We had a great time at this property. Everything we needed was supplied-and many extras. We had 2 fires in the fire pit and enjoyed the night sounds. The home was cozy and welcoming. Honestly, we will stay here again when we visit family

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house was comfortable, welcoming, and incredibly well cared for. You could tell that so much thought and love went into making it feel like a home rather than just a rental.Our host was exceptionally kind and generous, and every little detail made us feel genuinely welcomed. She knew we were traveling during a difficult and emotional time, and the warmth and thoughtfulness we experienced meant more than I can really put into words.This was one of those stays where you leave feeling grateful that you crossed paths with someone so kind. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place with a truly wonderful host.

We really loved it here. Very spacious, very clean, very quiet. You see that this house was created with a lot of hospitality. Felt like home.

Host went above and beyond. Clean, extra perks, firewood, trails, animals, beautiful home. No wifi but several dvds and bored games. Would stay here again

Homestead in the woods

This was a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We had a great time hanging out on the property and the hosts were very welcoming. It is very private and peaceful.

Girls Weekend

The property was remote and lovely. Beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches. Stocked drinks and various sundries. Almost heaven! Would definitely go again.

Excellent place

Wonderful place nestled on top of a “hill” in rural Sistersville. Since cell service is non existent there, the only thing that would make the place better is internet service at the rental. Otherwise it’s great.

Amazing stay!

There is nothing bad to say about this property. The host is fantastic, it was easily the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. The host set items out for our two little ones and there was food in the fridge. Fantastic. If you ever need a place to stay in this part of WV or just want to get away, I highly recommend.

We wanted to get away to a more secluded area. The house was easy to find. Great parking. Inside is well laid out and has everything you need. The Host and her son even delivered farm eggs and milk for us. We felt very welcomed. Easy place to relax at and unwind. We had fun exploring the woods surrounding the house. We highly recommend this stay if youre in the area or just want to escape the population of people.

Starting with the booking the host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. She even messaged that she added Starlink so we would have connectivity. There were no check-in instructions on the app, but Meg sent over upon request. The house is on the same property as where the owners live but out of sight of their house. The house is a renovated manufactured home and the hosts put a ton of work and thought into it. Lots of amenities and nice touches. Keep in mind you are in the country. The driveway is steep gravel and there are bugs and ticks. You need to expect that whenever you stay in the country and we do not dock the host at all for the few bugs we saw. I only docked a bit because the reclining couch is in need of repair. We really enjoyed staying here and give a lot of kudos to the host.

Only stayed one night, the house had bugs everywhere in it, there was no WiFi that I needed for work, the listing said that it had WiFi. Had to sleep on a broken recliner because was so hard and uncomfortable. No washer and dryer to wash close for a four day stay, the laundry mate was a 30 minute drive in another city. I want a refund already spoke with the host, They said I had to get through VRBO.

We had best time. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and than some. The host was amazing she left us some eggs and coffee for breakfast. She also left few other things in fridge to get us started. We came in very late at night after 11pm really appreciated the extra thoughtfulness. The air-conditioned was on and nice and cool in there it was very hot day. Bedroom were nicely decorated fresh towels were lying on beds. Bathrooms were clean well stocked with everything you needed and host even had extra items if you forgot anything. Living room had very comfy couch enough seating for the whole family. There was a fire pit outside with chairs and wood we didn't use it but it was there and all set up if we wanted to. There was abundance of wildlife enjoyed seeing all deer and furry friends. We would stay here again.

This house was perfect for what we needed! Very clean, very spacious! Our host Meg was very accommodating even with some directions with a road being out. We had no problem finding the house! We also traveled with a baby and she was so helpful in setting up a crib and having everything available for her. This was her first trip with mom and dad at 11 months. She felt very at home there! This house has a very nice fire pit and chairs, we enjoyed a fire outside with s'mores. We also enjoyed lots of walks up to the beautiful pond and outdoor scenery. The kitchen was amazing to cook in it had everything you can imagine. We definitely would stay here again!
