We enjoyed our stay it was a nice relaxing weekend little noisy though didn’t realize it was a bar below us but that’s OK. We just used our headphones at night. It is what it is. There was a strong marijuana over in the hallway. We are not smokers so we noticed it right away But the place was lovely. We had a great time and we will visit again.

I really wanted to love this place due to visiting family quite often in the area but... I loved that it was close to the lake for morning walks. The coffee/chocolate shop across the street was wonderful. We did not go to any of the restaurants below the Loft. We did walk down to the Boardwalk and enjoyed the music on the weekend. The Loft was clean in most areas but the stained couch and throw rug are in need of some deep cleaning. The kitchen was well equipped and the overall appearnace was charming. Having only the one bathroom in the bedroom was inconvenient for a person sleeping on the couch in the living room. We appreciated having the washer and dryer. The low rating is due partly to the stairwell. On our first night we were gobsmacked by the smell of pot .The steps are disgustingly dirty, steep and dangerous to walk up. We struggled with our heavy suitcases to get up the stairs, but that was on us for overpacking. The noise, noise, noise is awful! The semi-trucks barrel through at all hours of the night. The weekend nightlife is very loud even with the door closed.There are bicycles available which we never got to ride due to the lock on the shed not opening. I was really looking forward to riding the bikes around the lake.The parking out front is nice, but you are not allowed to park there from 3am-5am due to street cleaning. Therefore, you need to park across the street in a lot. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again due to the mentioned factors.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the space exactly as pictured on the VRBO site. The space provided a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy our time in Celina.

Rug update.

Overall it was good. PLEASE get a new rug. It bunched up and I almost tripped once and my wife about four different times.

This VRBO is listed as sleeping 4 but the couch was very small for 2 adult children to share. Its more of a popup futon than a pullout couch. The bedroom was fine but had no windows. Kitchen was nice, clean, and spacious. The bar next door was a little loud but we were up late anyway. Loved the balcony!

Loved the architecture of this building and the surrounding buildings. The Fountain restaurant a block away was an awesome dinner, great food, service and you get your food fast and hot. Shandys American bar and grill was also very nice. Boots and Bourbon right next door was loud and crazy, we did not go there, but watched the craziness from the balcony of the Loft. Loved the history of the Loft, it was clean and nice. The negatives, the shower is small and the tv's only had streaming option, maybe I'm just an old timer and don't stream my tv! Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

A/C not working

When we first arrived the stairwell was very dark and smelled awful of marijuana. Once we got into the loft it was very cute and pictures were spot on. However, we left within a half hour due to the A/C not working. When reaching out to get it fixed there was no response for 2 hours and even then the response was “sorry they are on the lake, I will get ahold of someone”. We ended up not returning and still don’t even know if the A/C was fixed.

The apartment was in great condition. We didn't utilize the kitchen. The water in the shower was hot and the a/c cold. The stairs are a bit steep but totally doable. We would stay at the Loft again. Thank you.

Great getaway!

We stayed for a long weekend. Less than 10 minutes walk to the lake, so much to do around the neighborhood, right across from a coffee shop. The apartment was clean, beautiful, has a small balcony, and all the cooking essentials in the kitchen if you want to cook. I’d stay here again!

Uptown in C-Town

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in early May. It's a clean and quiet location with a spacious living room. Cool to stay in downtown Celina, a place I have visited numerous times because of family ties in the area. Easy walk to the lake and to a couple of our favorite places- Brew Nation and the 202 Tavern. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice for a quick trip!

Overall, we were happy with our stay. The coffeemaker is one that uses pods, there were no ice trays. Lock to apartment was fiddly. Could have used a draining tray for washed dishes. And the stairs smelled like pot a few times. It was great being downtown and able to walk to some great restaurants and coffee shops. Loved teh bluetooth stereo and being able to log into and be automatically logged out of streaming services on the tv.

Steps were a bit much and i didnt like how we had to walk to the back of the building in the snow to throw a way the trash. Water in shower never got warm enough. Other than that fine.

Perfect

Great cozy spot close to all attractions in Celina, St. Mary's, and New Brenan. Had all the things we needed. Very walkable place with lake, restaurants and parks in less than five minutes of walking.
