Our cozy brand new first floor studio at Snug Harbor is located right at the water level!
September and October are a perfect time to visit. The leaves are changing, the crowds are gone, and the prices are lower than summer.
Surrounded by landscaping, enjoy amazing sunrises from the comfortable Puffy adjustable King Bed or from your own private porch. While sharing a wall with Snug Harbor restaurant, the fully equipped kitchen is designed to maximize the space. Featuring a gas stove, french door refrigerator with ice & water, microwave, and a coffee maker nearby.
The bathroom features a rainfall shower with frameless glass doors, and brass accents throughout, complemented by white Italian marble.

Rent a boat or a kayak and you'll be able to dock right in front of your unit! Fish right from our docks and enjoy the summer. You can always take a break from the heat with newly installed AC and blackout curtains that provide a respite from the sun.

Just one mile south is the quaint village of Hammondsport, voted the best small town in the US in 2012, which has a variety of boutiques, shops, restaurants, a wine & liquor store, and a grocery store. Summer events in the square are plentiful, so you'll always have something to do, and if you'd like to venture a little further, you're in the heart of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail and less than 1 hour from historic Corning and Watkins Glen.

Snug Harbor was beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable! I highly recommend. Check-in was simple and the lake serves as your font yard! It was perfect and I hope come back.

The property is located directly on Keuka and provides a stunning backdrop for a relaxing stay. The sunrises were gorgeous and you can enjoy them directly from the porch or dock. The studio itself was very clean, the kitchen was equipped to be able to prepare meals, if desired as the restaurant itself is now closed. The bathroom renovations were very tasteful and spa-like. Tim was super helpful in addressing an issue with internet connectivity and resolved with the provider to our satisfaction. We are looking forward to returning again next summer!

Such a beautiful convenient place to stay on Keuka Lake! The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessities, the shower was next level! The host was very responsive, and the maid service was super convenient for an easy checkout.

Excellent Getaway

Nice little efficiency in an historic building on the water. Great restaurant on property and quaint Village of Hammondsport 5 mins away. Lots of great breweries & wineries in the Finger Lakes region.

The room was great, the location was great, the room was very clean and had all the amenities I would expect. My only suggestion would be for the property owner to invest in a mesh WiFi setup for the building because the internet would drop a lot in the ground floor room.

Lovely view of lake but no access to beaches. Bed was comfortable-could use more pillows and blankets. Unit shares wall with restaurant but no problem if you stay when restaurant is closed. Dinner crowd was out by 8pm.

Fall Getaway

Great location, Hammondsport has a lot to offer. The place has a well equipped kitchen, fantastic shower, bed was comfortable. To be fair, we booked late October when the attached restaurant was closed.I can see it being very noisy in the summer.

This was our second stay at this beautiful suite on Kueka Lake. The room is very clean and well organized. It has a useful kitchen and a great coffee maker. The location on the water and adjacent to the restaurant is perfect. Ease of checking in and checking out was convenient. The people that you meet there at the restaurant and in the area are all very friendly. And after you have all of these things put together, they still rate second-best to the wonderful bathroom that you have use of. It is very well laid out and beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about it! We look forward to our next trip!

Short stay on Keuka Lake

Had a wonderful stay at Snug Harbor on Keuka Lake. The studio room and bathroom are beautifully decorated and right on the lake. There is also a restaurant adjacent to our room which was very convenient. Can be a little noisy during peak restaurant hours, but does not last long. We were able to check in early which was a bonus. Was a wonderful weekend.

Sparkling and Relaxing

The studio is a real retreat. It is sparkling clean, very comfortable for two, and absolutely lovely on the shores of Keuka Lake. Coreena and the property manager were easy to work with (when we wanted to extend our stay) and very accommodating. The studio was built with an eye for detail; the color scheme, lighting, kitchen, etc. were all chosen to be aesthetically pleasing. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect lakeside getaway!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Snugharbor!! The studio suite was perfect for us. The suite is so nice, has high end features, and the views and location were perfect. We loved making coffee with the provided machine and sitting out on the boardwalk each morning before it got busy. The bed is very comfortable, adjustable and has a massage feature! The linens and provided soaps are high end as well and are a fabulous added touch. Be sure to have a meal or two at the restaurant the food is great! We will definitely be back!

