A quiet and cozy,and very relaxing Chicago experience

Great West Town Apartment!

We had an excellent time staying at this property. The apartment is clean, had everything we needed, and is in a great location close to transit that brings you directly downtown or to O’Hare. The host was very friendly and even left us with a little welcome gift. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great spot for a long weekend.

Location was great, check in process was easy, and the space was clean! A perfect spot for a long weekend close to downtown and the blue line.

Great Place, Great host

Stayed in Chicago over a weekend to see a concert and spend the anniversary with my Wife. The host of this Vrbo was kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine.

Traveled to Chicago for birthday party. Location of VRBO was perfect for all activities. It was nice having parking passes.

Cozy and cute

We were quite comfortable with the short time we stayed. The coffee and water were a very thoughtful gift. The blankets and towels were plentiful. The host was very thoughtful when she saw we were traveling with a toddler and gave us a folding sleeping crib.

Great stay for family!!

Close to Everything, short 1&1/2 block walk to bus stop. Host was great with communicating with us. Clean and inviting! Great decor! Safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!!! Bonus was the Chipp Inn tavern across the street.

Worked great for me!

Check in and out was super easy. Is great location for The Salt Shed, and downtown is a short ride or slightly long walk depending on destination. Bed was comfortable and space was clean and well appointed. Host was so kind to have wine and bottled water available in the fridge. Would stay agajn.

Across from

A plus for some is the Chipp Inn bar, historic! Really we only heard minor noise and that was because we had windows open. The place was very clean and has space in the living room and the kitchen table to hang out and visit. The bedrooms have very little room to move around the beds. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the pleasant neighborhood.

Nice but needs some TLC

So to start off, we were placed in the wrong vrbo. Apparently there are two directly across from each other and there was a mix up. I did contact the landlord and she fixed it almost immediately. Now for the place. It really needs some tlc but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Unfinished baseboards, bathroom door has seen better days, bathroom mirror light just flickers, needs paint touch ups. One night I was only in the shower for no more than 5min and water turned cold. The property is located across the street from a bar so if you’re sleeping in the front bedroom you will hear bar guests outside smoking and talking all hours of the night. The bedrooms are also very small but doable for my boyfriend and I. The location was great and had a nice coffee shop just a 2min walk away. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. There were a few games and books which were nice. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for 2 guests for a couple nights but definitely needs some fix ups. I will say the bedroom off of the kitchen had a very comfy bed! There also was a coffee maker with a variety of coffee but we didn’t use it. Great location overall.

Great Spot on the West Side

This is a cozy and comfy spot in a great neighborhood! My family was visiting Chicago for a wedding and to meet up with friends. We enjoyed the Chicago charm, including nearby bars, restaurants, and parks. It was a breeze to get to the Loop via the Blue Line. We also enjoyed walking to some of our favorite spots in Noble Square and Ukrainian Village. The host was very helpful and communicative. Cheryl was fantastic. I'd stay again next time in Chicago.

The purpose of the visit was to be with my baby sister as she was conquering another surgery to have a tumor removed. It was comforting to know that we had a safe place to relax after a rough day. The fun news...my brother in law had Chipp Inn on his top 10 bars to visit when he ventures down your way. We had no idea when we made the reservations that the bar was across the street. My sister had the pleasure of sitting down at the bar visiting w the bartender about the history of the neighborhood. Thank you!!
