bathrooms, NO tissues/kleenex, & we ran out of TP. Also, there are no towel rod, racks, hooks, or anywhere to hang towels. The shared bathroom's light was broken so there was a full blown living room floor lamp inside the tiny bathroom.

I want to clarify that I never received any mention of missing wine glasses during your stay, and I only provide one set of towels per guest as noted in the listing. While I understand expectations can differ, I aim to provide average-quality supplies to ensure a comfortable stay. Regarding parking, it is clearly stated that there are only 3 parking spots available, and when you asked about additional parking, I was honest that I didn’t have information about nearby options available at that time.
