The pool and hot tub were amazing!! Very comfortable. The room with 2 king bed was perfect for my adult daughters and my son loved being able to “choose” his bed in the room with a double and bunk beds

We stayed here for 2.5 weeks with a toddler and a newborn. The sun deck and umbrella were perfect for our toddler to play in the pool all day long. We loved that they had sand toys, a wagon for the beach, and some pool toys too. The house was fantastic and we will definitely be staying again.

We have stayed at this property three times. All was great except for the fact that the lawn was very high and made the property look unkempt. It was embarrassing to have visitors comment on the state of the property. We were unable to use the pool for two days due to a huge leak in the filtration system. We understand that this is an issue that could not be foreseen, however it did affect our stay.We will continue to be interested in renting this property in the future.

Can’t say enough great things about this property - the pool was amazing and our kids spent most of the week playing in it. Otherwise the house was clean, spacious and well-equipped for our larger family. In addition, the host was always quickly responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again on our next Sarasota vacation!

The house had everything we could possibly imagine: peaceful, back porch for meals and pool access; well stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepped meals if needed; pool had tones of floaties for the kids; backyard propane grill; beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards; comfy beds and furnishings; and wow nice coffee maker and Ninja blender!!! Place was really clean and well maintained. Location was also great very close to the beach and close enough to nice restaurants! We loved our stay!

As good as advertised!

My family of 8 stayed at the Shiny Diamond over Spring Break and couldn’t be happier with the property. We had plenty of sleeping space, the pool and patio were truly as big as the pictures show, and communication with the host was seamless. Thanks for a great stay!

Overall, there was a lot to like about this home. The location was great, in a quiet neighborhood but not so quiet that you couldn’t relax and enjoy yourself. The home was clean, spacious, and had a lovely kitchen. We also really appreciated the host allowing us to check in early. There were some disappointments. We were told there would be TVs in all bedrooms, but only the primary had one. The host said a previous guest broke one, though there didn’t appear to be hookups or evidence of TVs in the other two rooms. None of the bedrooms had curtains, which made for some very bright mornings. The hot tub never got hot, even set to 104. When I contacted the host, the response focused on Florida weather and guests not typically wanting the pool heated, which didn’t really address the hot tub. We weren’t charged the heating fee, so we weren’t out additional money, but it was still an advertised amenity we expected to enjoy. The exterior and landscaping could also use some TLC. There was rusty furniture out front, and the pool bottom was noticeably dirty. At nearly 2,000 for five nights, I expected the amenities and overall upkeep to better reflect the listing and reviews. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed aspects of our stay, but it didn’t feel quite as luxurious as advertised. It could be a great fit for families who prioritize space and location over aesthetics and amenities. Still enjoyed doing many cannon balls

Amazing family vacation!

We loved the location- close to everything. The pool was amazing for our little kids- loved the sun deck! Clean and close to siesta key- about 9 min to the beach! Loved the large sliding doors so I could see the kids if they were taking a sun break- a great family vacation! Comes with beach chairs, wagon, and cooler for the beach.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful month at The Shiny Diamond! We love the open layout of this home and the pool and hot tub. The house location is perfect for a trip to Siesta Key Beach and is surrounded by all the shops and restaurants you could possibly want. Our interactions with the owners/property managers were always easy. Winter 2024 Sarasota Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Even though the weather was unusually cool we made good use of the spa. The location made it easy to get Siesta Beach, many restaurants and golf courses. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and even brought us a new propane tank for the grill.

Great location!

Property was great! The pool and hot tub are fantastic. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and the house was perfect for us. Everything you’ll need is less than 10mins from the property. Siesta Key Beach was amazing and lived up to the hype. We payed the extra fee to heat the pool and hot tub, I would highly recommend this option at this time of year making night swims a highlight for the kids.

A Great Family Vacation

We were in Sarasota to celebrate my mom’s 103rd birthday. I surprised her by bringing her three great grandchildren to visit. The accommodations were just right and the pool/spa was an added perk. The house is centrally located to many fun attractions as well as to my Florida family. Thank you!
