We had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again. The views were incredible. The house was spacious and had so many nice touches (like the sauna, shuffleboard, lots of board games, etc). We had no complaints!

We loved this! The home is well appointed, everything is just as pictured. The decks are the home’s greatest feature- the pictures can’t capture the sound of the water and birds. I could live on that deck! Very private and tranquil. One thing is the driveway is a bit “rustic” our Subaru handled it fine but a car with less clearance might have a problem.

The house is exactly as described with a gorgeous view of the Puget sound. The house had everything we needed with the exception of soap/body wash for the shower. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be there but if it wasn't, please consider putting it in the listing so your guests come prepared. We ended up buying some when we were out the following day. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the otters from the deck. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

The Osprey House is so stunning. The home is architecturally interesting, fantastic kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds and views of the bay that can’t be beat. This was our second time staying and are already looking forward to returning next year!

Perfect place for our girls weekend. Lots of space/places for people to have quiet time on their own and as well as space to come together as a group. We cook like fiends when we get together and the kitchen is well-appointed. Beds were super comfy and the view can't be beat. Great communication with host contact. 10/10 will be back again.

Quiet and secluded.

It's a perfect place to get a way from it all. We used it as home base for our day trips to the coast and Olympic park. I already miss the sunrises and sun sets. I only gave 3 stars on the location because it may be too secluded for some. If your looking for a night life, I don't think you will find much nearby.

Exceptional home on Puget Sound

We knew the moment we drove down the driveway that we were entering a magical property. The house is a gorgeous NW style retreat, with every possible feature you could want, from a gourmet kitchen, to sauna, soaking tub, artwork and views from every window looking out onto the stunning marine filled sound. We will remember this trip forever and will definitely return to this gorgeous home!

Lovely area and honestly a beautiful view from the living room and deck. Better view than any of the bay front restaurants or view points! We saw plenty of wildlife. It feels very remote and is peaceful. The only downsides were that the property was not thoroughly clean when we arrived. Perhaps they cleaned a few weeks before we came? The landscapers also did some pruning and left it scattered around. Doesn’t look like the cleaners do anything for the outside patios or walkways . The home itself is a bit old and outdated. But that being said, we still enjoyed our time there. I did speak to the ppl who manage the property and it seems like they are addressing the issues I mentioned. I would recommend renting there if you’d like a peaceful spot with an amazing view!It is also dog friendly, however our dog is older with some mobility issues and we weren’t prepared for the many steps. He managed, but just be aware;)

Beautiful water view home! Great outdoor spaces! Closer to Port Hadlock than Port Ludlow but convenient to both and Port Townsend.Kitchen well stocked and spacious. Plenty of towels and linens would have liked another tablecloth and cloth napkins as we had children with us.Wish I would have looked at the description better as all 3 bedrooms downstairs with only 1 bathroom. There is another full bath on main level but very odd entrance to shower. Also said to use the 3rd bedroom downstairs there is an extra cleaning fee, so we used the den as the kid's bedroom to avoid the fees. Seemed odd what difference does it make? The Property managers were great and very helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're so glad you enjoyed the beautiful water views, outdoor spaces, and found the home well stocked and comfortable for your group. We appreciate your feedback regarding the linens and will consider adding more table linens for future guests, especially for families with children. We understand your concerns about the bedroom layout and the additional cleaning fee. The extra fee for the third bedroom helps us cover the increased housekeeping time and laundry required when additional sleeping spaces are used. That said, we’ll take your comments into consideration as we review how we communicate this detail to ensure it's as clear as possible. Thank you again for staying with us, and for your kind words about our team — we’d love to host you again in the future!

Our stay was absolutely fabulous and so beautiful! It was clean and well stocked. We loved the covered porch and watched eagles and otters every day, and the beautiful moonrise and sunrise. The home is so cozy and beautifully decorated. I can imagine the driveway getting a little hairy in the winter or in muddy conditions so I was happy to have all wheel drive though my mom did fine in her little sudan. I had my toddler with us, and we did need to block the stairs but that was pretty easy. He had a wonderful time too. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The bunk room is comfortable but lacks ambiance/ it's a little dark. It does have two full beds and an upper bunk. I would say it would be appropriate for kids or teens, just like the room with the futon. They are also very quick to respond with any issues or needs. We so appreciate being able to stay at the osprey and are looking forward to coming back someday!!!

Beautiful views from the Osprey

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at this property. The deck was great for sitting and relaxing. From the deck, we saw seals, dolphins, a bald eagle and many cruise ships making their way from Seattle. The ping pong table got a lot of use on the rainy days, reminding us of many years ago when we had one of our own. The shuffleboard table was fun too. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the sauna was a nice bonus that we're not used to having at rentals. There was plenty of room for everyone with 6 adults and a toddler. This location is an easy drive to Port Townsend where we took a whale watching cruise and saw humpbacks, a minke whale, orcas, elephant seals, and the famous lost red footed booby. Port Townsend also has a ton of restaurants and shops to check out. With no other homes nearby it was a great retreat.
