Beach House
Welcome to the newly renovated Beach House! This two bedroom, one bathroom rancher is just 4 blocks to the free beaches of the Delaware bay. Enjoy a cool summer night on the front porch. Inside you’ll find your beach escape. The beautiful open living area and kitchen greet you upon entry. The couch opens into a queen size bed. There is a 55” smart TV on an adjustable mount above a beautiful freshwater aquarium. There are 3 seats at the kitchen counter and a table for enjoying snacks and meals. There is ample cabinet space for all your goodies. - French doors lead out to a relaxing sitting area with a and fire pit. Back inside you’ll find a large deep Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom along with plenty of soft and fluffy towels. There is a 24” smart TV mounted above the door to take your spa time to the next level! The guest bedroom features two twin XL beds with a secret – they’re both adjustable with massage! There is a wired closet organizer along with a dresser for plenty of storage space. A 24” smart TV is on top of the dresser and there is a wall mounted 55” TV with a PlayStation 4, bring your own games to enjoy! The master bedroom has a queen sleigh bed, a wooden closet organizer plus a tall dresser for all your storage needs. A wall mounted 55” smart TV is ready for use.

The majority of the house is smart capable via Google assist. The lights - living room, kitchen, bathroom, kitchen cabinet lights, bathroom nightlight. The kitchen cabinet lights and bathroom nightlight can be customized to different colors. The living room and kitchen ceiling fans are voice controlled. There is a Ring doorbell/camera at the front door and 4 additional outdoor security cameras. There are NO indoor cameras. There are 2 offstreet parking spaces available along with on-street parking. The garage, outbuilding, and stone driveway are not included with rental. We stay in the back yard .. so we’re here to help 24 seven if you need anything . We ask that you please remove your shoes upon entering. No parties. No smoking. No pets. Host stays on property . In the back . In a tiny home . Property has 9 cameras . 2 on each corner of the house and one ring doorbell . :) .

I only gave one star because there was no other option.The house was as advertised on the site. The first thing that hit us was the strong smell of cigarette, my husband who has bad allergies went outside of the property to get fresh air. In less than one hour we left the property and lost all of the money we paid to stay there. I reached out to the host and he did and was responding to me immediately. He denied that the place smelled like cigarettes smoke. We paid more than 800 dollars and lost it all, no offer for made for a refund.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, and the neighborhood quiet. The only modification we would make is to have a bigger bath mat, so no one slips when getting out of the shower/tub. It seemed like having a TV in the bathroom was more of a priority. The host is somewhat responsive.

Three of us ladies had a wonderful stay here. It was a pleasurable location, a quiet quaint neighborhood, and the space was cozy, clean, and comfortable!

Owners provided clear instructions and were very responsive. The house was well cleaned and linens all washed. Though owners are in a RV in the back yard, the backyard is gated & separated from their RV grounds. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We'll definitely be returning!

Clean home within walking distance to the Bay

Recommend for a chill experience on the bay with a beach vibe restaurant all within walking distance. Close 10 min drive to the Beach. Home was clean and the host was easily accessible.

Nice Place to Stay

I usually stay in wildwood but actually rented this place by accident. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise, the area was quite nice, actually nicer than where I typically stay in wildwood but still close enough to get to the boardwalk. House was clean, host was pleasant. I’d stay here again

Great house. Had tvs in every room including the bathroom with many streaming channels. Roomy and well maintained. Kitchen is excellent and had all dishes, pots etc needed.

Great location but not exactly as advertised

The house is clean and in a great neighborhood close to the Delaware River. However, I would not have rented this place if I knew there was not washer and dryer which the property details said was available. The owner said he forgot to change it. I believe it was an honest error but put us in a jam and luckily we had friends nearby who let us wash clothes at their place. The other issue is that some of the furniture was broken. The bed in the master bedroom for example. and the fridge started to die while we were there. These are things that can be fixed and I’m sure the owner will do so. He was very responsive while we stayed at the house. Thank you for that. So overall not a bad little place for a Cape May trip. Clean. Easy driving to everything. However, the lack of washer and dryer would be a deal breaker in the future.

This property was perfect for our beach getaway (2 adults & 1 kid age 10). We were a quick drive to a quiet & free beach on the bay (plus free street parking). My daughter and I found lots of pretty Cape May Diamonds and a stones tumbled from the Delaware River. We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. There were locals walking their dogs and a few beach-goers farther away. Everyone we met was friendly. We were a 10-20 minute drive to shopping, restaurants, the zoo, lighthouse, and boardwalk with rides. Grocery store nearby. The house was cute and clean. We enjoyed the front porch. One drawback was that the washer and dryer were not actually included in the rental. We had packed accordingly because that was an amenity listed, and we planned to do one load of laundry. The bathroom is a tight and awkward space to use comfortably, but it is fine. Overall, we would return to this rental house in the future.

Nice!

The property was as advertised. It was great to have clean linens and towels. The request for no shoes being worn inside made for a cleaner house, without that sandy build-up that you often get in homes near the shore. It was a short walk to the bay beach and a nice restaurant on the bay (arrive early to get a table!) The owner was responsive to the few glitches/problems we experienced, such as lack of access to network TV and a problem with the water jets in the tub, so that was helpful. All in all, it was a nice place for our Cape May getaway.

Nice, close to beach!

It was nice! No washer and dryer though which was stated in what the rental has available! Bathroom was very small but ok, if you are a big person it would of been hard for you to move around!

This was the perfect place for a bit of family fun in Cape May.The home was warm.and welcoming and I had excellent communication with the property manager.I would definately stay again!!

Peaceful close vacation near beach

The house was only a few blocks from beach. It was a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. The house was clean. It was mostly well stocked with what we needed. It did lack privacy. The host lived in back and the back door of property had no blinds . Could see right into kitchen and living area from the RV in back. There was no air conditioner in the bedroom with the twin beds, however there was a ceiling fan. Listing said there was a washer and dryer, ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Didn’t see any of those, but we didn’t need them.

Cute beach house

Place was as advertised, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable, the included linens were a nice plus. Host was easy to get in touch with. TVs included in every room which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to booking again.

Overnight in Cape May

We wanted to take a quick trip to ape May with our daughter. Spending a day at the beach and driving home the same day would have been too much. We needed separate bedrooms. The cost of two hotel rooms or a suite was too high. This property fit the bill. It was fine for that purpose. Newly renovated, it could use a couple of things: a bar in the shower/ jaquzzi-like bath. Some instructions on house care, and tv. Most channels could be downloaded free, but we did not feel like we should make those moves. Not clear how to get to live tv or cable channels.

My kids really liked the adjustable beds. The Beach House was extremely clean and well set up. The owner did a great job with this place. The only downside was that the only mirror is in the bathroom and it's hung VERY high. Even my 6ft husband could only see his head and shoulders in it. A full length mirror on the back of bedroom doors would have been useful for getting ready.