Very sharp unit right on the lake!!

I guess I was the first guest of this just built suite! The bathroom was beautiful and pristine, the kitchen gave us plenty of room for groceries and drinks, and the bed was exquisitely comfortable! The unit itself was great, but there's nothing like waking up and being right there on the lake! We didn't have a chance to go out, but definitely will next time. Thank you Snug Harbor!

A much needed getaway

When we arrived everything was exactly as described. Our host was very responsive. I only had one question and Caden responded right away. We got there on the last day the restaurant was open so we had a very quiet stay. Our first night was nice though since we got to meet some of the staff next door before they closed for the season. Even though the weather wasn't great, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely book again. Thank you for such a nice time.

A Great Couple of Days

My wife and I stayed at Snug Harbor for three night. The location is right on the Lake just a short drive to Hammondsport and the heart of wine country. The room is great... comfortable bed and the best shower that I have ever used. The kitchen is very nice and the coffee maker was great! The restaurant is just on the other side of the wall of the room and porch, but the noise was never a problem. (They are only open 4-10 pm.) We ate at the restaurant twice and had great meals on the deck. The suite is just as advertised and I cant wait to return next year. Oh... communication was very good... I left an important item in the room and a few days later was contacted by the host and they mailed it back to me! Thanks for being a great part of our vacation!

Hidden Gem

What a great place! It was exactly as advertised, very clean and well appointed. Great private porch overlooking the lake. Luxurious bathroom with rainfall shower head and heated bathroom lights. Full kitchen, more than enough linens/towels, and a very comfortable bed. Things to know: - The restaurant at the Inn is currently open Thurs-Sun. Book Mon-Wed if you want total peace and quiet. (noise proofing in walls was great anyhow when dinner crowds arrived) -There needs to be better signage (and maybe a gate or chain/rope) for the ground suite. People mistook our door for the entrance to the restaurant multiple times a night. - A welcome basket or starter pack with local goodies would be a great touch for this rental. -Internet was a bit spotty

Wish I had something more positive to report…

The photos and description of this “romantic getaway” were quite misleading, to say the least. The unit itself was brand new, spotless, and nicely appointed, but was RIGHT next door to a restaurant where there was a wedding going on. We were expecting something significantly more secluded. Furthermore, the kitchen lacked utensils (we couldn’t even make eggs because there was no spatula), the high-end and high-tech coffee maker was unfigureoutable, and the toaster filled the entire unit with smoke when we tried to toast a pop tart! Such a huge let down….. our first time away together in months, and it simply did not deliver. :(

Looks beautiful

This place looked beautiful and we wanted to be right in the water. The lake was right outside the door and gorgeous. The studio itself was cute. The problem started with misrepresentation about 'walking distance to restaurant'. The restaurant actually envelopes the room. The one wall a butts to the restaurant and the ceiling is the rooftop dining for the same restaurant. Talk about noisy!!! The cleanliness was not good either. The very expensive coffee pot had no directions. Once we figured out how to use it it didn't work. When I opened the side panel the containers were filled with mold! The sheets had dog hair on them and the stove was dirty. I only have as many stars in the rating because of the view.

Good and bad

I’ll start with cons. It’s attached to a restaurant. Parking before it opens is no problem but if you go back to rental after 4:30 when restaurant opens you will not have anywhere to park. We had to drive around for an hour then just went out to eat without showering. Parking after 8:45 not a problem. The restaurant itself was not that loud except on Saturday night but still not annoying. The bed is not that comfortable and I would suggest bringing your own pillows. It is on the water with a dock but no swimming access… There is a small deck but abuts restaurant. Tried messaging owner several times and he did not respond.Pros: it’s a newly remodeled unit and pretty clean. Bathroom is very nice. Kitchen small but usable. They have a small table and chairs to eat on but think a bureau would be better use for that space or another bedside table. Only small closet to house clothes. Not a huge issue. Hammondsport is very quiet. Nice views of lake. I would consider staying again but only when the restaurant is closed for the season.
