#1 WINE COUNTRY GETAWAY

This Spanish style charming farm house is beautifully landscaped. A generous room/Studio (500 sf.) attached to the main house, but very private with no shared walls. Unit has its own entrance, fenced yard and full bath. It’s located on the west side of the house, with beautiful sun rise and sun sets.

This is a comfortable studio in a country setting, off of Highway 121/12, on 2-1/2 acres, in a very safe neighborhood. We are located in the heart of the Carneros region between Sonoma and Napa Valley. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, running and bicycling.

The unit is attached to the main house, yet very private, with its own entrance.  A private patio and fenced yard have mountain views, and “starry, starry” skies at night.

Explore a host of world-class vineyards -- all within 10 miles of your door. Drive 4 miles into Sonoma to find upscale restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment options. Enjoy a hikes at the Upper Lake Trail at Jack London Park and Overlook Trail at Sonoma Plaza.

Only a 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown Sonoma Plaza, downtown Napa, and Sonoma Raceway . We are within walking distance of several wineries and a vodka distillery.

The property is home to sheep, goats, chicken and an abundance of wild birds (a bird watcher’s paradise).
We are also on a popular bike route to Napa/Sonoma.

The stay was as exactly as advertised. Beth is probably the best host I've ever had at a stay. Made us feel more than welcomed. If you are looking for a nice quiet, comfortable stay in Sonoma this is your place.

We visit Sonoma often and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. The quiet rural setting was absolutely beautiful! We saw hot air balloons every morning! If you are traveling with a dog— the yard is completely fenced in! The inside was very spacious with a super comfy king sized bed. We enjoyed some great morning walks in the neighborhood. Beth is a super friendly accommodating host. Super clean! Great location.

Comfortable (studio-like) one room with a TV, bathroom with shower and small kitchen area with coffee pot, toaster and microwave. Private and comfortable. Very friendly host - no surprises or concerns.

Friendly & Helpful Host

My husband, myself and yellow lab enjoyed our stay here. We loved the big side yard for our dog. The yard led to Beth’s backyard where the sheep were. The sheep were very friendly and sweet. It was nice to have a keurig like coffee maker with coffee pods and vanilla coffee creamer. Beth was very personable and responsive host. We would stay again. Thank you!

Fun stay. Could be cleaner

Overall the room was good. Cool location outside of town with chickens and goats around which our kids enjoyed. Host was very accessible and friendly. Only issues 1) bathroom is outside of the sleeping room, so outside of the room that you can lock for privacy 2)quite dusty, not great for allergies. Able to freshen up the air by opening windows and using fan but window air unit wasn’t working.Lower rating mostly related to cleanliness. Stains on sheets, dustiness. Overall an enjoyable stay

Relocating

We stayed at this Sonoma vrbo after we moved from southern Ca to purchase a home in Napa. We enjoyed our month long stay in a countryside setting. Location was central to Sonoma and Napa. Our host Beth was very friendly and always pleasant. She obviously took pride in her property. She has sheep and chickens and it was fun to see some of their daily routines. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking to experience a nice, quiet getaway especially if you want a central location and peaceful evenings. 5 stars to Beth!

Lovely property, great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very responsive and quick to get back to us whenever we had questions. All of the amenities were there, plus many little things that made it even better. We had our two big dogs with us, 2 Akitas, one 135lb and one 85lb. Loved having the fenced in yard to take our dogs out and let them explore. It was very clean inside, luckily our dogs weren’t shedding much at the time. It was hot the day we arrived, so we really appreciated having A/C, especially for the dogs. There’s a ceiling fan and also a portable fan there, which we would use when we didn’t have the A/C on. We would definitely come back, we’re members at 2 wineries in Napa but haven’t come up in around 10 years. Now we have a dog friendly place to stay, so maybe we’ll come up more often.

Misleading listing

I had to cut our stay short at the vacation rental due to a number of reasons. Firstly when we arrived there was a cat sleeping on the bed who was locked in for an unknown length of time. As some one who is severely allergic to cats this was not a welcomed sight. I suffered through the entire night with a respiratory mask as did my two children. Furthermore the was long black hair from a previous occupant placed in the shower. I do not believe the bathroom was cleaned between occupants. Furthermore there was a faint cat urine smell. Which is likely due to the cat that locked was locked in for an undetermined amount of time. However the cleanliness was the least of the major issues. The listing itself was flat out wrong and misrepresented the listing. There were glaring inconsistencies regarding the living and sleeping areas. The “bedroom” was non existent and the kitchenette was a hallway with a few appliances. The refrigerator was not plugged in or cold. Furthermore, there was no heat in the space. It became quite cold and as all of the blankets were unwashed they were unusable as there were excess amounts cat hair and dust covering them. We booked over a month in advance. There was ample time to ensure the space was inhabitable
