Summary:

Enjoy the convenience of parking in your own garage and catching some sun on the private rooftop deck! Located right downtown Traverse City with a short walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, beaches, and shopping. This townhouse comes fully stocked and ready for your next vacation!



The Space:

This is a three story townhouse. The private garage and entrance are on the first floor. Living room/ kitchen are on the 2nd floor and bedrooms on the third floor. There is a Smart TV in the living room. The kitchen comes fully curated with cookware, dish ware, and cooking utensils plus paper towel, soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, you name it! A Keurig coffee pot and six k-cups are provided to kick off your first day.



Both bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Bedrooms are set with linens, throw blankets, and closet organizers with hangers.



A spiral staircase leads up to the private rooftop deck. After a day of sightseeing, relax in the hammock or play a game of cornhole provided.



Guest Access:

There is a smart lock for easy check-ins.



Other Things to Note:

Cable television is not provided. Streaming is available on the living room smart TV.



The garage is one stall and can accommodate vehicles up to nineteen feet long.

The location to town is excellent. We were disappointed in only being offered decaf coffee pods for morning coffee. You will want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as a three-in-one body soap is all that is provided. The unit was clean but when we climbed into bed there was sand at the foot of the bed between the top and bottom sheets which made us question whether the sheets had been cleaned before our arrival. Parking was an issue. The parking garage was very small and there was no room for our SUV. We needed to drop our bags and find parking on a street nearby. This would have been a real challenge had we stayed during seasonal rush. Fortunately we stayed late August for a weekend. This is NOT a place to stay if you have any mobility issues. There are 30 stair steps just to get to the bedroom level. As an Airbnb host ourselves (super host status) we found this unit to be below our expectations.

I wish the property description had made it clear that a second flight of stairs was required to access the bedrooms. Given that two of the people in our party had mobility issues, we might have made another choice. The condo location is excellent; but that's really the best thing about it. It is not fully appointed. There's a bar, but no bar stools. The bathrooms need more hooks on which to hang towels or toiletry kits, and they need grab bars. There are no dishcloths or dish towels in the kitchen, so we had to use bathroom linens. There is a mirror at the upper stair landing, but it serves no purpose, as you cannot see yourself in it, and there are no mirrors in either bedroom. There is a rooftop deck with furniture, accessible via a spiral staircase. Another issue is the garage. It is not navigable unless you back the car into it. Overall, it felt like some trust fund baby decided to create an income stream, but had no idea how people actually live.

Great stay!

Property was exactly as described, check in and check out, and leaving instructions were perfectly normal requests... Main TC dwntn is a very walkable 3 blocks, nice neighborhood. Great stay/transaction.

Wonderful stay

Good communication with owner, easy to find/check in. Well stocked, had everything we needed. Had coffeemaker, wine opener. So close to everything- couldn’t have asked for a better location! Kids loved the rooftop deck.

Enjoyable Stay

Great location, well equipped property with everything you need. If you have mobility issues the stairs can be an issue. Also parking in the garage is a challenge due to proximity of buildings.

Summer in the city

We enjoyed ourselves and all the amenities were nice. There were some areas in the unit that needed repair, but these did not really impact our stay. We made sure the owners were aware, so I doubt it will be long before they are fixed.

Great location and host communication

Overall, we had a great experience. When we first arrived there was some damage to the stairs, I notified the host right away and they immediately responded with several options to make it right. We ended up moving to an identical condo across the lot and it was very nice and comfortable. The location right off Front Street was ideal! We walked to restaurants and shops and we only drove a few minutes to other kid-friendly spots like Darrow Park and the Library. I appreciated how the listing is up front about the small size of the garage for parking and the stairs, accurate to the description! It was nice to have the attached garage with a door opener. I recommend this location when traveling to TC!

The place as a whole was nice enough and the location in town was great. But we had some major issues, the largest of which was that we didn't have working heat, and it was cold! We got in late, had a busy weekend, and didn't realize it wasn't working until we woke up freezing the next morning and saw the error on the thermostat. The VRBO app was down in the morning, so by the time we could get in touch with the host, as it was "past check out time" they were unwilling to allow us to check out. They offered another unit (by this time we were out and didnt have time to pack up and move). And offered to bring us space heaters (which never arrived).I'm sure the host will reply to this and say "Oh but we tried!" But the fact is we didn't have time to be battling app issues, and going back and forth with the host. There's a garage at the unit and space heaters could have been dropped off at any time. You either need things to be in working order, or to get out of there. Unfortunately we got neither.

Great Location!

The townhouse is in a great location, walking distance to breweries and restaurant's and shops. The townhouse is on 3 floors with a garage in the lower level- small cars only. Many stairs and some of them had loose boards. Communication with the property manager was non-existent. I asked a few times about additional parking as our car was too large for the garage. We did not get a response, we asked about the garbage as well as the instructions told to us in the beginning were not accurate. Overall, it was a nice townhouse and great location but asked if I would stay again...no

The location was great and the place was clean, which we appreciated. However, comfort is just as important to us for the price. That was where this rental fell short. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the couch was quite small, making it difficult for our family to relax together. We were also surprised that we needed to bring all of our own soaps and other basic essentials. It felt like only the bare minimum was provided in many aspects. The temperature was hard to manage. The upstairs stayed very hot while the downstairs was freezing. If your top priority is the location, this could be a good fit, but for the cost, we expected a more comfortable overall experience. I have stayed in many rental places in TC where you can tell they went the extra mile to make it a relaxing stay.
