At The Marilyn on Monroe, retro glamor meets top quality amenities in fabulous West Palm Beach! Walkable to dining and antique shops, and a short drive to the beach, restaurants on Clematis Street, the Norton Art Museum, and tons of other activities. If grungy bungalows and impersonal condos aren’t your style, my newly restored 3+BR / 2.5BA home hosts groups up to 9 and I’ll help you plan a magical trip that includes all the top attractions and hidden gems that make WPB such a special place!

The space
When you’re coming to West Palm Beach, you’ll be surrounded by sunshine and tropical plants, great shopping and dining, cultural attractions and outdoor activities, including the beach! The Marilyn on Monroe offers an elevated experience: my home is newly renovated and elegantly furnished with high end furniture and decor, appliances and amenities, and you’ll be minutes from the best that West Palm Beach has to offer. The Marilyn is located on a residential block, a short walk to famous Antique Row and great dining options, and less than a 10 minute drive to the beach and downtown!

No need to stress over parking - the driveway can accommodate two cars normally, with free street parking and additional space if you’re traveling with a larger vehicle. When you step inside, the home’s first living room greets you with the perfect space to relax after a day of travel or activities (and a little wisdom from Marilyn herself).

Three bedrooms share the east side of the house, with a layout designed to comfortably accommodate friends, families or couples:

-- the primary suite includes a King bed and en suite bathroom
-- the second bedroom includes a Queen bed and writing desk
-- and the third bedroom includes two double beds.

Each bedroom has its own TV for cozy entertainment before bed, and the second and third bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom.

The rear section of the house includes:

-- a large semi-open floor plan space with well-equipped chef’s kitchen, perfect for groups who like to cook
-- a second living room with 65” TV
-- dining area with Marilyn mural!
-- powder room and laundry
-- and access to the back yard.
-- A queen pullout couch

In the back yard, you’ll find options to suit almost any mood: outdoor dining, lawn games, beach cruiser bikes, and my bonus room, which includes both a twin futon to accommodate larger groups, and a home gym! The gym setup includes weights, yoga mats and fitness bands. You’ll also have lawn games and board games, perfect for indoor or outdoor fun.

I’m an avid traveler and a lover of glamor, so I know that your accommodations can make the difference between a magical trip and a desire to get home - I love thinking about what options and amenities will give you not only a place to sleep and relax, but inspiration for a fantastic vacation. After your booking is confirmed, I’ll send you recommendations for dining and activities, including both famous spots and the hidden gems you won’t hear about otherwise. The whole property is yours to enjoy while you're here, including the main house (3 bedrooms with 4 beds and 2.5 bathrooms), backyard and patio, and the separate bedroom/lounge & fitness space with additional single bed. The only off-limits space is my "Owner's Closet," which is locked, and marked so it's easy to identify.

Other things to note
I can't wait to help you have a great visit and will send you a big list of my recommended dining and activities after you book so you can start planning! The Marilyn on Monroe is in a fantastic location just south of downtown West Palm Beach, walkable to dining and famous Antique Row, and super convenient for both the airport and the Brightline train that runs between Miami, Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Because transportation is nearby, you'll hear some plane and train noise outside, but I have brand new double pane windows, so you rarely hear noise inside the house.
