This cozy bayside home off 142nd street is on the cusp of North Ocean City and Fenwick Island in the quiet, family-friendly neighborhood of Caine Woods. You’ll be a 2 min drive/13 min walk to the beach with ample parking and a short drive to Fenwick and Bethany. Enjoy the bay across the street, a great playground a couple blocks up, and Harpoon Hanna's one block over. This home sleeps up to 10 guests.

Cute cottage all to yourself

Very nice stay here. Will rent again. AC was good, hot water nice and kitchen equipped. Front deck was a huge plus.

Lots of charm

This home provided a great space for our group. It was in the quiet Northern end of Ocean City and within walking distance to many shops, mini golf, and food. About a 20 minute walk to the beach.

Great stay near the beach!

We loved our time in Fenwick Island. Walking distance to beach and main road. House was super clean and communication was great!

Great location and dog friendly

Cute house and perfect for family vacation. Was in a great neighborhood and got to enjoy both OCMD and Fenwick. House was fully equipped, very clean, and plenty of towels. Both checkin and check out was easy and was able to reach Katelyn easily.

Awesome place to stay for a weekend in OCMD! Location was amazing when we had a problem with our AC the host had someone out right away to fix it!!

Girls Weekend

Great host and great house

It was the perfect place for our vacation. Communication with Katelyn, the host, was great. She answered all of my questions, and even offered to send someone out when we didn’t know how to work something. The house was lovely and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Property

Loved every part of our rental. The communication was amazing with the property owner and there was nothing left unthought of. From baby things to ibprophen. We would definitely recommend this property to families visiting the area!

Nice beach cottage

Great HVAC. 10 minute walk to beach, which was nice. Master bedroom has a queen bed, if that's something that matters to you. Nice deck. Property was clean and in decent repair. Kitchen is small, good for coffee & bagels-type breakfasts but not well equipped for cooking family meals.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at this great cottage. It was in a beautiful neighborhood with nice views of the canals and bay. We brought our dog so this was perfect for walking. Easy parking at 142nd street for beach access and within a short drive/walk to Fenwick. Local restaurants were great too! Some drawbacks were a very warm upstairs (even with a/c on), had to bring our own linens, and small ants on kitchen counters. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location made it worth it.

An Unfortunately Sweaty Family Vacation

Our family of 5 and dog enjoyed the main level and deck, however the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were a bit awkward. Upstairs bathroom is very small. Bedroom lighting and storage was lacking, and not all windows had shades. Our biggest complaint is the air conditioning situation. We arrived to air conditioners all being off. The house was well into the 90’s upstairs and it took a full day to somewhat cool off. Window units had mold inside of them, so we couldn’t use them. One replacement window unit was brought a couple days in but did not help much. The mini-split unit was not keeping up and the handyman informed us that it wasn’t cooling for the previous tenant. This was news to me, as the owner didn’t mention that when I asked about why the air was turned off when we checked in. But, it seems like the issue was known ahead of time. Every night, the upstairs temp was around 85 degrees and wouldn’t cool until the early morning making it very uncomfortable to sleep. There were also no screens in the bedroom windows so we were unable to open those for air flow at night. It is unfortunate, because the neighborhood is nice and the place has a lot of potential. I just can’t recommend renting this one in the hot summer months until something is done about the A/C.

Seaweed Rentals is managed by the Campbell family, located in Northern Virginia. We grew up going to Ocean City and Bethany Beach as kids and now with our own kids and nieces and nephews. We love the beach, all the attractions OC has to offer, and boating and fishing.

We fell in love with North Ocean City for its convenience to all that OC has to offer as well as quick access to Fenwick and Bethany. You have it all in this area in addition to its ideal location for families, situated in a quiet neighborhood with less crowded beaches and great parks.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

This property is unique for its beach bungalow/cabin charm and personal touches we've brought in. It was very dark and outdated when we bought it and the space has completely transformed into a bright and airy beach retreat.
