The cabin was a great place to stay and relax! Communication with the host was excellent.

Hi Mya, Thank you again for choosing Chestnut Cabin. We truly appreciate you staying with us. If I may offer a small suggestion for your future travels, please make sure to list the correct number of guests when making a reservation. Your booking was for 2 guests, but there were actually 4 staying at the cabin. Having an accurate guest count helps hosts prepare the property properly and ensures everything is ready for everyone. I also wanted to say I was a little disappointed to receive a 4-star review, especially since we work very hard to provide every guest with a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, we did have to retain part of the security deposit because several towels were heavily stained and had to be replaced. Regardless, we appreciate your feedback and wish you and your family all the best.

Relaxing

We took a boys trip to Pigeon Forge to play baseball. This cabin hit the spot for accommodations and proximity to the field. It’s tucked away conveniently out of the hustle and bustle, but close to everything Pigeon Forge. It’s cozy, comfortable, and fun. It beats a hotel hands down. Communication, and availability were top notch. We will stay again on future trips.

weekend in the Smokies

We were pleasantly surprised by this cute cabin. It is clean, well appointed with many unexpected perks, The location was quiet and private but close to the attractions. We always appreciate when hosts label important features. We do not have children, but there are many items that are directed towards kids. The host was helpful and supportive. I know we will be staying here the next time we come down.

We Love Chestnut Cabin

We are returning guests from consecutive years. Chestnut cabin has the best host, location & mountain cabin feel. We stay here yearly, because we love it that much!!! The host is the sweetest!!! We appreciate the hospitality!

WE RETURNED:)

We had the best time! This was our 2nd time staying in this sweet, cozy cabin! It was just as perfect this time as it was the last! Always clean and has everything we need! So much thought is put into the accommodations and amenities. The hosts are always such a joy to work with and honestly it feels like we are staying with family!

Excellent

This was our second time at the chestnut cabin, it is our top favorite place to stay in the SMOKIES! Could not ask for better host! Convenient location, very clean, & has everything you need! I feel like we are family with the host! Such a blessing to find this cabin!

The property was great! Very clean and extra touches everywhere. Laundry soap was provided, we’ve never had that at a VRBO. Also, lots of extras in the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips etc. Again, not expected but what a great personal touch. We played pool every night and it was easy to log into our accounts on the tv. The cabin brochure helped a lot, along with signs where things were. This is also something we haven’t seen at other properties. Marcel was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. He truly wants his visitors to have a wonderful stay. We went hiking and had a lot of fun. The hot tub was great! Highly recommend!!

3 Generation Girls Getaway

Marcel was very helpful in making sure that we were able to check into the Cabin easily. He was very responsive with every question I asked. The cabin was very comfortable. It was like home! My almost 2 year old granddaughter took naps easily in the 1st floor space. It was nice and dark for her. Marcel had a playpen and highchair for her to use. Everything you could want or need was in the Cabin. It was very refreshing to rent a place that was fully equipped! The Island with the Smoky Mountain Sky Wheel was only a short ride away from the cabin. Ober Mountain was also a short ride away. We had a wonderful long weekend. By the way I played (the baby watched and tried to play) pool and Pac-Man while my daughter worked. The internet worked great for her to work. I will definitely refer my friends if they are looking for a place near Pigeon Forge.
