The Dutch Getaway
This unique Dutch-style home was built in 1937 with all its original historical charm and just a touch of modern bohemian coastal updates so you can enjoy a pleasant, yet cozy stay in this historical Pensacola home along our beautiful mainland coastline. This location has so much to offer our guests. The Navy Point nature trail just around the corner with a paved 2.5-mile walking and biking trail along Bayou Grande as well as a boat launch. About a block away is Civitan Park with playgrounds, a walking path, and a kayak launch for a short water adventure to White Island. Just down the street is NAS, the home of the Blue Angels, the Naval Aviation Museum, and Pensacola lighthouse which is a must-visit. You can watch the Blue Angel practice shows from the front yard, down at Gibbs Point Beach or anywhere along the Bayou Grande Nature trail. Just 10 minutes east is Downtown Pensacola with restaurants, bars, Maritime Park, Wahoos stadium, seasonal festivals and festivities.Looking to visit the beach? Pensacola Beach or Perdido Key Beach, they are both a short 20-minute trip along our coastline. Pets welcome! (Pet Fee Applicable)

Great little house for our trip over Christmas. Clean and good location. We enjoyed Pensacola and the house was perfect for the three of us. Hubby, me and our cat Rascal.

It was like stepping into a cozy cottage. You’re surrounded by nature and yet everything you need is very close. The location is great. A big thank you to the host family for sharing their beautiful house.

The cottage itself was welcoming- nice and clean. The hosts were great, and accommodating to our needs. It’s the perfect little cottage nestled back in its own little yard. Everything was just as described/seen in the pictures.The only thing that could be better is the location/neighborhood nearby. However, upon reading reports of the area it seems there are proposals to update said area(s).

Amazing stay! Beautiful place!! Super clean, close to everything including beach! Very spacious for 3 plus our puppy. Kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils needed! I still can’t get over how clean and cute this place was! Will definitely be back here next beach trip!

Perfect

Great spot to visit multiple beaches, Blue Angels practices, Blue Wahoo games, and stores. Clean and neat. Owners make everything easy.

Precious little cottage! Perfect for our stay to see the Blue Angels. We went to the kayak launch in the description as well. Very nice. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Easy access & good communication with host. Definitely recommend.

Everything You Need

This place was great with everything you need available. The hosts are excellent! It’s in a great location, easy to get in and out of and private. It was a perfect size for my wife and I. Very comfortable and cozy.

Nice little getaway

We enjoyed the stay. Cottage was cute and small. Not great if you are a light sleeper. Traffic noise was loud at times. We like it dark when we sleep and the house has shear curtains throughout. Bathroom is small and cute, with allyou could need. We had everything we needed nearby. Overall it was a nice stay.

Cute and comfy!

Communication was 10/10 owner got back with me very quickly with any questions I had! The cottage was super cute and was perfect for myself, husband and daughter. Very clean. We would absolutely book again!

So cute & super clean!

Perfect stay for overnight. I loved all the plants throughout the house; such care taken with each one. It was a nice touch. The house was spotless & so cute! If I had any complaint it would be the size of the shower. We are two average size adults: 5’8” & 6’ and it was small! Almost too small for us. Haha! But other than that it was a lovely stay and the host was always quick with her reply.

The cottage is super nice and clean, however I did not realize it was on a very busy street.. cars, motorcycles sirens, etc Was not thrilled about location and the house next door was horrendous!I was told by people not to leave my sunroof open cause I was in a bad part of town.Changed my mind living there

Perfect Property

Six out of five stars. The property has everything we needed. It was absolutely perfect and if I have to go back to Pensacola, this is where I will be staying. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect!

My husband and I came into town to visit our son who is a Marine stationed at NAS Corry station. The house was perfect and close to the base. Plenty of blankets and pillows to make sleeping comfortable. We used the outdoor propane fire pit and had fun! We spent every evening talking and having a good time sitting around it. Before we even left, the owners made sure we had grilling tools to use! They responded quickly to all of our questions. If you are looking for a cozy place near the base and lots of restaurants, this is the one!

A Pleasant Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dutch Getaway. The house was charming and very clean. The bed and the sofa were very comfortable. It also had everything you would need for a stay. We really appreciated the coffee with the availability of creamer and sweetener. We had several communications with the hosts and they were always responsive and so kind. We would definitely stay here again.

We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. I loved all the plants throughout the house. It was a short drive to the beach and breweries.
